The gate turned out great, exactly as pictured in the online photo we printed off. The color also was perfect. We elected to pay a little extra for a primer coat to be applied by the powder coating company. Ryke is a perfectionist and spent a lot of time during installation to make sure every aspect of the gate was just right. We can definitely recommend Apex Ironworks!

I called them on 6/7/23 at 12:30pm for an estimate. They said they only have one guy that does…read moreestimates in St George, Will. He will give me a call. I called I then called on 6/9/23 asking when Wil might call. They gave me his cell number so I called and he answered. He said he was on a call and would call me back when back to the office in a couple hours. Call did not come. I called the main office and the lady there said she'd call him then for me to call him. I did. He did not answer. Then Will called the next day 6/16/23, when I was in a meeting (first call from him and the one time I was in a meeting). This was 9 days after my initial call. I called back when I could which was maybe 15 minutes later. Of course no answer. I called the office, they put me through to an estimator that was in SLC. He gave me an estimate then said that it could not be held to though as he has not seen the property. Well what good is that estimate then? Anyways, went with someone else. I think this company has too much business for the estimator as he cannot get to new business. They got 2 stars instead of one because the lady that answers the phone was super nice and tried her best to get Will to call me.

We Had Big 4 build a Whisper Creek Home for us. We had nothing but problems!…read moreour 5-6 months project took 2 years, way over budget. No supervision of subs. The excavator they used removed trees he was told not to 15 minutes after he was told not to, placed a 10 in drain directly in the center of the driveway (above ground) and considered it done. The HVAC guys they used installed a furnace 1/3 the size it should have been, with the outside exhaust and intake 2 ft above the ground on the side of the home that the snow was designed to slide off of in a mountain area that tends to get well over 10ft - we had to install a new unit at our expense due to the fact the one they install could not even maintain 56 degrees running 24/7 - They BS'ed the County inspector so they could distract him so he would miss all kinds of things. Like the kitchen hood exhaust flowed more then the allowed volume and should have had an air exchange unit. The outside doors do not have any flashing material - Kevin said there was not room for this :P . We have to most crooked railing around our deck I have ever seen - the boards they used were not dried so the have warped and shrank to the point of falling off in one case. Some of the entry doors stick at different times of the year. The rocks on the fireplace started falling off before they were even done building and have continued on a monthly bases. The footing for the deck were not properly placed so they choose to chisel the wider spots then added concrete to the short sides so they looked better but as anyone even without a contracting license knows this wont last. We asked for a nice 13ft garage double deep so we could fit a Motor Home or trailer in it but they miss measured so our garage that was supposed to be 10 feet wide in back section is only 8 ft wide which can not fit a MoHo or trailer. I could go on for several pages with issues like these but do I really need to? I strongly suggest you find any other builder. Oooh BTW the owner KC does NOT have his contracting license the only one that has it is Kevin and he is best at not following though and making excuses . I will say Kevin tries but he is the only one that does and he alone can only do so much, especially while the owner RARELY is onsite - VERY Rarely!

Reiliabuilt was recommended by the pool company and we called Dave out to give us a proposal. I am not sure about their cost versus anyone else, we were more interested in the work itself. The gazebo was to match the house in style, finish and color (they even matched paint codes from the builder). Of course the HOA decided to stall the project for a few weeks - I guess that's their job or to justify their existence. Once they figured out the 4th version of paperwork was the same as the first and it REALLY WAS what they had asked for, Dave and crew hit the ground running. Start to finish it was a less than a month (including Thanksgiving weekend). They matched the house perfectly and we now had everything we could want! The gazebo had lights, a gas bib and they even added a ceiling fan for us. We are thinking of a cover for the balcony, so I know who we're calling when that time comes up!
