HIGHLY recommend this shop!! We drove up to Sacramento on a Friday evening and our car started having trouble on the way into town. After being turned away by several shops (due to them being closing for the weekend, or not having time to look at our car) we luckily found RBK Auto Tech and they told us to bring the car in. We got there at about 4:45pm. We felt comfortable with this shop, they were very friendly and hospitable. The owner (Sam) had his guys look at our car right away. They were able to find the parts, get them the next morning. They had our car fixed and back to us by 1pm. The problem solved and car is running great now. Sam and his guys really saved us from being stuck in Sacramento for longer than our trip was planned for. We are so incredibly thankful to have found such genuinely good people that truly went above and beyond. Thank you Sam and RBK Auto!!! read more

I brought my vehicle to RBK Auto Tech for a warranty repair after my check engine light came on. I dropped it off on Monday at 9:30 AM. I was told the thermostat repair would likely be completed the same day, pending warranty approval and parts availability, and that I would be contacted if there were any issues. Near closing that evening, I was informed that the part had arrived, but warranty approval was still pending, so the car would be ready on Tuesday. On Tuesday morning, I was told the warranty was approved, and the vehicle would be ready by the end of the day. After receiving no updates, I called around 4:45 PM and was told it was ready, but additional motor mount work had been identified. I explained that I had planned based on the provided timelines. I was told a part needed to be ordered from Texas and would arrive on Thursday, and that I could bring the car back once it arrived. I was told I would receive a call when the part arrived, but I did not. On Thursday at 5:25 PM, I called and was told the part had arrived and that I could bring it in on Friday. On Friday morning, I called at 9:30 AM to confirm again that the vehicle would be ready by the end of the day. I clearly explained that I was leaving town on Saturday and that leaving the car was based on that understanding. I dropped it off at 10:30 AM and was told I would be contacted only if there were warranty issues. After receiving no updates, I called at 4:42 PM and was informed that no work had been performed and that the warranty claim had been submitted only about an hour earlier. My concern is not the repair itself but repeated failures to communicate accurate timelines and manage customer expectations. I would not recommend this shop if you value transparency and clear communication. read more

Came in for work, they were recommended by family. In the process they broke my hood latch. They proceeded to charge me for the damage they caused even though i told them that doesn't seem right. Still to get my car back i had to pay. I left another review initially and was asked to remove it and in return id be refunded. Over 10+ months have passed and no refund was given. So on top of being charged for their mistake, i was also lied to, to protect their reviews. Truthfully I shouldn't have even been persuaded to remove the initial review, but especially considering their lack of follow through, this review is here to stay. Other reviews say they do good work, that was not my experience. read more

We had our gas tank drilled into on Saturday morning and needed it fixed that day. Called RBK and immediately told us to come over to see what they could do! In need of auto repair/service for your vehicle and want EXCELLENT customer service from people who care about you and your vehicle? Look no further! RBK Auto Tech is by far the BEST auto shop in the Sacramento area. This place is AWESOME! My hubby and I had brought our 2010 Mazda CX-9 to the Mazda dealership for an oil change and were told that we would need a new oil pan very soon due to the oil drain plug was stripped. I have brought our car to this particular Mazda dealership for all our oil changes since the day we purchased it back in July 2010. So for it to have been stripped, I know was not our doing. All my years of owning a car, I have never had to deal with a stripped oil pan drain plug. Since our engine light came, I decided to schedule an appointment with Mazda service department and at our appointment, they told my husband that we needed to replace oil pan and were quoted $3,000.00!! WTH??? On top of that, they said we would probably need a new water hose, too. How would they even know that when they hadn't even checked on why the engine light came on? He told them we would have to think about it. I reached out to a very close friend and he referred us to RBK Auto Tech. Best referral hands down! We met with Sam at the front counter. I told him what Mazda said that needed to be done and what they quoted us. He was floored and couldn't believe they wanted to charge us that much. We left our car there and the next day, Sam explained the diagnosis and what work was done. All we needed was a larger oil drain plug and an evap hose. (Whew!) When Sam told us the cost, we were pleasantly surprised at reasonable price and so relieved that we didn't have to come up 3G's for services that we really didn't need. Sam was nothing but SUPER friendly, very knowledgeable, honest, thorough and just a great person to talk to. Even though we live in the Elk Grove area, we decided right then and there, we will gladly without hesitation drive to RBK Auto Tech for ALL our auto service needs from here on out. RBK Auto Tech should be at the top of your list if you find yourself in need of auto repair/service. They really are that good and will not disappoint!! Thank you SO MUCH, Sam & RBK Auto Tech!! FEMALE FRIENDLY PLACE!! I'm a single mom and car repairs are just one of those things that women often feel taken advantage of. But that's not the case at RBK. Sam and his crew were so nice and friendly (& funny) and went out of their way to make sure I was taken care of and treated right! As a small business owner myself, I understand the importance of supporting other small businesses in our communities. Not only were my car repairs done quickly and correctly, but I would easily and highly recommend them to anyone with any car repair needs. I'm now a loyal customer, thanks to Sam Gazal and all the guys there! *Needed new A/C compressor and front brake work* read more

This place was suggested to me by the dealer I purchased my used vehicle from. There was an issue and they sent me here. I was impressed with the shop and it's cleanliness. They were cordial and thorough with issue. Also efficient with timeliness of appointment and length of time to repair. When I went the second time, also very good service and the quoted cost of repair was reasonable. Sam and Keyed run a very nice shop. I would recommend if someone needed service. I will return my vehicle for maintenance or repair. read more

RBK is AMAZING! I needed to have my oil changed in my 2014 Honda CRV. Of course had put it off and it needed to be done yesterday. I finally stopped to have it done. Sam took care it all! During our conversation he was a wealth of knowledge! Car was done quickly and ready to go! As I walked out the technician mentioned he had attached my license plate (it was hanging) and fixed my bumper ( it was detached) by popping it back in place!!! Let me start by summarizing that this place is amazing and does some of the best work I've seen from any mechanic I've used in the past (including the dealerships). They are very honest and don't try and charge you for work that doesn't need to be done. The communication is great and they will always let you know if there are things that should be watched for in the future or isn't an immediate concern. I brought several of my vehicles to them and all have been fixed in an efficient time frame and for much less than was quoted at the dealership. They are also very accurate with the quoted time for the repair meaning they know what they're doing and don't take longer than anticipated unless they find additional work that is necessary after things are opened up. I would definitely recommend them and will continue bringing all my cars for them to service. read more

The service and expertise that I've received from RBK is nothing short of amazing. Our relationship started after I had a brake job done by another shop that that did a horrific job, which had me stranded on the highway. I got referred to RBK that day, had my car towed to the shop, they stayed open late to help me and for that I can't be more thankful. Since then, I've gone back for an oil change and an engine oil leak. The service was amazing and they actually showed me what was wrong (they found the leak), not just tell me. Sam at the front is so personable and Raad is a wealth of knowledge. The guys in the back are awesome too. Thanks again!! read more

Highly recommend RBK! Sam and his technicians are amazing! Trust worthly honest and HUMAN! Sam went above and beyond in regards to helping me out of a very scary situation. 3 months / 2 payments in after purchasing a used vehicle from a used car lot, i realized i needed a new engine. SCREWED! Sam was awesome, worked with my difficult warranty company and got my car back on the road at the lowest cost possible in only three days! He was very upfront and honest through the process and understood my situation and was sensitive to my vehicle being a new purchase. I honestly never felt more comfortable and relaxed in such a screwed up severe situation. I am beyond grateful for Sam and his team! Thanks guys, keep up the awesome job and service.. although i hope i dont have to return, cause lets face it who wants car issues, but im sooo happy to have stumbled upon RBK, i will be back! read more

I took my Subaru in for service at RBK Auto Tech. They were prompt and had several items repaired within a few hours including brakes, power steering service, an oil change. The next day they even helped fix a broken window washer after we learned that the dealer wanted $45 for a little plastic part. They helped me get that done free of charge, even though it took them around 15 minutes to glue up the old one. They did good work and I will take my car there again next time it needs service. They had a clean shop, nice people, and did good work. read more

Great shop!! These guys really know their stuff. I found it to be a very pleasant experience working with RBK. Honest, professional Really know their way around German cars and take the time to diagnose problems that the dealerships just don't have the time or skill level to achieve, and at a lower price than what the dealerships charge. read more

I took my 2002 BMW M5 here a couple weeks ago to get my clutch replaced, and I left extremely satisfied and feel like I won't ever have to look for another quality repair shop as long as they're in business. Their communication during the process was excellent, and even provided pictures of before and after the work. They went above and beyond by doing extra work they felt was needed, some extra parts/costs but also just because they're Awesome. The quote was accurate even though they did more unexpected repairs, which was more than appreciated. My car came back running better than when I first purchased it almost a decade ago. This place came highly recommended and now I know why, I will mention it to everyone I know for now on. read more

Some one told be about RBK, I was hesitant at first because I had never taken my car anywhere else apart from the dealership. I made an 8am appointment with Raad, he was at the shop 8:03 am and apologized for being late, I said to my self this is a great start I explained in detail what was going on with my car he checked it out , he also rotate my tires and checked and changed my air filter and gave me a lecture on why I have to change it regular which was not a part of why I went there but I was grateful because the filter was bad I kept ignoring the sign that says change filter......I had a recent quote from the dealer and it was 5 times the amount Raad charged I was in disbelief and at the same time happy I know for sure this is where I will be taking my car .... read more
