We only needed a simple Rabies vaccination. We could not wait another 45 minutes ( at least) so we rescheduled the appointment. On Tuesday 7/8/25 , we had another appointment set for 5 pm for a simple rabies vaccine. We arrived before 5 pm, checked in and were told once again it would be another 45 minutes despite the fact that we had an appointment. Their excuse for two weeks in a row was "emergencies". Something is wrong with their appointment system and needs to be analyzed and fixed. We could not wait another 45 minutes and neither could others who said they had been waiting a long time and could wait no longer. We had to walk out because we nor others could not wait any longer. Unfortunately we will be changing Vets to someone who can manage their appointments better.

But the receptionist staff is pretty rude and lacks any customer service mannerisms. Especially the older lady who's been there for years. Everytime I've gone in, I've patiently waited for others before me to be helped first. She always sees me walk in and never acknowledges me or says hi or even a "Be with you in one moment." Which can be confusing because then you don't know if they're working to finish something on the computer first or they really didn't see you walk in. They usually just ignore you until they have a minute to help you. I literally hate having to wait to check in my dog because of them but I like Dr. Chahal.

But I had found out that the manager, who was always there happened to be on vacation. The week we left our dogs and whatever staff was there. Did not do what they are supposed to do to take care of my dog at the time. But in 2024, we dropped our dogs off and the manager, and another long time the staff member was there and they took excellent care of our 2 dogs as they normally had done in the past several years. Except for that one year when the manager was gone. Her and her son were great.I know the son left and went to another vet office. I feel bad because I cannot remember their names as I write this post.But the regular clientele would know who i'm talking about in this review Anyway, I'm going to miss them. I was sad to find out that the veterinarian, who owned the hotel and the vet office retired.And sold everything to the city of stockton. I hope that the staff does read this post and know that they are going to be dearly missed by us.And i'm sure many others

Reading her review about what she said about her own dog makes me think she is crazy. If my dog misbehaved like that I would be so apologetic, I would not laugh about it. They have always made dropping off and picking up so easy. My dog is all leashed up and ready to go. It can be quite busy at drop off and pick up but Jessica and her staff make it run smoothly. The prices are great, the hours are great and the people whom care for the pets are great. If you don't like the care maybe you can hire a nanny to sit at your house all day and take your Bully to the dog park and beach to run off leash. To put a positive comment to end this. I just recently had to leave my big girl for boarding for 3 months I had surgery and couldn't have her jumping on me. When I got her back she has almost completely stopped jumping up on me. She took time to play with them, let them out to relieve themselves. When away for family and business trips anywhere from overnight to 15 days she will always let us know how they were doing, when she arrived and left.
