I made a good faith effort to have a real conversation with their office manager. It was IMPOSSIBLE. Everyone in the world has insurance today. But, he refused to accept my new insurance which is actually one of the top three nationally. He said, "Cash basis only!" When I asked him to put that in writing and/or email, he refused! That's not just a problem. That is a HUGE RED FLAG! IMHO. His "cash basis only" seems like a highly unlikely scenario in 2026! Then, you should also be aware of his inability to articulate in a clear & concise manner. He says the same thing repeatedly...four of five times each!!! For example, "We are no longer independent." (five times) "We are owned by Methodist hospital." (four times) Either he has dementia and repeats things over & over again or his English is so limited that he is unable to elaborate beyond a few key phrases. If you are expecting him to actually listen to you as the patient, your expectations are misplaced. He will continually speak over you...not to convey anything new...only to force you to listen to something that he has already said. REPEATEDLY! He enjoys the sound of his own voice so much that he fails to listen at all. Failure to listen to the patient proves that he has his own agenda. That lack of respect that he shows towards the patient's input is so unsettling that I have chosen to look for another physical therapy office in our area. That won't be too difficult. There seems to be one on every other corner. I suggest that you look elsewhere too.

She laid in bed all night in feces while continuously pressing the nurse call button, but no one came. She even tried to sit on the side of the bed thinking the bed alarm would go off. The morning nurse came in and the call button was not plugged in and the bed alarm was not set. Mom had trouble breathing and had to request a chest X-ray which determined she had pneumonia. No breathing treatments were provided and several times her oxygen wasn't even on. I removed her against doctors orders on a Saturday and transported her by ambulance to a hospital. The EMTs said this is common with this facility. Do not let your loved in suffer here.

I always find a parking spot on the outside with easy access available and have yet to enter parking garage but they do have one available. I have been going to get adjustments since it opened with most recent visit being 11/29/23 from Dr.Tim Nawrocki. He is very knowledgeable and not rough like some chiropractors. He's also friendly, punctual, and caring too. I notice that my back and neck always feel better when I keep regular visits. Another amazing experience about this office is it's so easy to book your appointments. If your like myself and only remember things after hours or if you love texting verses calling or both they have an app which is very convenient! I love it and they text you 48 hours before your appointment then 24 hours then on the day of so you don't forget or you have time to cancel because I was getting to that next, they will charge you a fee if you cancel appt last minute but they will work with you as far as if an emergency were to come up so they aren't going to just profit on you being late but they make it hard for you to be late with the reminders. lol! Last but not least, it is not inexpensive but it's totally worth it when your pains start to ease up and you start to feel better. I used to think how can a chiropractor really work on you in 15 min or less but they can if they know what they are doing! Everyone is different of course but if you have pain and looking for help this place is a good start or finish if you're lucky. After my mom had suffered a minor stroke and a fall resulting in a head injury, the Dallas hospital…read morehad recommended that she be admitted into a rehabilitation facility. I wanted a place that was close to my home, and we chose Carrara Skilled Nursing Facility in Plano, TX. This was a huge mistake .. on so many levels. First .. there were some positives .. a few of the nursing staff - Rebecca & Angela were wonderful, caring, and helpful. Their therapy staff was wonderful as well .. striving to improve functionality, and were tremendously positive. Also, the exec director John was great - engaged, apologetic about the staff's numerous failings, and ready to jump-in when needed ... even at late hours and on holidays. Thank you John! Then .. there the nursing staff. The worst. Nasty. Lazy. Disengaged. Possibly even .. evil at times. Most clearly hate their jobs, and it shows. Some have really bad attitude problems. They are so incredibly lazy. The call buzzer will ring for 1-hour +, with no response. My mother was there for 5 weeks .. I visited almost every day and saw call lights on, but nursing staff were scrolling on their cellphones in the nursing station while the buzzers were ringing with room call-lights lit-up. They chose to not respond. This is a clear case of negligence. Two days ago, I witnessed 5 call lights on in multiple halls .. no help. Nursing staff were at the nurses station chatting and staring at their phones. I found (4-nights in a row) my mom's call buzzer laying on the floor under the bed (I have photos), with zero accessibility to my mom. They would leave the buzzer there, turn off the lights, and close the door. My mom was screaming for help .. but there was no help to be found. Until I'd get a desperate call from her cellphone to drive over there and help. This happened many times. Nursing staff doesn't care. I would complain to John .. he was super apologetic and would get people moving to remedy this .. but why should I have to bother him for this stuff every time? Nursing manager is named Ta'Wanda. I had a conference call with her. She made clear that "the real problem was that my expectations were too high. My mom had been transferred from a hospital with a much higher staff-to-patient ratio, and she said that I needed to adjust my expectations". I called her out on that claim .. she didn't like it. That was the last time we spoke, and the executive director requested that I no longer speak with Ta'Wanda. I will spare the reader of this review the graphic details of all of my mom's experiences, but the unpleasantries of neglect for many hours on end were pretty bad. I witnessed my mom become angrier and angrier by the day. I repeatedly requested only female nursing staff to help my mom to the restroom, but again and again, that was not the case .. with a large man from another country watching her pee. The laundry staff lost my mom's nightgowns - I asked them to track-down her clothes, but apparently (according to their staff) it was my fault for not having properly nametag-labeled her clothing in advance. Those articles of clothing are gone. The food was inedible .. absolutely disgusting. The first night .. dinner looked like vomit atop a pile of rice. And the dessert looked even worse. My whole family took it upon ourselves to supplement my mom's food in order to keep her alive amid a veritable barrage of inedible piles of slop on a tray presented to my mother. I entered that building almost every day for 5 weeks .. and amazingly, I never had to sign-in or out even once .. gee .. nice security. I was even advised by one staff member (& thank you to that wonderful staff member) that it would be a good idea to remove my mom's purse from her room, in order to keep her personal belongings safe from the other staff members. The kitchen staff was quite memorable. There was an instance when I brought my mom a delicious slice of chocolate cake (she loves chocolate) .. and then I went to the kitchen to request a plate. I said, 'May I please have a plate?" .. The kitchen staff member said .. "You wanna plate"?, then handed me a styrofoam box. So I said, "No, please .. may I please have a plate for some cake for my mom" .. She then handed me a bowl. At this point, I had graduated to the mocking phase .. picked-up a plate right in front of her .. held it in front of her face and said .. "Plate"! It appeared as though the IQ level of some staff members might not even register - - As a kitchen staff member.. the first thing to understand is ... "What is a Plate?" This is a facility that I would never recommend for anyone to use. At first, it appears to be a nice rehab place with some decent aesthetics shown on their website .. but once you understand their nursing culture .. Do yourself a huge favor and run for the hills. FYI - there were multiple incidents which were reported to their management to be a problem, that were never properly remedied .... STAY AWAY!

To Whom It May Concern,…read more I am writing to share feedback regarding my hospital stay following surgery on Monday, January 19, 2026. I was hospitalized on January 19 and 20 and discharged on January 21, 2026. Overall, my experience from pre-op through recovery and the PCU was positive and supportive. However, my interaction with a Medical Assistant named Wendy during the night shift on January 20, 2026, was deeply concerning. From the beginning of her shift, Wendy's behavior felt dismissive and unprofessional. During her first set of vital signs, she did not introduce herself or acknowledge me. I had to stop her to ask who she was. Throughout the night, she rolled her eyes, slammed doors during early morning vital checks, and created unnecessary noise during a time when patients are trying to rest. When I needed assistance getting out of bed, I was made to feel like an inconvenience for asking. Because of the bed alarm, my husband could not safely help me. Later, when my husband asked if he could get ice water for himself, her response was visibly frustrated. She huffed and slammed the door as she left the room. About twenty minutes later, she returned to reconnect me to monitoring equipment and appeared irritated with how my pillows were positioned. She removed two twined blankets and placed them on my chest, leaving my arms and legs exposed. When I asked for more ice water, she replied that she had just given me some. I explained that the water had been for my husband. She rolled her eyes and walked away without addressing my request. I reported my concerns to the nurse in charge. From that point forward, the care I received from Nurse Eirene was outstanding. She treated me with dignity, compassion, and professionalism, consistent with how she had cared for me throughout the shift. Approximately one hour before shift change on January 21, Wendy returned to take my final vital signs and offered a quiet apology. She stated that the ice water issue was due to confusion, saying she thought I was NPO, despite the fact that my surgery had occurred two days prior and she had seen me eating dinner. She also said her behavior stemmed from being passionate about patient care. The apology did not align with her repeated actions throughout the night and did not feel reflective of accountability. I have worked in healthcare for over 30 years, including 20 years as a medic in the United States Air Force. I understand the realities of night shift work and the demands placed on staff. Even so, dismissive behavior and lack of basic courtesy should never be part of a patient's experience, especially for someone recovering from surgery. I am sharing this feedback out of professional responsibility, not anger. No patient should feel like a burden or hesitate to ask for help. I hope this experience is reviewed and addressed appropriately. I would also like to acknowledge the many staff members who provided excellent care and made my stay worthwhile. Sheila, Marisol, Maria, Kelcey, Eirene, and Tierra each demonstrated professionalism, kindness, and attentiveness that truly mattered during my recovery. Thank you for taking the time to review my feedback. Sincerely, Dr. Giselle Moody

When I arrived at the…read moreemergency room tell me why my dad smelled of a combination of urine, blood, and bile, and no one thought to try and make sure it was sanitary for my dad so it didn't lead to an infection. I went in the emergency room with my sister only to find my dad unconscious with blood around his neck, and the nurses verbatim said "If I knew he was having visitors I would've changed his sheets" well you should've changed them anyway??? What does me being there have to do if you give a patient clean sheets. At some point he gets transferred to ICU, they put all the oxygen in his veins, all the medical equipment they can possibly attach to him. They have trouble getting him to stabilize, however in the midst of hooking up all the machines to him like the oxygen there's five doctors in the room initially. They tell us they're still running tests he is highly sensitive and to let him rest and wait in the waiting room. I barely get any updates unless it came from the head of the ICU, and even then it's just bad news after bad news. His body doesn't stabilize, he enters cardiac arrest, and he passes away. So after watching my dad physically leave this earth, I'm waiting for the Chaplin to arrive. I never had to deal with death to this capacity before. I'm waiting atleast a hour + on the Chaplin to arrive. Finally when he does arrive he gives a grievance folder and basically says hey you have to choose immediately if you're going to burry him, cremate him etc. I'm still waiting on his ashes, but since the hospital doesn't follow protocol and isn't under compliance we have a funeral checking in on our behalf , so I can properly grieve in peace. His name is Daniel Dwayne Heskett and he died at the age of 61. I truly believe in this case it was hospital negligence. Thank you for your time. A grieving daughter Ann Elizabeth Heskett UPDATE : So under Texas law the death certificate should've been filed by Jan 8th. The doctor has signed Jan. 9th. The only reason why the doctor had signed on Jan. 9th is because I had to call pastoral care and speak with the Chaplin to ask why my dad's death certificate still hasn't been sign. Only for the doctor to text the Chaplin "I'm sorry I'll do that today" Jan. 8th I sent an email to patient relation wanting to be provided with the reasoning as to why the death certificate signature took so long, why was there a delay when cause of death was natural / cardiac arrest. Never did I receive a response back from the hospital. The Chaplin just tells me that the doctor is busy. Busy? Too busy to sign a death certificate and follow Texas law protocol when it comes to the dead? That's interesting. I'm filing a complaint against this hospital, and I'm also filing a review for my dad's death certificate to get a reason as to why it took so long file his death certificate. It's sad that the hospital doesn't keep you informed and for someone like me who hasn't gone through death in this capacity before have to call and make sure people are doing their job. But hey maybe this will inform others not to take their love ones here if they can help it
