They are reasonably priced and always go above and beyond working with your schedule. My puppy has grown and matured socially by going here. He has learned how to be comfortable around other dogs and we even interact better. I selected 1/2 day care because it worked best with my schedule and also felt at the time it was best suited for my young puppy. Most important is HE LOVES GOING! He whimpers and cries all the way there in the car then bolts running to the door with excitement. It's so cute! He never does that anywhere else we go. I've also used their grooming services and Jenn has done an amazing job both times. She has such patience and cares how about how comfortable the dog is. I really appreciate that. We'll definitely be back next summer!

Instead, an employee was sitting at a small table in the lobby .I waited about 3-5 minutes, but still, no one came to greet me, standing there I noticed to lobby was a little dirty and smelly. Decided to leave and come back another time . As I turned around, I noticed something concerning (see attached photo). I commented, "Wow, that's not safe," and the employee casually responded, "Yeah, that's been like that for a couple of months now. I hope they fix it soon." That was all I needed to decide not to come back. What really sealed it for me was learning that they board dogs overnight--with that same door left unlocked. That's a major safety concern.

I have used the emergency services here several times for minor, after hours situations with my…read moredogs. I also took my sweet boy Rusty here for ICU care after my Cedar Rapids vet removed an 11 lb mass with his spleen! My vet's office felt he needed overnight monitoring for complications after surgery, so I transported him there for that. Although my boy did not survive, I was extremely happy with the care he received there. They were in constant contact with me, and answered all of my questions. Their ICU unit is set up very well, keeping staff literally in the room with the patient. I was called even in the middle of the night when complications arose, was made to feel very welcome about visiting, and when my Rusty passed away, their compassion was extremely helpful. They actually performed CPR until we could get there to let our boy go. They placed my husband and I in a private room with him, and spent as much time with us as we needed. We never felt rushed or bothered. They were kind enough let us talk and share stories about our Rusty with them, and that actually helped me more than I can say. Their prices I have found to be much more reasonable than another emergency after hours veterinary office I have gone to that is much closer to my home, but their quality of care and compassion are much greater. I highly recommend!!! 7/19/18...Somehow the above review never was completed to get posted. Well we are here again this evening with our 7 year old boxer Zella who has had bleeding from her mouth. The service here is outstanding, from the front desk staff, to the technicians, to the amazing veterinarians themselves...even in the midst of this pandemic. I begged her pleading to end the suffering to no avail. She told me we could go to Des Moines which is two hours away or Bettendorf which is an hour away. My cat ended suffering excruciating pain and we had to watch without helping him. It was the worst thing I've ever witnessed and hope it never happens again.
