They misrepresented the home to be a regular sale, and only after I had put a regular offer on the house, paid for inspection, and sold my old home, did they come clean and let me know that the new house would be a short sale. They then kept me completely in the dark about what that meant, either misrepresented at best or flat out lied at worst about their knowledge of short sales. I was never given the opportunity to renegotiate with the lender for the price of the new house, spent 4 months in limbo with no updates as to when I would actually close on the house, and was never apologized to. In short, I was lied to, robbed, and treated rudely for the trouble. Now, my family and I are living in a house that is a constant reminder of what was done to us and how we were treated.
