A few other plumbing services contacted me, too, and all gave the same advice. I went with Anthony because he got back the fastest & was trustworthy from the start (and also the company had stellar reviews on Yelp). Through the week we arranged the item I needed, I paid for it to be picked up at the Home Depot convenient for him. It was over 100lbs & I am truly grateful Anthony handled pickup & delivery. Come Thursday Anthony & his associate Miguel arrived to my home & brought the unit up my stoop + two flights of stairs, and swapped my old commode out for the new one within two hours! I was very surprised at the very lax/vague statement of work, the proposed price tag of $25,000 and the fact that when I wouldn't sign at 9:00 PM, the quote paperwork was taken away. I ended up with a master plumber who determined the cause and repaired the pipes for a fraction of the proposed amount.

Parkset came in with a very reasonable bid. The work was done quickly, with great quality and communication. It was such a good experience, I called them back for a couple more projects.

Those I know are really long lasting" he said it will eventually erode, I said but it's not right now..he kept pressing that, that was part of the problem. I don't think it was since clearly the hole was but whatever, annoyed about that. I was charged $550. After he left I noticed it was still leaking and NOW it was clogging! I called them again the next day and informed the boss Tom, he sent over Kenny again this time with a partner, I forgot his name but he was much younger, more friendly, he also seemed more knowledgeable because he right away was pointing out things and I can see instantly he didn't like that and it made Kenny looked bad. Kenny changed the pipes and drain again and kept ordering the younger guy, but when we saw it was leaking again, the younger assistant asked if he can see the area, try something Kenny ignored him and didn't let him do anything but fetch tools for him and the assistant kept asking to see, I got annoyed and said "WILL YOU LET HIM LOOK?" like curb your ego dude! So the younger guy said what could be the issue and Kenny refused to acknowledge it and somehow managed to stop it by changing the drain and pipe again, he said the boss has to charge me for the new drain that he put in, that was weird to me since he didn't fix what he initially came to do the first day but whatever I wanted him done and out already. So an $225 and the next day LEAKING AGAIN! I called the boss and told him how upset I was after paying $800 total my BRASS drain and pipe removed (which I think was taken for themselves) it STILL hasn't been fixed and I was totally pissed and not satisfied. I asked how long has Kenny worked for them because the guy doesn't know what he's doing clearly and he's got an ego & wouldn't allow the young assistant to have a look at it, despite pointing out the issues. Tom was a little snippy when he should have taken accountability for charging so much for shi*tty work & sending over an incompetent person who should have retired honestly. It finally was fixed for good, when I demanded for someone else and NOT be charged a 3rd time!!

I initially called to have my kitchen sink cleared of a stoppage. They bring in a snake and proceed to snake from under the sink. It took them a while and ultimately, they were unable to get it cleared. Ok, sometimes at the end of the day we don't have on our thinking caps and we are not as quick witted as we could be. Why do people ask stupid questions like why do I need your Master Plumber's License? Only people on Staten Island would be stupid enough to get angry at a customer for asking such a thing. Nothing nefarious about that question when you want to confirm you are doing business with a LICENSED AND INSURED company. GTFOH. Making him look bad in front of the boss? CTFU. Boss should know smart people hire companies that their bona fides in order. Rates seemed fair. They took all the stuff they bought in back out and left the little mess they made (no problem) I'll leave it to clean up after I get the sink fixed. Would you go to a doctor and not know if he is licensed to practice medicine? Want just anyone working on your electric? I don't. The rest of Staten Island can do what they want.
