I cannot stress enough how amazing of a job Stitch Wiz did in helping me transform both of these…read moredresses into the lovely gowns you see before you. They truly made my birthday wishes come true and brought my vision to life!I wish I had taken "before" pictures of them prior to the alterations, because needless to say, they were both total eyesores and felt like a complete waste of money. I purchased them off Fashion Nova hoping the quality would live up to the advertisements. However, the white dress's boning had no integrity and kept folding into itself, and the breast cups were bizarrely sewn onto the outside of the dress. The gold dress provided absolutely no support for my bust, and the cups were so far apart I couldn't even work with them. On top of that, the train didn't connect in a way that complimented my body--instead of a clean slit, it had a badly folded pleat leading into the train. To make matters worse, I was trying to pull off a photoshoot for my 21st birthday. I couldn't afford to buy any more dresses, and I was running out of time to figure it all out. When I first came in for my consultation, I felt so uncertain of myself. But as we talked through ideas and mapped out a rough plan, their support and reassurance gave me total confidence in their abilities. When I returned for the final fitting, I was completely speechless by how perfect the alterations were. They removed some of the boning on the white dress and did a complete 180 on the top, giving it a seamless finish where the cups no longer showed. For the gold dress, they completely redid the slit and brought the breast cups closer together. It is safe to say their work speaks for itself!

I was shocked when I took a dress to my long-time alterations place and found it is closed and for…read moresale. They did such great work and were so reasonably priced that I knew I was not going to have an easy time replacing them. So I researched through Yelp. (As a Yelper, it only made sense!) I decided on Stitch Wiz in the Berkshire Plaza at Broadway and Camino Seco. Finding the shop was a bit difficult, but part of that was operator error (mine). The shop's name was over a side area and I walked the whole length of it, not finding the shop. So I called and the owner came out to find me. How embarrassing - the store was right in front of my parking space! I brought in a dress that I loved the top half of. It has pleats and fancy stitching and I loved the cinched waist. What I wanted was to have the skirt (which was losing its hem anyway), to be cut off and hemmed a few inches below the waist. I picked it up today and it was perfect. I now have a gorgeous top with a peplum bottom. The price was fair and I am happy to have found my new alterations shop.

I needed some collared shirts embroidered with our company logo for some new employees and thought…read moreI would come to Clarissa's Logo Productions off of a recommendation from a colleague. Clarissa and her team are very easy to work with and upon receiving the shirts that I ordered, I was extremely satisfied with the end result. The turnaround time was also fast! Clarissa's also keeps a variety of shirts in stock (make/female) and if they don't have a specific item, they can order it for you. The entire team that I encountered during the ordering and pick up process were friendly and professional. They have definitely earned a life-long customer in us. If you're in need of embroidery, make it a point to come here! Two thumbs and two toes WAY up for Clarissa's! Happy hunting, my Yelpers!

In short, I was in a time crunch to get a single hat embroidered and the team surpassed all of my expectations. They were very straight forward and transparent throughout the process. I requested a quote Monday morning, dropped my hat off by the afternoon, and they returned it at end of the day on Thursday. They openly communicated with me between then through email and sent a .PDF of the mock up including the digital rendering to ensure the design was to my satisfaction. I requested a few minor changes such as font spacing and placement, and despite my OCD they openly accommodated my request. The job came out to only $10 which was one heck of a deal to be honest. I couldn't be happier with the professionalism, quality and experience! Thank you so much!

I've been using this cleaner for the past 3 years or so. Things are great when Rebecca is there…read moreas her customer service skills are exceptional, which is something the young person there definitely lacks. Not only is he not pleasant but he is condescending when you are trying to ask questions. The last 3 visits which are weekly I noticed that my board shorts come back very wrinkled and almost look they have not been dry cleaned the last time about a 2 weeks ago I asked the individual to please have them redone. When I went to pick up it they looked the same. He said I can resend and I said I am going out of town and need so he offered 1/2 off but said the manager may disagree and ask for the 1/2 off returned. This morning, my husband went to drop of my things off and was told by the young person that I need to go somewhere else. Absolutely amazing, but what is more interesting is I've noticed for about a year that they are doing less and less dry cleaning and laundry as not alot of folks using them anymore. I wonder why!
