My wife and I called Re-Bath to discuss our options for our existing bathroom. My knee replacement got me thinking about access to our existing soaker tub/shower setup. Maurice discussed all our options with us covering every possible option. He didn't rush through anything and listened to our thoughts and ideas for what we envisioned. In the end the decision was made to add a couple of grab bars and cut out the front of the tub in a couple of years when we feel we need to. There was no pressure whatsoever. At first, the guy Re-Bath sent out seemed fake-friendly, asking about my investment property and personal life like he was genuinely interested. But it quickly became obvious he was just trying to butter me up before launching into a high-pressure sales pitch. I made it clear multiple times that I'd be getting more than one quote--something any reasonable contractor should expect--but he clearly didn't like hearing that. He kept dragging out the conversation, ignoring my signals that I was busy (I'm in the middle of a kitchen remodel), and wouldn't take "not now" for an answer. Then came the kicker: he quoted me $12,000 for a basic wall surround replacement. Totally out of touch with reality. This was a textbook example of a company that wastes your time, pressures you with overpriced quotes, and relies on slick talk rather than actual value. Try as we might with 4 phone calls to get an appointment after the recommendation from Home Depot, they completely refused to come visit for an estmate because they REQUIRED ALL OWNERS TO BE PRESENT. Not one owner, all owners. It didn't matter who would actually be paying for the job, which wouldn't be the owners, and for which the owners gave their blessing. They refused to get out of their chair and drive across town to go get a job! They didn't offer any information or marketing material. They just don't even want to try to work. Given the other reviews I now see, it appears they are not in business to do business. Please, don't waste your time like we did. Don't bother calling. read more

I was recommended to ReBath by Home Depot. The upside was the zero percent financing for 24 months. The downside was I was mislead by the salesman about my expectations of the entire job. Several times I asked about the tub covering and he stated it will be white I just needed to choose the wall colors. The price came out to be $8,300. It seemed high but there was a tear out of all the old tile replacing the valve, replacing some pipes and installing green board. Once I agreed, all paperwork was signed on his ipad and I expected a copy to be emailed for my review which I never received. David, the installer arrived on time and he stated it would take the entire day for completion. I returned at the end of the day only to be completely disappointed. The walls were completed and looked excellent but I was shocked when I the saw the unfinished tub. David stated the tub was not included in the job according to his paperwork. I stated I was completely dissatisfied and he would have his manage call me. It is one week and I have not received a follow up call. I will now have to get a contractor to reglaze this ugly tub at an additional cost. I cannot recommend ReBath. read more

They are okay. I have used them in the past and had good experience, but this time, for the money, they were pretty poor to fair. They punched through the bathroom right into the bedroom then poorly threw on some plaster and didn't sand it. The entire house, the beds, the couches, the rugs, were filled with dust. I had closed all the bedroom doors but from some reason they had to open them all, the result being that everything is covered with dust. They didn't do everything they agreed to do and then argued about it. It was REALLY EXPENSIVE. What you are buying with these jokers is time. They are in and out in two days and that makes it worth the money but when they do a shitty job and damage the rest of the house and leave nails and screws in the driveway it really leaves a bad taste in your mouth. read more

Update: I really had high hopes that this company was going to make things right, oh well. It has been two weeks and the company has gone silent now not responding to any texts. Now we are left with a huge hole in the ceiling below the bath that we will have to have repaired at our cost and they never reimbursed us for the emergency plumber. Like I said originally, stray away from this company. Apparently their statement about everyone deserving a bathroom they love doesn't apply to the rest of the house when their work causes issues elsewhere. I was looking to replace the old shower insert with an updated walk in shower. I also needed a seat and grab bars for my wife and to insure the Home Health Aide could easily help her shower. I contacted Re-Bath after reading reviews both good and bad. Our customer rep was Tim and he spent over two hours listening to what we wanted and needed. My wife is on hospice but still can communicate and he was so patient listening to her and insuring the contract contained everything we requested. But then the bad news, it would take 10 to 12 weeks. Since my wife's condition has been deteriorating I told him I really needed it sooner. He called back to his Manager and they put a Rush on the project. We were looking at 4-6 weeks. In four weeks, the installers were there. Manny and Jaleno were professional and very courteous. I forget the Plumber's name but he was great. Came in the first day and got all his work done. What I really appreciated was that Manny asked my wife to show him where she wanted the grab bars so they would be easy for her to reach. If we had any questions Manny would take the time to give us a complete answer. I never felt that we were bothering them. The project was done in just two days and they really insured the entire area was cleaned. You could not tell that anyone had done any work in the bathroom. I do know that I would recommend Re-Bath out of Rhode Island to everybody. read more

We ran into them at the Rhode Island Home Show and asked for someone to come to our house for an estimate. The estimate literally lasted TWO HOURS - the guy was very nice, but overquoted us for a bathroom remodel. He said it would cost $27,000 today, but $33,000 if we didn't sign today (not including the quote for the plumbing). I appreciate that they are in and out in 2-4 days, but this quote seems very high. And while the salesman wasn't necessarily pushy, it would have been nice to know that he would be at our house for two hours. read more

So after reading reviews, some bad some good , I decided to go with Re bath. The first part is getting through the free consultation. The particular salesman we had was pretty hard core and also funny. He used old school car salesman tactic which we didn't love, but as all the quotes had been pretty similar we thought oh let's just go for it. We signed on the day ... they try very hard for you to sign on the day of your consultation. Then ..... radio SILENCE. Literally for two months NOTHING. After one apologetic email and a couple photos of what we wanted another month of SILENCE. I lost my patience and sent them a strongly worded email ! Then my husband phoned to say we were canceling our order and ended up speaking with the head of the company who was incredibly friendly and accommodating and literally said that we slipped through the cracks and they could have it done by the end of the week . We said Great ! We were told it would take two days. The two man team who came in the morning were prompt and friendly and got to work Immediately. I've literally never seen work this fast and good. The plumber came and did his bit and eight hours after they arrived THE WHOLE JOB WAS DONE ! Perfectly done. They were lovely to have in the house , the neighbors commented on how clean they were , (they did a lot of the sawing out side in the communal gardens. ) They cleaned everything up to perfection and I LOVE LOVE MY NEW TUB AND SHOWER. As I see from other reviews, I too would tell EVERYONE to STAY AWAY from ReBath! The sales rep was as "slick" as they come. He wrote everything down on his pad, including the rainforest shower---a teak seat and an 8" spread for the vanity faucet. He explained that these were "extras" and they would not be cheap, but that they were a good thing for seniors. He quoted me a cost--- I signed a contract and when the official contract came in, the cost was all lumped together with no line by line accounting. I requested it at least five times but to no avail. After about a week or so, the sales rep called to tell me that the quartz counter top was unavailable--- they couldn't find one to fit the decor of the bath, so I backed out of having them do that, and asked for an accounting of what that was estimated to be--- I went to a stone place an purchase a quartz stone top --ReBath's price was 6.5 times more that what I paid. Installation was done by two VERY Professional guys-- who were very competent-- but during the install i discovered that there was no Rainforest shower--which I ordered and supposedly paid for. I called the Sales rep---no answer and no call back. The installer called the company and they said it was never on the contract---and that they could add it for $800.00 more---NO THANKS. The installers continued for two days and I watched everything--they did a GREAT job! it looked great as they got near the end. I needed to leave my home---and when I came back they were finished--I looked great---they left and after about a few moments, I realized there was no seat (which I presumed that were going to put in last). When I called the company--- I got the same response-- "not on the contract" and again, The Sales rep had told me how good it would be to have a seat--and included it in the contract--and I supposedly paid for it!!!!! When a "manager" called me late in the day, he told me the same thing and that "unfortunately" a seat could not be reto-fitted. He suggested that they maybe MIGHT be able to send me some money to go and buy a seat from a medical supply store. I was so angry Told him that I needed to hang up before I used language that I would regret---and told him to call be back when I could be more restrained. that was a week ago----no call back. I now have contacted the Council on Aging in my state (they take it very seriously when a senior is taken advantage of) and they are looking into ReBath. GO somewhere other than REBATH if your looking for an honest company read more

They did our bathroom here in ct. would never recommend. Called them twice over water leaking onto first floor. They send the same plumber. Only to tell me to start replacing pipes. Their workers put silicone instead of the seal kit. From the picture you can see their workmanship. If not caught. Your whole house will rot. I had to pay a plumber to fix their mistakes. We looked into checking for estimates for our old colonial with small baths and bedrooms. We had our only small full bath done once 15 yrs ago. Long and short of this is the bathroom reno was estimated as $23,000 or so and still did not include every inch. We asked about maybe just changing out the shower (beaten up by use and kids/teens....) with a redo and this was priced at $11,000. We were beyond stunned at this ridiculous estimate and our guy was equally stunned that we thought it was high (for a bathroom that can't even have double sinks). My marble custom Walk IN shower was long overdo to be replaced. I decided I wanted a solid surface solution and reached out reached out to independent local contractors, New Pro and many more. None of them could accommodate the "customization required for my project. "The pan and the angles were custom" and couldn't be accommodated by their product/services. And then one day while leaving Home Depot I stopped at a table offering the RE-BATH PRODUCT..I was curious and SET UP AN APPOINTMENT IMEDIATELY. THE REBATH sales consultant came to the house and looked at shower and began explaining how they could help me. Their solid surface solution was able to meet all of my needs including an offer of financing through Home Depot. I selected the colors, and a team was sent out to install as soon as the "Custom" pan was made. The team arrived and immediately put down drop cloths to protect my carpets and floors. They were efficient, worked together well, asked clarifying questions when necessary. They finished the job in three days! IT DOESN'T GET ANY BETTER THAN REBATH!!!!!!!!!! read more

I was looking to spend $25K on a bathroom remodel project for my senior citizen parents who have mobility issues. I couldn't even get the consultation scheduled without being asked invasive questions regarding who "really" owned the home. Do people upgrade ($25K) other peoples bathrooms behind their back? It was a mistake from the beginning. It started with the high pressure salesperson, promising perfection (delivering less than mediocre work), and fictitious discounts. I only had the one bathroom, so the idea of getting it done in a few days was the only reason I did this, even though it was extremely overpriced. They showed up (late) to "precision measure" the custom vanity I had for a new counter top and sink. Then the destruction day came. A lot of debris fell through the floor into the basement and left for me to clean up. The floor was put in with inconsistent and uneven grout lines. The door was cut to allow for the new floor, but it was cut crooked and looks ugly. The shower rod is too low, so the liner is always damp. The threshold they put in was crooked. The faucet was leaking and I had to fix that myself, because calling them would take 6 weeks to get here. The plan called for a separate light and fan switch, but that was not done. The "precision" measurement did not take into account the backsplash, so the counter was 5/8 short, and did not line up they way it should have. Now I have to look at that every day and get pissed because I paid so much for precision work. The right thing to do would have been for them to reorder the correct size, but they would not do that. And it seems that nobody in the entire company is authorized to give a refund, not even the owner. The "minor touch up and finish work" they expect you to do is a full time job in itself. They used caulking to hide bad workmanship instead of squaring up a corner in the shower. I feel I was robbed and would not recommend these people to work on a porta potty. read more

HORRIBLE company! Hired them through Home Depot. We met with them on May 14,2018 and hired them to completely renovate my bathroom. They called me and scheduled renovation for July 2nd. NOT ONE thing about the renovation was smooth....their measurements for the shower were off so my fiance didn't fit under the shower head, they also had to cut into my window frame to fit the shower door in. When you flushed the toilet you had to make sure the lid was closed because the water literally bubbled and splashed out of the toilet. Their plumber came out and after spending 20 minutes looking at the toilet told my Fiance it would be $400 cash to fix(even though it was supposed to be warrantied for life) He said no and picked up his phone to call the supervisor to question this...surprise surprise the plumber went into bathroom and 5 minutes later came out and said all fixed!! The sales woman Jennye ordered the wrong vanity not ONCE but THREE times!!!(I know shame on me at this point) She had pictures and we had exchanged several emails that included exactly what we wanted ordered....wrong! The vanity has 5 inch gaps on each side when it was supposed to be wall to wall. They kindly told me that it was a mistake and they would fix it. Jennye came over and told me that their was a misunderstanding and I would have to pay the difference in the vanity that was too small and the correct vanity....fine whatever, just get me the right one(again shame on me). We waited weeks for the correct vanity to come in. After an email to the supervisor surprise surprise our order was in that day! My Fiance took the day off for them to come install the second vanity.....I couldnt believe it when he called me and told me that Jennye ordered it backwards and because the drawers were on the opposite side of where they should be the vanity wouldn't fit with the pipes!!! WTH! The supervisor came to our house and told us they reordered the CORRECT vanity. They told us they would reimburse us the total for the vanity and give us a compensation for our troubles....that was 3 weeks ago....still waiting for the vanity and the reimbursement!!! I WILL NEVER recommend this company and I will steer everyone away! read more
