It was replaced…read moreapproximately four months ago, and since then it has sustained three rock chips from what appeared to be very small rocks. The most recent chip occurred without any noticeable impact--I did not even hear the rock strike the windshield. I only discovered the damage because it was directly in my line of sight. Because this is a fleet vehicle, it is possible that the fleet management company authorized the installation of a lower-cost windshield rather than one that meets the original equipment quality standards. Based on my experience, the windshield does not appear to be as durable as the factory-installed glass.

They said my car was different from most (2018) and needed a recalibration that required an in shop 3 hour replacement. I asked for and received a refund since I was not waiting 3 hours inside a very depressing waiting area. So once home I did a search and found a good company. I made an appointment for the next day and they came to my HOME for the repair. So I don't have any travel time. They were $250 cheaper than Safelite for the replacement and it took them 1 1/2 hours. SHINE auto glass did a good job at a far price at my home!
