Very unfriendly place, went to have a gun transfer done and it took about ten minutes to get help, regardless to say the guy that helped me gave me a wrong fax number and transaction number. This is a quality range with nice people working behind the counter. I love the fact that the range is automated and you have a light you can switch on at the shooting station if need be. The selection of rental pistols is decent. I would definitely go back if I was in the area. read more

I went to RAF for the first time this weekend with a meetup group, some of whom were first-time shooters and a few of us, myself included, had some experience. I think it's the best range I've ever been to, not so much because of the facility but rather the folks that run it. I think they have 11 lanes in all, and we were a group of about six that was looking for three lanes in total. The rangemaster went out of his way to get us setup, and helped us get lanes that were next to one another. This is important, since they have a rule that guns should not switch lane-to-lane, but rather the shooters should. They don't nickel and dime you to death, which means they provide eyes and ears at no charge, and they allow you to use your own ammo. If you rent their guns, you do have to use their ammo, but this is really pretty reasonable. Ammo is about what you'd expect, pretty marked-up, $20 or $25 a box or so. They charge $1.00 for targets, and have about 10 kinds to choose from. The gun rentals are also very flexible, in that you can spend the $10 to rent a gun (pretty cheap), use it, and then trade it in for another. So, the $10 charge basically gives you the right to use any handgun or rifle they have, one at a time. Very nice, since many places charge for each gun. They have a pretty good selection of handguns, and a few rifles, but no AR-15 for rent, which was a bummer. We used two of my pistols, and rented a beretta 9mm semi-auto rifle, and it was a lot of fun. The guy that helped us out was happy to ring us up separately, and even gave us a 15 minute safety/shooting course in the classroom at no charge. Overall, I don't think I've been to a range where the staff was so accommodating and willing to help. It's not the biggest range, best facility, or has the widest selection of guns to rent or buy, but as someone that's been to quite a few ranges, they definitely were the easiest to work with. For some reason, a lot of ranges are staffed by folks that think they're the shit, just because they strap on a piece and work in a gun shop. This is not that type of place, so go there feeling comfortable if you're experienced or a beginner. The only reason I gave 4 and not 5 stars is the selection of rifles they have to rent, and the general inventory of the store is pretty minimal. I've been to much nicer, better equipped, ranges, but the people just weren't as accommodating. Worth a try. I think as long as you're not being a jerk, you'll do just fine here. read more

Greatly disappointed. Went there with my friends and rented a Glock 19. The gun started to get jammed immediately and the bullets will not eject. Got the attitude from the guy and he says that I didn't know how to hold a gun. Ok. He came saw the problem and returned with another gun. The problem repeated again. This time he comes with another box of ammo and realized that THEY GAVE THE WRONG AMMO. This a Serious risk to injury. When wet asked for a refund We received a silly grin and 20 bucks off the more than 140 bucks wet billed. With this attitude and callousness they can potentially kill someone someday. I like RAF, but they were very expensive last time I went. I didn't bring a gun and we had two people, so it totaled over $100 for about 30 shots each. Here were the prices we paid: Lane rental per hour: $20 x 2 people Gun rental for day: $20 .22LR shop bullets: $1 a piece Targets: $1 a piece Eyes and Ears: free So, it was a great day spent with my dad but it was quite expensive. We could have purchased a season pass to lower the cost of lane rental, but that's only half the problem. Bullets were a buck a piece and (I can't actually confirm this because I didn't ask the guy) there was a sign that said you could only use RAF bullets. That may mean you can only use their bullets in THEIR guns, but it wasn't too clear. If they don't let people use bullets they buy at home or recase themselves, then that means everyone is spending a dollar per shot and that's just too much, even with bullets as hard to find as they are at the moment. A box of .22LR is $8 around the corner from me and the difference between $.08 a round and $1.00 is massive. If you can bring your own guns and bullets and you have the yearly membership, this place is probably amazing. I'm simply reviewing my experience and for me, the casual shooter who just wanted to spend some time with his dad, it was an average time! We now go to Del Val Sports off of Red Lion road and we rent the lane for $20 (entire day, unlimited number of shooters) and use our own guns and bullets. read more

While it is a beautiful gun shop and their firing range is quite good in my opinion their prices for guns is a bit much, I have been to other shops in the area and have always been able to beat their prices and for guns that were in just as good ( if not better ) condition. My advice if you are shopping for a gun , shop around, it's worth it. read more

I been to ready aim fire three times so far. The staff were nice everytime I went to shoot. The indoor range is good except for when a lot of people are firing sometimes the ventilation isn't good. I plan to keep coming here until it gets warm outside. Then I will be shooting at Range 14 on Ft. Dix. The downside is that the ammo is expensive here I recommend to bring your own ammo. Also the range get crowded quick. read more

I've been coming here for a few years now so I figured it was time for a review. It's pretty average for a range in this area but I always have a good time. Prices are on par with most other ranges but not too expensive and the staff for the most part is very friendly. The downside is that they don't have a large selection of guns for sale and the class III firearms for rent is pretty much gone these days which is no fun. With that being said, I like this place and I'll be back again without a doubt. I don't know anywhere else I can shoot a 500 S&W. read more

Not bad for a gun range. Simple and basic. Some interesting targets. There is noone overseeing the people shooting and anyone with a drivers lisence over 21 can shoot. You can bring your own ammo and weapons or purchase ammo and rent weapons on site. The range is loud and in the summer can get hot. read more

As I'm new to the area, I've been going around to all the ranges and handgun stores to get a feel for where I'd like to shoot in the future. I'm a long-time handgun owner, shooter and collector and also have a concealed carry permit. My first visit to Ready, Aim, Fire was a good one. I walked in and it was a pleasant atmosphere with a couple labradors behind the counter, very friendly. The younger salesman that helped me out was courteous and not rude, unlike a few other stores around. I had been looking for a particular handgun in the area to try out and had been unsuccessful finding one in stock anywhere, until I walked in RAF. It was what I expected, and at a good price and not overly marked up. So I purchased it. Although it was near closing time, the paperwork was handled quickly and I was out the door with the handgun and a holster within about 20 minutes. I didn't go into the range, however, from the window it appeared to be in good condition. There was also a secondary room, with tables, snack machines and such. Friendliness is a big thing with me. You can have the biggest store and best selection, but if you're not friendly, I'm not coming back. I'll be back to Ready, Aim, Fire. ~r~ read more

Shooting range is a very good facility, lighting is good, temperature controlled, targets work well. Like every other range, rent their guns....buy their ammo. Pricing pretty much the same everywhere. Staff isn't looking to be your best friend but they will answer any questions. Folks! it's a gun range not a country club. I've been here a handful of times. Staff can either be very nice or a little grumpy, but who doesn't have a bad day. Ammo prices are outrageous but there is a Walmart a few miles down the road. It's always been clean when I've been there. Obviously a Saturday or Sunday when it's packed it won't stay clean very long. I've always liked the place. read more

We just had a rather disappointing evening here. I usually go to Clayton's in Horsham or Classic Pistol in Southampton and I have had excellent service there. However, they aren't open late enough so we decided to check out this place. Big mistake! It's obvious that this business only cares about having a high volume of customers rather than providing decent service and getting people to come back. I came here with my girlfriend and my friend, both of whom are new to shooting. I brought my own gun but they rented one. The gun kept jamming and we couldn't figure out why. We asked them and they blamed it on us and said that it was because we were firing wrong. After them treating us like idiots for about 30 minutes, they finally realized that they gave us the wrong ammunition for the gun. Firing they gun with the wrong I'm ammo in it can be a huge safety issue but they acted like it was no big deal and they never even apologized for treating us like idiots and telling us it was our fault. When we were leaving, I told them that it was completely unacceptable that they gave us the wrong ammo. We spent $132 between the three of us and wasted half an hour dealing with this BS. When I said that this was unacceptable, the man just gave me an attitude and looked at me like I was being unreasonable b*tch. Then he threw $20 at me and walked away. I am not an unreasonable b*tch and all it would've taken to resolve the issue was a simple apology. However, treat me like I'm an unreasonable b*tch when you're an incompetent idiot and you get a shitty Yelp review and we are never coming back. I live in the area, and if I would've received an apology from these people I probably would've became a regular there. Instead, I will drive 30 to 45 minutes to go a gun range where they treat me like a valued customer rather than going to somewhere where they treat me like I'm a dumb b*tch when they don't even put the correct ammo in their guns. read more

I'm a member at Ready Aim Fire and plan to be for a while since it's about 15 min from my house. Everyone at the counter has been extremely helpful, even after all of my stupid questions. They have a nice assortment of rental guns, ammo is slightly over priced but not beyond what your expect to find at any other range. I'd like to see a few improvements in the range however. 1. Ditch the cable target system and replace with a rail system. When you send a target out halfway, it bounces for a long while before stabilizing. 2. Add shelves in the stalls to store range bags, ammo, etc. there is currently no place to keep belongings and this problem is worse if you bring a guest with their gear. 3. This one is a big safety issue for me, there are no employees patrolling the actual range. No range master. This is absolutely needed, as is evident by the bullet holes in the metal divider walls. I know my gun is always facing down range, but I'm not sure my neighbor's is, and that scares me. A few small improvements would make this place 5 stars... read more

1ST Visit to RAF. 1st handgun. Great people answered all my questions, explained the targets that I had were to small and sold me a large one cheap and told me to tape my targets to theirs. The guy let me take his tape dispenser to the range with me. Next thought my ear plugs were good until I went in the range, I came back out and they gave me hearing protection and treated me with respect. I will definitely go back and make it my practice range in the future and may even buy a membership. read more

Place is too expensive and the staff isn't friendly, save your money and go elsewhere. There are other gun ranges in the area that cost less and have a better staff, cheaper lane costs, and less expensive ammo. Even the targets were over priced. read more

Been going there on and off for a few years now. Yesterday I went to test out my 870 which had just returned from Remington for a failure to extract problem. The guys on staff were awesome enough to not only take help inspect my gun after I ran into the problem again (problem with the gun, not the range), but they gave me a few higher quality shells for free to test with. Great no non-sense range with a helpful staff. These guys do a good job keeping the dirtballs out. I have bought several guns off of them over the years and they always have fair prices. They modernized the range area after the fire so it's a little louder than some ranges (acoustic insulation burns fast) but it's always clean. I only shoot during the week because the place is always busy on the weekends. They close on Mondays. read more
