When we had a hail storm hit our house we called On the Rock Roofing. Jeremy answered and let us know he would come by and check it out. He came out and pulled up in front of our house. He arrived in a truck with On the Rock Roofing on the side. He got his ladder out and actually climbed up on the roof to inspect the roof himself. Some roofers would just use a drone now a days instead of a personal touch. We talked in the yard after his inspection. He gave us a detailed account of what he was able to see on the roof. A lot of roofing contractors would just try to get an insurance claim but Jeremy wanted to see for himself what the damages were. He looked in the front and in the back part of the roof. After checking it out he said that there weren't any damages from the storm and because we had a pretty new roof it would be a unnecessary insurance claim. If we did file a claim and the insurance did find damages it could cause our premium to go up. I see the honesty in his assessment. He actually saved us money by not having us file a claim just a few years after our last claim. I would rather have someone shoot me straight than just try to make some money. This is a refreshing approach to business. It would be nice if more contractors followed after on the Rock Roofing and gave fair assessments. The last roofer that had roofed it seemed to just be pushing for a insurance claim but not Jeremy. He wasn't going to reroof the house if it didn't need it. He answered all of our questions and explained how the roof worked and how long a new roof should last. We have a shingle roof with gray and black architectural shingles on it. It was a pleasure to work with Jeremy. He really understands his craft and operates with integrity. You don't find this everyday in working with contractors. I've worked with several contractors over the years. Some don't communicate very well and others are so technical that you don't know what they're talking about. Not Jeremy, he was straight forward and easy to talk to. In Oklahoma we get a variety of weather. We experience high winds and damages from storms. When Jeremy was leaving I let him know that if we ever had any other hail storms or tornado damage he would be the first one we called. You can't always know what will happen with the weather but it's nice knowing that we have some one to call if our roof is ever hit again with a severe storm or hail. I can almost guarantee that storms will hit again. Our area experienced one of the worst storm seasons we've had in years. So I'm sure we'll be needing a new roof some time in the future. read more
