First of all, I never saw Dr Hajal. I saw Dr Khaleel and was very happy with my visit to her last year. I call the office and the one time I got someone on the line who said yes, our office needs to be listed on your card for you to continue to come here. I call anthem and they dispute that saying I can go to any providers and there's no reason to issue me a new medical card. Since then I have called La Vista multiple times and received no answer. I have left two messages, and gotten no call back. I emailed on the app, No response so I booked an appointment on the app only for it to be canceled today without a reason why. Maybe if someone from their office staff answered the phone, I'd have an answer. Fuck this place and thank you for making me go through the whole process of looking for a doctor again.

Just to start off with, Kaiser or Target or whoever is doing the UI for your online appointment…read morebooking system, GET IT TOGETHER. Your widget doesn't work no matter how I try to log on so you can only do appointments via phone or walk in in person and ask then. Don't even make the online appointment system an option if you can't manage your website correctly. But that's for the online portion and nothing to do with this location. After annoyingly finding out that I can't book a TB test through the Kaiser Permante app (was told that I could, but then it ended up being a blood drawing lab and that's not what I was looking for), I was bounced from the West Covina Medical Office on Sunset since there's no nurses there that can do a TB test for some reason??? At least not in a reasonable time where I didn't miss work, so I was instructed to do a walk in at the Target Kaiser clinic. Located left when you enter in, a bit past the pharmacy. There's a small waiting room with pretty comfy and large chairs and there's motion sensor that chimes and summons a clinician to see you. I had to wait around 30 extra minutes both times, but since this is in a Target and not in a medical building I had the freedom to shop around Target or go get a drink from the Starbucks inside. Genesis was friendly and welcoming in a very light hearted and casual way. None of that stuffy medical office coldness that you usually see when a clinic is super busy. TB test was quickly administered, I came back within the time frame needed 2 days-ish later, getting the read was quick and getting my paperwork quality was easy too. I probably get better care and get treated less like human cattle here than at the other locations.

It was about an hour wait to be seen, which is understandable because they did have a lot of patients, and we were a walk in. Physician Assistant Jose, was super nice and professional, he answered all of our questions and concerns and made sure we understood everything. Evan was also super nice and informative as well, helped answer our questions, and also made sure everything was good before we left. I love the communication this location has with their patients. Which is rare these days. They are also very pleasant and professional. I definitely recommend this place.

The medical assistants doing the BP check and temperature are the most caring people it seems, and a random NP Cuevas, seems to know more how to prescribe meds. At times they have also cancelled my appt without letting me know and then I have to make another appt, awaiting longer than 2mo. This is not good for someone who has diabetes and to run out of meds. My pharmacy calls and they do not answer so I have to come in to see a Dr before my meds are refilled. I wish I could afford to go back to Kaiser or a better office that would care more for their patients. Also seems like they the front office answer or treat people of light color vs minorities, although they are mostly minorities themselves.

Of course not. In my experience, both Jessica and Dr Davis have helped me with my disability forms with no problems. I have had numerous illnesses in the past, and I still struggle with them. When I have concerns , or questions I am able to receive the help fairly easily. I am fortunate that I have had a long history with them so perhaps, this may make a difference. Nevertheless, I believe without my doctors, nurses and staff members I feel I would have never survived without their support and assistance. I am grateful for their care and always will be.

There is a dispensary of free Covid test and fetanyl test strips if you need them. Although the front does not have bike parking, you can come inside and exit to the back where you can lock up your bike near the rails/tree and it's safe there. I enjoyed attending the food demos there and am looking forward to the free African dance classes that are offered on Wed evenings.
