I just move on, but was so…read moredisappointed and disheartened at my dog's first grooming after moving back to Iowa from The Groom Station in West Branch, Iowa and not hearing back from the owner in response to my disappointment, that I feel the need to do so, for whatever it is worth. Not with $20 let alone $126. Here are pics of her recent groom job yesterday. I asked that they keep her long and that didn't happen and instead even shaved her bald in sections and very uneven everywhere. She didn't even have any mats yet, but that was her excuse. The pics don't even do it justice. Update: The owner did reach out and refunded the visit. She did want me to bring my dog back in for her to see (which I initially took offense to as if she didn't believe the obvious pictures but that is not why according to her).By then it would not look exactly the same since I had to do something to try to even things out while it grew out and I didn't want to cause my dog undue stress since I was not going to have anyone else mess with her at this time.. Luckily, it will grow back and eventually be back to normal but would be hard for me to be okay with same shop even with different groomer at this point.

I'm VERY protective of my furbabies, so no random one would do. Researching multiple ones, I decided to give Fur-iendly Grooming a try. They were so nice on the phone and had a cancelation the very next day that we grabbed up. They only had my little one for about two hours and had her looking AMAZING! Her previous groomer had her anywhere from 7-11 hours and never completed her legs or face. They also said my pup was sweet, gave kisses and wanted to be picked up during bath time - only thing she fought on was her nails. I'm definitely keeping Fur-iendly Grooming as my pets fur-care!

We rescued our dog just a few days ago and he was in desperate need of a groom. Nervous, I told her ahead of time that I didn't know what to expect as far as his temperament. When we walked in for our appointment, Benji immediately wagged his tail and wanted Karin's attention. Obviously he could tell she's an animal lover. Based on his initial reaction to her I was a little more at ease. He did very well for his first visit! We made another appointment for a few weeks from now so that Benji can (at minimum) get another bath. Very nice grooming facility on Karin's property. You aren't going to see a bunch of dogs in cages, waiting their turn. I appreciate this a lot because our pup is still extremely nervous, especially loud noises and sudden movements. As a new client, Karin was able to get us scheduled very quickly. I did have flexibility in my schedule, so this helped. Automated text reminders and you can schedule services online. I highly recommend Fur-iendly, but more importantly, Benji does.

The groomers here are great and we get our Shihzu groomed for a very great price. We also use the bath station which is extremely affordable and helpful that it has an enclosure since we have 2 pups, one can wait while the other is getting bathed. This is the only store that carries the bull tails that my pups like and so they also have a great selection of chews and treats. We get our fur children food here and if you get a large bag of food, you get a pet wash token (worth it). The owners are super kind and always great to talk to. We recommend Muddy Puppy to anyone and everyone.

While sitting there another groomer came to work; so at least two people knew we were there. No respect for her clients. Don't waste your time here. Yuppy Puppy fit me and my dog, Percy, in for a last-minute emergency grooming after Percy stuck his…read moreface into burrs during a trail hike and came out so matted that I could not figure out where his ears began and fur ended. Kailey handled Percy gently and skillfully--so much so that even though he was uncomfortable from the matted fur and had never been to a groomer before, he came out free of burrs and with his tail wagging. I don't recommend grooming emergencies, but I do recommend Yuppy Puppy! Their care and attentiveness to the comfort of the dog made what could have been frightening into an adventure. I will definitely bring Percy here again (though, I hope, not because of another run-in with burrs).
