I…read moredebated for weeks if I should just go to petco or pet-smart for dog classes but ultimately thought "class in the park seems like a better/more enjoyable location for training." Yes, guaranteed dog training comes with a steep $100 price tag for a 4 week session BUT IT IS TOTALLY WORTH IT (And you are a "lifetime member"-meaning after the 4 week course you can come back for free) I am in week 2 with my dog and we are already seeing great results (she is sitting, laying down etc) Janet, the owner called prior to the first class to field questions and ease anxieties and then called again after class #2 to check in and see how things were going. I really appreciated that and can tell she truly wants us to succeed! They email "homework" after the class which has pointers and a review of the class which is very helpful. There are 3 or 4 other trainers/aides there that are hands on in the class too (i was worried that with 10-15 dogs it would be hard to get one on one help but there are more than enough trainers there to lend a hand) I really don't know why we didn't sign up for this class years ago! We look forward to weekly class and my dog is really responding well!

We've gone through the basic and advanced classes, as well as board and train, and we couldn't be…read morehappier with the results. The trainers genuinely care about helping both dogs and owners succeed. While some of the feedback can be tough to hear at first, its all with the goal of creating clarity and consistency for the dog---and it really works. We quickly realized that many behavior issues came from our own mixed signals or inconsistent commands. The trainers are knowledgeable, patient, and make sure corrections are fair and appropriate. The progress we've seen has been amazing, and our home is so much more balanced as a result. The classes have also been great for socialization, which we know is just as important as training. Our pup absolutely loves going---it's fun, structured, and rewarding. We'll definitely continue with future classes and highly recommend this program to anyone looking to build a strong bond with their dog.

Not only did he train our Australian Shepherd, he takes the time to properly educate us as owners on proper handling and training whether it be at home or out in public. Without a shadow of a doubt, if in the future I were able to have another dog or two. I am sending them back to High Rank K9. While we immediately began training some basic commands, we also signed up for one of the Basic Group Obedience Class with Kelly. The classes are kept small so that Kelly was able to provide individual attention to each doggie and their humans in every session. Kelly is such a confident and experienced dog trainer and the dogs just all seemed to gravitate to her and she was able to show all of us doggie parents what we should be doing to get the best out of our doggies. Kelly was absolutely wonderful and in just seven sessions, we saw such a difference in Bandit's behavior. I highly recommend the Canine Culture classes as well as Kelly as a personal dog trainer.

After taking him to Kinship K9, I am not exaggerating when I say we get compliments every week about how well-behaved our dog is! We worked with Sherrie for dog training over an 8 week period; 1.5 hours every week. She is very knowledgeable and a great trainer of both people AND dogs. The Kinship K9 motto is true: Training for BOTH ends of the leash. Much like visiting any other kind of specialist, the once-a-week training is very valuable, but the MOST important part is doing your work at home, every single day. Sherrie teaches you exactly how to work with your dog on a daily basis so that you see marked improvement in your pup on every week. She sends you home with homework so you can follow along, and even recommends YouTube videos if you get stuck. I highly recommend bringing your dog to Kinship K9 if you are ready to build a strong bond with your dog in a proven, safe environment.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this business! Get ready for a long read!…read more We adopted a Pit/Lab mix from a shelter in October 2019. She seemed a perfect fit until she become comfortable a couple months after. From then onwards she was an absolute nightmare to say the least. Ollie had SO MANY issues I couldn't even name them all. And we're not talking about basic obedience problems. She had aggressive tendencies. But the scariest was her unpredictability where she can be sweet one second and snap in the immediate next for absolutely no apparent reason. We sought professional help from multiple trainers, advice from several professionals, including our vet, the shelter where we rescued her from, and several other rescue groups. One Pitbull group specifically stated she was "predatory and dangerous and needs to be euthanized." Over time, Ollie did not improve and in fact became increasingly aggressive. After an incident where she cornered a family member we came to the conclusion that the recommendation for behavioral euthanasia was in fact the only solution. With a heavy heart, we decided to go that route for the safety of everyone. We took a few days off to spend spoiling her and when the day came, Ollie was sedated and the mobile euthanasia vet on her way over. But at that last moment as she laid her head on my lap and looked at us, something just didn't feel right. We pulled the plug on the whole operation then and there. In a last ditch effort, the next two days were spent on the phone doing consultations to several board training facilities. Unfortunately I didn't get a great feel for them. Then I received a call from my vet's office from their receptionist who told me she heard Bone-A-Fide did a great job with difficult cases. At this point I didn't have much hope but I called and left them a msg anyway. And I am SO HAPPY I did!!! Stephanie from Bone-A-Fide Dog Training called me back and spent almost two hours on the phone with me. I explained all of Ollie's issues and she basically became our angel right then and there. Full wings and all! What immediately made Stephanie different is that instead of talking prices and making promises, she was genuinely sympathetic, truly listened, and assured me that as hard as it was, sometimes behavioral euthanasia is the kindest thing to do for a dog with so many issues. But she wanted to help us any way she could. She had me send over some videos of Ollie just to observe her and said she would meet with her team and get back to me. The next morning she called to set up an in-person consultation and came up with a game plan. For the next few months Stephanie, Kari, and Kim worked with Ollie and the transformation was unreal! Truly, what resulted was a phenomenon. They set realistic expectations and worked with us humans on how to communicate with her. While Ollie will always have her quirks, she did a complete 180 and her "quirks" are just that. No longer dangerous. We still work with Ollie every day to remind both her and ourselves that it is an ongoing progress. But the progress has been amazing. Ollie is now even great friends with other dogs she previously tried to attack! Ollie is proof that with the RIGHT trainer anything can happen! Bone-A-Fide was so professional, kind, knowledgeable, and I felt that through it all they do this because they truly love it. It was never about a price. To this day, Stephanie still checks in with us to make sure all is well. I cannot recommend them enough! They literally saved Ollie's life when everyone else had given up. We are forever grateful to them! Thank you Stephanie, Kim, Kari, and the rest of the Bone-A-Fide team!!!!!

TAKE YOUR MONEY SOMEWHERE ELSE!…read more I am very surprised by all the 5 star reviews....Jack was extremely unprofessional. He made many rude, racially insensitive jokes. Smoked cigarettes throughout the entire one hour training session. Mind u he was smoking so close to my daughter who was attending the class with me with not a care in the world. We had to move away from him because he kept chain smoking throughout the lesson. He was telling endless stories about his childhood and how his dad would beat him with a belt and how he voted for trump and other political topics. (There's nothing wrong with talking politics, but there is a time and place and this was not it) he was very loud and obnoxious he cussed like a sailor. No professionalism. There is some very serious redneck culture here.Put down the cigarettes for an hour and have some respect for the people paying good money to learn from you. It was a Very unfortunate experience. My daughter and I were really looking forward to training our puppy and learning with him but after the first class i just could not return. I will not be back. No thank you. Even my daughter felt uncomfortable when leaving the facility. Not cool.
