There were not many people in the establishment on this Sunday evening. The waitress was friendly and invited us to sit wherever we wanted. Rugiono's appears to need a bit of a face lift. There was a Pepsi fridge in the dining area and it was we could see cheese being stored in there. The decor was dated and there was a pile of boxes that could be seen at the end of the restaurant. We ordered a few personal pizza's, a Grinder (or sub) and some breadsticks to start out meal. I have to admit when the breadsticks came out I was confused. They looked more like pizza triangles with cheese on them. However, when I took a bite, I was pleasantly surprised the cheese was fantastic, and the dough was on point. It made me excited to get my pizza. Once the pizza came, I was very pleased. I did takeoff the jalapeños because it was too spicy for me, but everything else was fantastic on the menu. It says that they make their dough fresh every day and you could really taste that they do. I was not as impressed with the grinder and the potato wedges that came with it tasted like they've been in the freezer too long. I still have to give this place four stars though, because I loved the pizza! I would love to see Rugiono's get a makeover, but for Pizza I would definitely go again if I am in the area.
