History
Established in 2015.
Loudlands began in 2015 as Boston Drum Lessons and Boston Piano Lessons. What started as a way to teach Boston locals how to play the drums has grown into a full-on music school focused on teaching the main instruments used in modern day music making. Since day one, we’ve been sharing the love, passion and fun of expressing yourself through sound.
Meet the Business Owner: Kyle H.
When I was a kid, music was where I turned when life got tough, when I wanted to build relationships, or when I wanted to express more than words could capture. As I got older, I knew I wanted to continue that expression for myself and help others experience it too. Making music is still one of my favorite activities and outlets in the world; I've built my life around it. I’m a teacher, drummer for the Blue Man Group, session musician, and music producer--and the founder of Loudlands Music Lab.
Before we were Loudlands, we were Boston Drum Lessons and Boston Piano Lessons, founded in 2015. The goal was simple: share my passion with the community and help people build a meaningful music hobby. It is beyond exciting to watch people develop confidence and prove to themselves that they have music inside them.
