BEWARE!!! I chose this place to repair my Jeep after I was in an accident on March 7th because of the amazing recent reviews. I don't agree with any of the ones I read, except the most recent one that suggested Rene may have been drunk. Unfortunately, I didn't see that review before I made the decision to have my Jeep delivered to this "business". On the day of my accident, I called several shops and was told by each one that they couldn't receive my undrivable vehicle because they were so backed up. When I called RC Collision, I spoke with Rene and he said it would take him a couple weeks, but I could bring it there for now. I expected I would be waiting a bit for an estimate, as all the shops seemed to be backed up, so I was patient for the two weeks he needed. I called back to check on the status of the estimate the insurance company need and got no response. I tried several more times over the next couple weeks and no return call, no estimate, no email. After 4 weeks and many attempts to contact, I went to his shop at 5pm. His posted hours were til 5:30, but the shop was closed, no one anywhere. I did see that my vehicle was there, but just sitting in an open parking lot shared with several other businesses in the center where his shop is located. It was not stored with any security at all. I kept calling until I got someone to answer the phone, and Rene acted like he had no idea why my vehicle was there, and he had no direction on what to do with it. This was after I had left several detailed phone messages with my phone number, email address and instructions for sending over an estimate as well as my insurance person's phone and email information. He seemed confused and started with the excuses that he didn't know how his phone worked and had to fire a guy for stealing, and lost his receptionist. He promised to get right on getting me an estimate (now that my car was sitting there for over a month), but his internet was down at the shop and he was going to go right home so he could have internet. He promised both me and my insurance person an estimate by 10 am the next morning (April 12th). I again left him with my email and my insurance person's email and asked him to send the estimate to us both. Guess what didn't happen before 10 am? He called me around 7 pm with more excuses and told me it would be about $13,000 to fix my car, but needed my email and just didn't know how to contact my insurance person. By the time I heard back from him, I already was working on getting my car transported to another shop as I had no faith that this guy was even sober, or had the capability to even get me an estimate let alone the ability to fix my vehicle. I again left him a message because I couldn't get him to answer the phone to let him know I was moving my Jeep. When the tow truck arrived, (on April 17th...6 weeks after it was originally dropped off!!), Rene was there and refused to let them take it. The tow company conveyed that message to my insurance person who told me. My husband then went out to the lot to be present when the tow truck came to avoid further problems and Rene denied that a tow truck was ever there when my husband asked him about it. The tow company couldn't come out again unless they were sure he was going to release the vehicle. They kept trying to call, and never got anyone to answer the phone. My insurance person, who has gone above and beyond even though she is the agent for the person who hit me, also let me know that he had no reason to keep the vehicle. She said that she had paid him $3,800 for storage that he initially said he wasn't going to charge because it took him so long to get to my car. He must have seen a paycheck from the insurance company when he heard I was moving my vehicle. He still refused to release my Jeep when the tow company offered to pay any balance due, so I am sure he charged them for another 7 days of "storage". He kept my vehicle for another week parked in the communal lot before we could finally get it moved. He also charged the insurance company for storage for the whole time my Jeep was there. He is not honest nor trustworthy, and possibly involved in a bit of insurance fraud with the way he "did business" with me. Do not turn your vehicle over to him! He will hold it hostage for much longer than necessary. It will cost you time, effort and big $$$. My car was finally towed to a reputable repair shop and I had an estimate within 24 hours of my Jeep's arrival. read more

ABSOLUTELY THE WORST SHOP EVER!! A TOTAL SCAM AND A RIP OFF! DO NOT COME! To make a long story short, i went to Rc Collision because they had decent reviews and were the only shop at the time that would take my car even though i was a bit skeptical because of the few bad reviews it had. Turns out all those reviews are justified he isn't professional at all. When picking up my 2022 brand new camry that i bought in june 2022, i noticed he did not fix any of the repairs needed to be fixed besides the dent and to top it off HE DID NEW DAMAGES TO MY CAR. He completely scrapped both left side wheels from a curb and placed some short of machine on top of my car that gave it while swirl marks. He says he'll offer to fix it but he doesn't actually do it, i've been going back and fourth with him for months. He's told me that he has footage of my car before i took it because he thinks i did the damages to my own car. What he doesn't tell you is that HE saw the footage and deleted it. Because it showed that he indeed messed up my car and will not reimburse me in any way and THIS ISN'T happening to just me, i talked to a few other customers and THEY ALL Told me that when they picked their car up, they had seen NEW DAMAGES on it as well. He's pretty consistent with messing up peoples cars and not reimbursing them in anyways, as well as taking forever with no updates whatsoever. This sums up Rene as a person and body shop owner. - Very unprofessional will lie to you about deadlines and keep on giving you false information - He does not give updates on your car, it is not a priority to him he does them in whatever order he wants and switches from day to day - Doesn't text or call you for anything, unless it benefits him. so be prepared to be ghosted - He seems drunk half the time and has a really bad side when things do not go his way - Will lie to you however many times it takes to make you stop bugging him - Will make your car worse than it already is, you will find new damages - Team is untrustworthy just as he is - He will try to find after market parts and put them on your car and say "they're OEM" - He will also NOT give you the receipt of all parts used, bought, and put on your car. - Tell you he's doing something to get your car fixed but isn't actually doing anything for it - Untrustworthy in every way possible He openly admitted to me that he lies to his customers on purpose because he wants to give them what they want to hear, even if it isn't true. He also admitted that a random person robbed his shop recently which is why he had to start locking his own doors and place bars on them, AS WELL AS AN EMPLOYEE who's been stealing stuff from him. As a seller of a product purchased by Rene through his business, I can say he does not pay debts he owes. He purchased a product from me, filed a claim against me due to shipping delays, and then when the product arrived two days later he still failed to pay for his purchase. I had a horrific scratch in my brand new 2018 Ford Escape. Someone had scratched my driver side door all the way to the metal. I was devastated that my new car had such a scratch. My dad and I took my car to RC Collision Center and showed Rene the scratch. He told us he could make it look prettier, but it wouldn't be perfect. You would still see the scratch, since it was pretty deep, but he'd make it harder to see. Well he did just that!! When my dad went to pick the car up after he worked on it he asked my dad to point it out and my dad pointed to the wrong location! RC Collisions did such an amazing job filling in the scratch that it is almost impossible to point out. I'd like to thank RC Collisions for making my brand new car pretty again! I recently backed my 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe into a short post. It was dark, but I swear it was the post's fault :) In any case, when attempting to extricate the car from the post, it pulled on the rear bumper. The result were gaps in both sides where the bumper meets the car's body. Thought I was looking at a very expensive repair. But Rene fixed it, including replacing a part beneath the bumper, for $250. The bumper is on tight, and you'd need a very close inspection to notice any damage. In my experience, he's reliable, honest, and a master craftsman. I'm very grateful. read more

I'm going to give Rene 2 stars because he's a good person when he wants to be but when it comes to fixing your car I wouldn't take it to him. I've worked with him on and off for 6 years. I've never seen him treat someone else's car the way he did to my dads Maserati. We brought the Maserati to him in November/December 2020 to have the front bumper fixed. The grill had to go to someone else to have it fixed and painted (which turned out great) That place is on Rene's way to work and home. Rene also brought the bumper to have the grill fit before putting it back on the car. Long story short that grill sat there ready to go for 5 weeks yet when we asked Rene to go get the grill and bumper he made my dad and I go get it. Rene has a truck we did not but since he refused and told us to go get it we did. One the short 5 minute drive from the painters to Rene it ended up scratching the bumper and grill because Rene didn't want to go get it like he should have. So... Rene had to fix the bumper yet AGAIN. My dad and I decided it's time to pick the car up. It looked like complete shit. We were called names and got screamed at by Rene because he said he didn't have time to make it right, mind you we picked the car up in May 2021. I'm pretty sure 5-6 months is enough time to fix a bumper. He never used the $400 car cover that was provided the whole time he had the car. He never used the battery tender that was also provided for him. We ended up buying a new battery because it was dead when we picked it up. After all that he wanted to make things right by fixing it so we agreed to have him fix it, clean it and let us enjoy the car. Well... we were promised new lights, clean detail inside and out and guess what guys?!?!?! That never happened!!! We were promised it would be done in 3 days when we brought it back to him the second time and it took him 2 weeks. We picked the car up dirty yet again and pry marks from him taking the bumper on and off the car. No I do not recommend going to RC Collision. read more

Most unprofessional experience Ive ever had with a business. Rene would text me asking for more money as time went on while also needing more and more time. When the parts were finally "complete" I had to work in his shop to finish putting my pieces back together. When I got home to start putting them back on the truck I noticed the mirrors where painted incorrectly (even after talking with him on how to paint them before) upon calling Rene he ended the phone call with "I don't want to paint your shit anymore" and hung up the phone. This led to weeks of trying to get my money back from the mirrors. Rene wouldn't talk to me when I came back to his shop to straighten things out, when he would he full on screamed at my friend and I about things out of our control. I had multiple people come with me when it required going back to his shop, and he yelled at and disrespected every one of them. Finally after weeks I got my money back and I took my parts to a professional to get the work done correctly. Im already getting his work redone as it wasn't done correctly from the parts he did do. I wouldn't recommend this shop to anyone, save your money and time and go to a professional. read more

I was in an accident where my frame shifted but my car was still driveable but started leaking water into my car. I took it to Rene to seal the leakage and he patched it up the best to his ability because the accident did such damage, the problem won't completely go away without a complete rebuild of the frame which would have cost thousands. Over the years both the front and rear bumpers on my Hyundai Genesis had collected a bunch of scrapes and dents. Other shops quoted me $1900 to $2100 to replace/repair those, whereas Rene charged me $1200 and did an outstanding job. He even fixed a few rock hits and branch scratches on my hood and side door! He called my husband a whiny bitch when he asked why nothing had been done. We prepaid to have the work done because he told my husband he needed the money for his SHOP RENT. HUGE MISTAKE HUGE. Then he called my husbands work and told them that our Jeep was in the middle of his parking lot and to come get it or it would be towed. He left the keys in it. When we got there the Jeep was not in running condition. He took the battery out and it was all taken apart. It was in total disarray. The absolute worst experience I have ever had in my life. The parts delays we are experiencing in this country have nothing to do with this review. Rene, the shady owner of this shop, has lied to me every week for 2 out of the 4 months it has been in his shop about my car being done after my accident. Every week I was told it would be done the end of that week. They blatantly lied to me one month and told me my car was already assembled and just ready to be painted, but when I came into the shop it was completely dismantled with 2 red bull cans sitting on top of the car. Since then, (that was 2 months ago) I finally confronted him about lying to me, to which he cussed me out and hung up the phone on me. Now he refuses to talk to me, and will only respond when I have State Farm contact his business and even then, he refuses to contact me directly. Also he has refused to finish my car after that interaction, and is going to release the car back to me without a seatbelt and knee airbag. I have never had a business owner be so unprofessional in my life, and my car is basically being held hostage while I wait for him to release it to me. The most unprofessional and disrespectful experience I have ever had in my life, and he has so many wrecked cars in his parking lot there is nowhere to park, as he just takes on more work without actually finishing the cars he had started on. Stay far away from this shop if you care about your car. Edit: after seeing this review Rene threatened if he didn't get payment for the seatbelt and airbag he would not give me my car back, even though he had told me he was done and would release it to me without the air bag and seatbelt. This man is completely insane, he cannot be trusted and he also screamed at my state farm claims rep when they called and asked about it. read more

In the past year, I have taken each of my sons' vehicles to RC Collision for repair. In the case of the first one, I had a hand in the dent so it was on me to get it repaired. In both cases, the repairs were minor but, based on other estimates, would significantly exceed the $500 deductible. In each case, Rene' said he could do the work for less even though it involved repainting a fender in one case and a door in the other. I really enjoy working with Rene'. He is honest, his price cannot be beat and the work is excellent. With the second vehicle, the work took an extra day because Rene' wanted to redo a portion to meet his standards. I got into my first car accident, and calling it a fender bender would be an understatement... more like a fender crusher. The car was mangled and essentially everything was falling off the front just to paint a picture. An Aveo vs a hitch...wasn't a pretty picture. I was overwhelmed in knowing how to deal with the whole situation from the mechanical aspect to how to handle my insurance. Essentially I was in a tizzy, and I got to RC Collision and Renae helped me not only get the best price on the materials to patch up my car to get it drivable again (he even called multiple parts places and haggled for me), he also helped me through the motions of how to handle the incident with my insurance company. He really went out of his way to help me in any way he could and even offered to give me a ride home. He patched up my car in a day, and got it back on the road not even 24 hours later in perfect working condition. And honestly, it almost looks cooler now than it did before the accident. Now I got a custom one of a kind RC car! I don't think anyone could have been more helpful through the whole ordeal. Happy I happened upon this spot and I very highly recommend. This was one of the worst experiences I've had with a business. My wife brought our van in to replace our front bumper and was given a price by the owner Rene. A few days later we called him to let him know we would like to proceed and to go ahead and order the replacement part. He told us it would take about a week to get in. So a week and a half go by with no word so I called him to get an update and he told me that he still hadn't received it yet but would check on it and get back to me. No call back for another week. So I called him again. This time when I talked to him and he told me he didn't have it yet I pressed him for more information. So he finally came clean and said he never ordered it and that he was so busy that he didn't know when he could get around to it. So we wasted 2 and a half weeks waiting for him to get our van in to fix it all for nothing! read more
