Larry was the property manager, not the landlord, but nothing ever seemed to get done with him there, at least not while I lived there which, granted, was not very long. HOWEVER, the owner was unaware of what was going on at this time, and once he became aware handed over management duties to a property management company. The last few months of my stay were hectic with the management changes, but the new company seems to be MUCH better at managing the property and taking care of the tenants/units. I have no doubt they will turn the place around. During the management change I had the opportunity to speak with the owner and he seems like a genuinely good person and would not intentionally screw over his tenants. I really loved the layout of the apartments, but I did not particularly like the neighborhood. There are several children in these apartments and that can make for some very noisy summer days/evenings.

We're very comfortable inside and cozy when it's cold and it has a great A/C system. It is an apartment complex so there are many people coming and going but that's apartment living. It's a cute little complex, but I had several surprises: no microwave or garbage disposal and when you turn into the apartments, the curb is absolutely ridiculous. It's WAY too high and if you attempt going over it any faster than 5 mph, you and your car will regret it. It's been a month since my move-in day and overall -- I am quite content. They even gave us cupcakes at the lease signing :D
