I came looking for a haircut as a walk-in and was surprised that I was in-and-out fairly quickly ( not a long waiting time). The barber that helped me was Gill. He asked what haircut I wanted . I noticed that he took the time to do a good job. He was not rushed. A couple weeks later I returned and Daniel cut my hair this time. Daniel also took his time and did a good job. Thank you guys for taking me as a walk-in and greeting me with a, "Welcome and we'll be right with you". It truly makes a difference when a custumer is greeted. I shall return. read more

First off, I'd like to say that we only ended up going here bcuz my boys were in dire need of a hair cut and their barber shop was closed for the weekend. Never again will I come here, nor do I recommend this place. The door at RCee's reads 'walk-ins welcome' ... which is a damn lie! Walk-ins are COMPLETELY ignored by every barber in this place. If you dont have an appointment, you aren't worth their time! The door should say 'Walk-ins welcome but you will wait +2 hours before being acknowledged!' We waited just over 2 hours before being acknowledged. Can you imagine having 2 kids wait for this amount of time!?... pretty sad right!? Now look at these photos of my son's head. They cant even fade properly. This is ridiculous. $17 PLUS a $5 tip for this crap!? (yeah I still tipped bcuz that's how I was raised) I'm glad this is my youngest son so he really doesn't care but WOW. What a shame! Came here because Yelp said they open at 8am.... I was closed. They had an old sign on the door saying "due to Covid... open at 9am", it also said appointment only. Two important key points that should be on their Yelp . Wasted my time because since Covid started they couldn't update their Yelp. So I'm new to paramount, ca from Las Vegas and finding good barbers are hard to come by. I looked up Rcees because I pass it everyday when I leave my house and the logo is pretty dope and from the outside it looked like a chill spot. So I did some more digging because like I said I don't trust anybody cutting my hair and a week prior another barber from a local shop down the street didn't do a good job. I looked up Rcees on IG and found somebody on his page with the same type of "Hair" tapper, bread and the line up I'm use to getting so I reached out. I sent him a DM on Instagram and he got back in a timely manner and a week later I'm in his chair. Been here twice. Just moved to the area and my biggest problem is always finding the right barber, quality barbershop. Well that problem no longer exists because RCEE'S chop shop is the place for anyone looking for a quality fade. Sure you can go get a hair cut for $3 to $5 cheaper elsewhere but will you be guaranteed satisfaction? Most likely not. Don't mess around with the hair-doo. I had a cut with Danny and my son with Dan. Both are pros. My wife liked Dan's skills so much that she called my sister to bring her son same day. She always takes him to a salon (biggest mistake if you are looking for men/boy fades) and is never really satisfied. She was very satisfied with Dan, so was my nephew. He even looked into the mirror and was wowed (boy doesn't really care or like haircuts). She will now bring her other son in soon. That is 4 new customers with my first great experience. Forgot to mention you can make an appointment if you prefer one barber and don't want to wait but the wait time is not horrible. I used to have to wait an hour or more. This place has 6+ barbers at a time, quality barbers not John Doe who pretends he knows how to chop. Clean, professional, skilled, New era chop shop. That's what made me write this review. I've been here probably 10 times, this last visit was it for me. The customer service sucks. Come on guys acknowledgement is that to much to ask. You walk in and no one says oh you got a couple guys ahead of you or it's going to be 20 minutes or 30 minutes. Just blank looks. So I sit down and they were probably about 7 or 8 barbers in for the day. After waiting 30 plus minutes they start calling names. No one asked me for my name when I walked in so I walk up to the counter and ask you guys are taking names? And the kid at the counter says you didn't put your name down. I said no nobody told me or even said anything to me when I walked in. He said I can put your name down now. I told him for the people walked in after me now I have to wait after them I said forget it and I'm never coming back. The owner was pretty cool the last couple times but this is the second or third time something like this is has happend. I first started coming here and because they had good reviews. But obviously the team doesn't care about customer service. I would pay higher prices just to get a little customer service. This rating is solely based on their lack professionalism and customer service. Although I do want to mention there are a couple barbers that are good at what they do. Now for my review on this place. Why exactly did you become barbers? Everything about your job is about providing a service with an excellent customer experience. No one greets you or even utters a word, until it's your turn. At least say, "hey will be with you in just a moment". 4 barbers just left having clients waiting and even one said they were going to get breakfast. Really dude?! This isn't the first time this has happened. Suggestion to the owner and the barbers. If you're not willing to take on walk-ins then put an appointment only sign. Simple. As a cosmetologist I would NEVER treat my clientele the way these barbers do. I also know barbers that wouldn't do the same. So why drive your business away? We won't be coming back. I used to go this barbershop before, but stopped going because of the bad service. Overall I've had some good cuts here, but the customer service experience is terrible. Unless you are a good friend of one of the barbers, the type that randomly drops in just to hang out every week, you will barely be acknowledged. Also, they do not do a good job of letting you know where you stand in line. Multiple times I have had to wait more than an hour in anticipation of being next, just to see one of the barber's friends walk thru the door and cut straight to the front because they had an "appointment." I'm not saying that appointments are bad, but what I am saying is that a good barbershop treats all their clients well and lets them know where they stand in line. read more

I was in the Los Angeles area for the months of June and July. And this time around, I went straight to RCee's whenever I needed a haircut. Tapers, line-ups, fresh cuts - I was never disappointed. Owner and barber, Rob is definitely my go-to guy. Although they have about a dozen or so other barbers, I felt most comfortable and confident with Rob. Personable, a master with the razor and clippers, the man has skills. Thursday, Friday, and Saturday are probably the worst days for walk-ins. All barbers take appointments. During the week is probably your best bet to get in without a wait. Moderately priced, a bunch of real good guys, you can't go wrong coming here. I can't stress enough how legitimate these guys are. As someone who is a creature of habit and routine - I feel at ease to know that when I'm on the West Coast, I have a barber to take care of me. Stop by Rcee's and you won't regret it! read more

One: I was spending too much on my short hairstyle haircuts at Fantastic Sams. The only reason I even went to Fantastic Sams was because one of the people could do what I wanted pretty good. I didn't always get that person, so it was a gamble if my haircut would good. I do not trust most people who say they can cut hair after my experiences. So I asked where a friend of mine got his hair cut since his are ALWAYS legit. He told me about this place, so I decided I try it out. Long story short, I got a perfect cut - better than I've ever had. And, I paid less than Fantastic Sams even after the tip! Needless to say, I'll be coming here from now on. read more

Rcees is a great place for an up to date haircut. They accept walkins but they also take appointments. I personally recommend Robert the owner he is very down to earth and humble. I took my son to cut his hair and he gave him a new style. My son loved it. I did have to get some practice on combing my sons hair to recreate the same look that Robert did. All the barbers are super cool and do great work. They get very busy but it's worth it!!! read more

I can now say I've been to two great barbers in my lifetime. RCee, the owner of this barbershop, is one of the two. He is a great guy, good to talk with while you get your cut, and above all a well seasoned barber. After all, he's been doing it for a while as he explained to me. The shop itself is spacious, has a bit of a trendy feel to it as you'll see the walls adorned with mustaches, beards, and other barbering tools. The rest of the staff looks like a good group of guys, and from what I could see they can all give a good cut. Overall, it was a decent experience. I appreciate that RCee listened to how I wanted my hair cut, and he also did a great job in shaping my out of control beard. There was one minor disappointment though. Sadly, there was a miscommunication about how I wanted my mustache groomed, and so it was diminished from a bushy lip guard to an almost mere strip of hair above my lip. I immediately felt my look was ruined, but the rest of his work was able to capture most of what I wanted. He charged me less than what he was supposed to, and I just want to believe the discount was given because of that minor discrepancy. If so, I'm grateful and respect that, because it shows how much he cares about customer satisfaction. Based on my experience I would likely come back. read more

I'm going to keep this short, details and simple. The place is nice, most of the barbers cut good hair, I've had my haircut by most of them, Robert, Uriel/Ariel and Manny, just about all of them except the owner. Major complaint that people make which I have to agree on, this place has horrible customer service and it's no surprise they're not as busy as they used to be. Most barbers only do appointments, and while you have a barbershop full of clients because they state they clearly take walk-ins, most barbers are just chillin, talking to each other, waiting for appointments or planning their lunches, horrible customer service. This is the definition of bad management, and when they do cut your hair they do it in a bad mood, sometimes, as if it's such a hassle for them to take time out of their very busy day to cut a "regular" guys hair. Other than that the place is not to bad. I don't expect a barber to bend over backwards for me, but at the end of the day I am paying for the services, I would appreciate more recognition as a customer. read more
