Once lessons started, he patiently worked with our son, taking him from a complete beginner to a competent drummer, able to participate in his school's advanced band. We truly appreciated his flexibility with scheduling, since our son's extracurriculars changed each season. Aaron was prompt and always polite. Our son definitely enjoyed his lessons. What we particularly liked about Aaron was how he approached teaching. Instead of sticking to just one style of music, he had our son playing many different genres of pieces - rock, jazz, classical - and learning to read the accompanying music, as well. We had fun with listening each week to the tunes he chose for our son. Aaron is not at all intimidating, so it was very easy for our son to get right into the lessons. Drummers are generally pretty laid back, so they make for pretty "chill" instructors! All in all, we had a very good experience with Aaron. Our son switched teachers this year, only because he is able to take lessons at his school now. We would absolutely recommend him to others!

I had played a little bit about 20 years ago, but since then I just taught myself online for a few months, but was basically a beginning. My son, at 7 years old, was obviously a beginner. Kris was willing to work with us on a plan that worked for a 2 person lesson, as they typically do private lessons. He hooked us up with Tony, who we love. Tony is patient, is able to teach to both my level and my son's, and even makes an effort to come up with some exercises we can do together. I highly recommend these guys!

Definitely think twice before choosing to buy an instrument with this company. When large multinational corporations buy small, local businesses, the quality always goes down hill. __________________ A small company asking for a very premium price on their horns...BE CAREFUL!! This is a young company, less than 20 years in the horn making business, but they somehow feel entitled to demand a very high price for their horns. I've tried FOUR TIMES to reach someone at this company that knows anything substantial about their horns, and every time I've called, the person I needed to speak to was either not there or unavailable. They are not very forthcoming in explaining how some of their designs are innovative or better than the more well-known brands. I have always gotten nebulous answers like...our horns are more open, our tolerances are better, our horns are more consistent, our overtones are richer, etc. These are all nice explanations to sell horns, but when someone asks them to explain or show why they believe their rotor designs are better, they don't answer. They are not a very transparent company in answering a customer's questions - they even hide their prices from view online. And this lack of openness is a red flag for me, especially when they are asking over $1000 more for the same instrument made by other well--known instrument companies. Bottom line...if you are not getting the answers you need to hear or you are getting very vague answers, that should be a clear sign to keep shopping around.
