I decided to surprise her by taking her violin here, and knowing nothing, Paul took an hour out of his day to explain the different parts of the violin to me, what they do, about her brand of violin, about violin making, and so much more that I was just fascinated by. He was honest about the state of her violin, telling me that getting new hair for her bow wasn't a priority and could definitely wait, and that a comprehensive tune up with a new bridge etc. might be a good option if she decides in the future to improve the overall quality of it. Paul was so nice and easy to talk to, and his passion for these instruments was obvious. He spent time answering my questions, sharing stories, and even showed me his 400 year old viola after telling me about some history of violin-making. It was just an all-around uplifting visit that brightened my whole day, and my girlfriend was absolutely thrilled to come home to her "new" violin. Thanks Paul!!!

I had an open seam and needed a bridge, tailpiece, and general projection adjustment for the summer. The seam was not glued adequately and came undone within months. Both bridge and nut were over-filed and my resonance was just wrong. A twangy A and a wooly C, okay in the middle strings but just not overall sounding like my cello. He said he didn't like my cello. This was incredibly odd to me. I have a great instrument that I'm deeply attached to, albeit it's not one of his $100K+ instruments. I think he wanted to upsell me. The vibe was like he wanted me to trade in a used car. Despite by gut, I gave this place a second chance. My sound post was OFF this time. I took my sweet cello to another luthier who confirmed that he'd done rough work. A lot of small things, fixable, but work that almost seemed pointed to make my sweet, warm, rich cello sound dull and twangy. He charged $500 each time. Another luthier charged $150 to fix all of his poor work and then some. If you love your instrument, try somewhere else.

This CD is truly a blessing from the heavens and delivered to us via the prophet Robert. This is both the greatest album in history, and the greatest album of today. This is what happens when you search through a vault of precious 24 karat gold, and still manage to leave with the highest quality platinum. This CD ruined all other albums for me, nothing else even holds a candle. The beautiful singing, the masterful guitar work, the majestic drumming, God I can't even accurately describe how exquisite it is. I immediately wished to purchase this masterpiece, but as this work of art was so coveted, as at the time there was zero information easily findable on the internet, the store owner and I reached an agreement. We would do research on how much the CD originally sold for and I would later return to this treasure trove to agree on a price. 1 week later I made my return, and after discovering that it originally sold for an affordable 5 U.S dollars, the prophet Robert, in all of his wondrous generosity, let me have it for 10. That is the story of how I obtained the pinnacle of human expression in music form on one, inexpensive, incredible CD.
