But things started falling apart as soon we got an offer ( before even the open house) . There was a lot of nervousness that she relayed to us and an uncertainty about the price of house ( which was priced based on her recommendation - lower than what we believed the value to be ) . The inspection revealed few issues which is normal for 100 year old house but that led to really no negotiation at all from our side. She scared and bullied us to not negotiating a single ask on the inspection sheet and we signed without getting some estimates launching into an even more rigmarole while trying to fulfill the contract. At one point of time , while questioning the bill of n contractor as well as telling her that we needed to spend time with family and could not meet her , I was told that I am making a drama and she only communicated with one home owner . We had another issue come up that required an amendment which was not agreeable to us and we wanted to negotiate further . But Marisa became very nervous and was literally threatening us that if we did not sign this this buyers will walk away etc. This was one of the most stressful periods in our life and we had to hire a lawyer to help look out for our interests in selling our own house. Marisa did not look out for the interests / needs of the sellers. Yes we sold the house at the asking price but we spent a lot of unnecessary money to make it happen and the process of selling a house we loved became a torture. It is a stressful period for any homeowner and the real estate agent should help us look through all options , understand the impacts and let us make the decisions in a calm way . Any home selling and buying is a negotiation and as an agent she should have understood our needs .

He also is an incredible person to see a house with--a perceptive eye for all the things to look for that I never would have considered. Throughout the shopping process, he thoughtfully considered our unique needs and gave us answers to questions we didn't even know we had. At the time we were buying (spring 2022), it was definitely a seller's market.
