At that time he didn't think the roof would qualify for replacement, so he suggested to wait.Unlike another roofing company who tried to rush us into getting a new roof knowing insurance was not going to approve. A year later a major leak in the roof causing water damage inside the house. I called Jeremy and he came immediately and found where the leak was coming from. Did a temporary fix and said the roof was worse than it had been the last time he was on it. Suggested we start the claim process fora new roof as well as repair of ceiling where the water had came through. My insurance agent of 25 years called me about 2 weeks before my insurance ended with American National and told me I needed to get a new roof. I did not have time to research or find a roofer so I completely trusted my insurance agent. He put me in touch with the adjuster and with Jeremy Newkirk. Jeremy was professional, kind, helpful, patient and the best contractor I've ever worked with in 25 years. He was able to get me a new roof which had upgraded shingles and upgraded gutters installed in under 2 weeks. His crew was polite, worked hard, very neat and did an amazing job! I chose to do an upgraded shingle which is a class 4 Owens Corning impact resistant shingle with synthetic underlayment. Jeremy also ran the calculations and added some extra vents on my roof which I think look really good and will help with the hot summer sun. They took off the old 15 pound felt and made sure all the decking was in good order. The synthetic underlayment is waterproof and tear proof and It doesn't absorb heat like felt does and air moves underneath it better. They added additional vents because the square footage on my house required more. They installed ice and water shields in all of the valleys and around every penetration and around the chimney. Ice and water shield is so it will seal around a nail when it's driven through. He upgraded the size of the guttering around my front door where my ash trees are so it will prevent them from getting clogged. He also added gutters around my bay window to hopefully prevent wood rot. He replaced the rotted vertical boards around my chimney. He did a fantastic job! He was the easiest and best contractor that I have worked with in the 25 years of owning this home. I highly recommend Roof Leaks and Moore! It started by a phone call to Jason and telling him I have a leak in one of my rooms and that I have no idea how this all works. He was so professional and knowledgeable. He worked with me to find the time that worked for me and then came by and inspected the roof, then he gave me a detailed step by step on how the whole process works including my interactions with my insurance company, and mortgage company. The process went exactly the way he described from beginning all the way till the end. Now, let me talk about the day the guys came out to replace my roof. The job was completed and they left and you wouldn't even know there was work being done from how clean they left my place. I didn't find one nail or anything left behind. They did a great job in completing the job and leaving the place clean. Now let me talk about the folks that came and did the interior repair. I wish I remember their name. They were hired by Jason and his company. They are great folks. They also did the job and left with my room super clean and you wouldn't know that I had any repair done. My ceiling looks great and you can't tell there was a repair. They worked with me on my busy schedule and were very flexible with days and times. I was so nervous and worried but I am not going to lie, Jason did a great job by being transparent and clear in his description of the process. I would recommend Home Again Roofing to anyone. I was mowing in my back yard last night, after working 10 hours…read more I wanted to be done before dark, when Larry Lee entered my back yard through a CLOSED gate. I turned around and a person I didn't know was standing in my private yard! He then proceeded to tell me that he had rang the doorbell, but no one answered, he then heard the mower and proceeded to the back yard. This is NOT okay. He then said, "I heard the mower, and thought I'd find a kid back here!" That is even more concerning that he would enter a private backyard, and approach a kid. He went on to tell me his speech about doing work in the neighborhood and on and on. I cannot recall how many times he asked me to let him do a free inspection, because I was shaking from the sheer audacity and surprise of a stranger in my private space. Shame on this company for taking my personal time and not giving me the choice. Shame on this man for entering a private property. Health issue prevent me from doing my lawn in a quick manner and every moment counts. He was a fool to leave his card thinking I would EVER do business or recommend this company. I don't care what quality of work they may or may not have...this is beyond inappropriate! Unfortunately for rating sake, I have to give one star...if I had the chance to deny any I would. Zero stars. Inappropriate!
