Really bad service & Racists! My son asked for a hair cut they told him $30. As he was walking out he heard the guys laughing. Then my husband asked a young guy outside how much he normally pays he told him $20. So just because my son is black they need to charge more smh! In this area barber shops have to step their game up. I've been to all the good ones. I've also been to some bad ones. Case in point the one down the street from here. Barber Shop 2000, stay away from it. In fact, try it and then come back here for the comparison. This spot doesn't look like much from the exterior. Walk inside and there's plenty of dark wood. As in the flooring, cabinets, etc. It's wide open space. They have comfortable couches. The barbers actually have old school chairs. There's about six barbers in here. They specialize in fades, lineups, Ronaldo's gay ass Mohawks, pretty much anything current. The prices are very good too. Ive been back three times. read more

This place is seriously unprofessional. The last time I went, there was a drunk guy with two girls in the sofa, drinking at 12:00 or 1:00 pm of the day. Come on, this is not a bar, its a barbershop. That was the last day I went to that barbershop. Seriously, stay away from this place. It sometimes reek of marijuana, they choose their friends over their customers to cut their hairs and the place has a nasty, unprofessional atmosphere. Poor customer service. A customer who has been to this location before, this time around I have received the worst service. Not only did the barber not listen to the specific and simple directions to leave the top part of my child hair long but what it seemed deliberately went for his hairline? Came in at 2:29 on Sat.. barber asked me if I had an appointment and I told him no. He then told me they were closed and I told him the sign said 3. He said he stopped taking walk ins at 2:30.. pointed out that it was exactly 2:30 at this point. He answered with "the gate is already down". He was referring to the gates being slightly pulled out indicating they were closing. What a joke of a barber/business. I only came because my regular place was closed Sundays. Its 6:25 I just got back from there, after a 20 minute drive in each direction for nothing. They decided to close at 6 tonight... actually, 5:55 - I know because thats what the clock in my car read when I had started my car back up to turn around and sit right back in traffic for nothing. I asked the dude as he started closing the security gate if he could cut me but he said he was about to leave right now too. Meanwhile, I'm pretty sure the door we were talking in front of displayed hours of 8a.m. - 7 p.m. I said to him too, "y'all close at 7 though, right?" No response. Okay, I get it, barbers from a barbershop in the hood (or right next to one) aren't the most professional bunch. But, damn when you got a customer at the door at 5:54 and the shop is supposed to be open till 7 and turn him away, that's a new low. 2 stars - because the shop is never really open by 8 a.m., appointments cost an extra $5 and the barber is almost never ready to cut you at the agreed upon time-- but you're still getting charged and now they close early if its slow. So instead of saving myself time by trying to dodge a wait and coming in on Monday evening, I just wasted the time and effort The one upside here, I've tried about half the barbers and, I got my two favorites, but everyone can cut pretty well. read more

Please wash your hands! They reeked of weed and they were sweaty as all get out! Really ruined what normally is a very pleasurable experience for me, it took an hour for a trim and beard line up with razor. After having my hair cut once or twice a month for the better part of 50 yrs., by professional barbers, this is the first time I've had someone charge an extra $5, atop the $15 price listed, because they had to "use scissors" (quote, unquote). Perhaps they don't understand what a barber does? Or perhaps they need to change their name from the "Chop Shop' to what it appears to actually be... the "Clip Joint". Love this shop, everyone is really chill. Nice vibe inside the shop, they have a bunch of cool stuff inside and it isn't cramped like most barbershops. They have nice/comfy couches while you wait, plus a big screen usually has a game going or sportscenter. They have the lot to themselves so there's always parking plus they have a basketball court outside as well. Overall a great experience, definitely worth checking out! read more

I had never been here, until the other day. I had such a GREAT feeling in there, ALL the guys seem really nice. I was only able to briefly speak with one of them, the sole barber in the left hand corner, as I was amazed at how well he worked with a little 4 year old young man, getting his haircut. The 4 yr old and I became buddies, gave him a couple bucks so he can continue playing his favorite hunting game while his dad got a haircut, LOL...but the Barber he had, the one in the left hand corner, the only chair on that side, was awesome, and cordial. ALL the guys had a great disposition, and it was just a "fun" atmosphere. I can't really explain it, you just have to experience it. :-) read more

been coming here since 09 and came in for a nice clean up for a very important meeting i had and this guy edwin not sure if hes new or not but completely butchered my hair, made me look real stupid on a very important day, uneven fade was the worst thing aside from chopping off the length on my slicked back disconnected undercut. theyve always been top notch with their barbers chuy, alex, beans, ruben, etc. always been 200% satisfied and didnt care if i waited long or was last in the shop and happy to tip generously for their work couse it was worth it but this kid edwin seemed lazy, distracted, and incompetent and kind of airheaded. not worth the sh*t incorrect haircut, cant afford to look ridiculous at work again, taking my business elsewhere from now on. read more

Well first of all let's start off with the little good. They had quite a bit of barbers and wait time wasn't much at all. I went with the guy closest to the entrance on your right. I have never had any problems like I did here with my hair cut. While he was doing my line up the blade from the machine was biting my skin. I let him know and all he did was put some spray and kept going at it. It started to feel like I was getting at tattoo. At the end my hair line was so red! He even asked me if I wanted aftershave and he didn't even use a razor! When it burned I knew there was a problem. Obviously I didn't tip him and he's lucky I even paid. Told him to check his machine on my way out and he pretended like he didn't know what he had done. I wasn't even going to post anything but it's been 24 hours and I still have marks on my skin. I didn't take any photos because I was embarrassed and trying to find way to treat these burns/cuts. I will never be going back there again and hope this guy gets checked because it made the whole shop look bad! read more

Always get a good cut by Andrew Z. Only knock on him is that he's a Green Bay Packer fan. Other than that, he always hooks me up with some cleans tapers and fades. I always have a problem with other barbers fading me up too high when I specifically say "low fade." Andrew and the other barbers here get it right every time. read more

Only reason they even got stars is because there a few good barbers left here. However the last couple times I've gone in it's been during their slow times and a lot of the barbers sit around on the barber chairs on their phones or watching tv. Then when you ask if they're available they either say they have "appointments" coming in or they act like if they're bothered that you'd ask such a question. I've sat and watched people also come in and it seems as if they're not already expecting you, they won't even acknowledge that you even walk in. Sucks to see a shop with some good barbers(not all) have very poor customer service. I know a it of friends and family that have gone to other barber shops because the customer service here has seriously gone down the drain. read more
