The problem with this practice is communication. I had 4 biopsies last week, and was told they…read morewould contact me with the results. No one called me, I received an email that said there was information on my patient portal. After a complicated process of signing in, I found an email that told me nothing until I clicked on everything in a long list. Finally, in tests and results, I learned that all 4 biopsies were positive for squamous cell carcinoma. There was no suggestion of what I should do next--make an appointment, have surgery-nothing. I called and learned I would need 4 surgical procedures, and was connected to the surgical coordinator. She did not answer, and has not yet returned my call. I also asked to speak to someone in the office who could make appointments, with the same results. This reinforced my previous impression that the people running this business don't care about the patients.

She promised an estimate of the cost of the procedure. We were told that the surgical scheduler would call and provide a quote and next steps. We never heard back on either a quote, next steps or when a procedure could be done. Now Aspen Dermatology keeps sending us bills for $300 for the "consult" but the promised follow up and services were never provided.
