We had a small ceremony in Carmel Valley CA. As we live on the East Coast and both have busy jobs we weren't able to do a lot of legwork but Peri and her team worked with us to get the information and details they needed to plan the video. I was at first reluctant to have a videographer for my wedding. I was not impressed with the ones I had seen from other weddings that consisted of interviews of guests primarily and people acting foolishly, and thought the money would be better spent elsewhere. However, I was persuaded to have one anyway. We are so glad we hired Peri. The videographers were unobtrusive, but caught all of the important aspects of our wedding, before and during the ceremony and after. Peri was amazing for our wedding - good natured, gave really clear directions, and our videos turned out amazingly. She was also a bit of a lifesaver - both my husband and I managed to develop zits the day of the wedding, and I cut myself in about 3 places shaving. We had some cover-up, but we both have zilch experience with make-up. Our photographer had also brought some make-up, as well as brushed, and Peri was able to make our skin look flawless. We hired Big Time Video last summer for our wedding. We loved the quality of the video and are happy we decided to have one made, but overall had a miserable experience with Peri (the owner and videographer). We decided to hire 2 videographers for our event, both of whom were pushy and in-the-face of our guests the entire cocktail hour/reception. My photographer was blocked from many shots by the big lighting systems the video crew had attached to their cameras (photographer gave us this feedback after the wedding). One guest actually overheard one of the videographers state "this is my first wedding"...not ok for the amount we paid them. The production of the video and delivery was what really disappointed. Not only did it take months, Peri's customer service was simply awful. Even though we had placed the order and prepaid for everything (including the finished video), we were told post-wedding that: 1) video needed to be delivered on a storage device because it was HD and DVD's would ruin the quality, 2) buy our own storage device and ship it to her for downloading the video and raw footage 3) send her a pre-paid shipping label in order for her to mail our video to us. We were surprised (to say the least) that she insisted we pay for and mail a pre-paid shipping label in order to get our video. One would think this might be included in the package rate? It was a big headache working with Peri. With so many fabulous video options for your wedding or important event, I would steer clear of this business. I have never before written a Yelp review but felt compelled to share my experience with this specific vendor. read more

Peri is the best. I had a birthday party and it was kinda a big one for me anyways. I thought it would be fun to have some footage done for a memory. There is so much on that video I didn't even know was going on... People I really wasn't able to talk with much, said hi and wished me well on my big b day. It was really special. Peri and her team did a fabulous job at our Carmel wedding in August of 08. She was easy to work with from start to finish! During the actual day, she managed to get all the shots we could have ever wanted, without being invasive (most often we didn't even notice her and her crew at work).
