I want to recommend Jason as a professional resume writer. Last year he helped me update my resume, and better showcase my experience and skills. The end product was very disjointed, grammatical errors, and even worse a "copy & paste" from someone else's resume that listed industry I've never worked in. I came across Jason's company profile in a google search. I was in need of a much needed update to my resume and I had no idea where to start. What I liked about Jason's process compared to other sites was that he would take the time to really get to know who you were and what your interests were. With this method your resume was still you and not some document you had to study before an interview. Jason at Razor Resume offers a great service and a great product, he has deep industry knowledge and has a very diverse background that is applicable to you whether you are just out of college or a seasoned vet. I took a leap of faith, after being referred to him by a very reputable resume writing professional, and decided to work with Jason, and here are my thoughts and the breakdown of my experience with Jason at Razor Resume: You start off with information gathering via telephone interviews and questionnaires, then after you share ideas and information with Jason, he starts working on your resume. I had my first draft about 2 weeks after I completed the interview/questionnaire process. After the first draft, you are able continue working further with Jason on revising your resume until you feel comfortable with your resume. One of my major concerns with using a professional resume writer was if there would be a disconnect between me and my resume, but working with Jason, I feel that my resume represents me very well; it's more eloquent and articulate than I ever would have been able to put on a resume. Working with Jason made me realize I had so many skills that I just never even thought of before, he offers valuable insight to skill sets and translates them very well onto the resume. The bottom line is, if you do choose Razor Resume and work with Jason, you will get a beautiful and very well written resume - the time it would take you to create such a resume is already well beyond the asking price for his services, I know I would be spending hours and hours for weeks (if not months) trying to write up something as well written and nicely formatted as what Jason was able to do. At the very least, you have another set of unbiased professional eyes looking at your resume. Paid him $200 to assist me in writing my resume. When I got the resume it had a quote from Walt Disney on both the cover letter and resume, the formatting looked old and outdated, and when I asked him to revise it he wouldn't. Then I asked him for a refund and he wouldn't give me my money back. Do not go here. read more

Follow up on my review listed above. Jason still has NOT returned phone calls and only response to my email requests has been to resend forms ie on how to use Linked in (no help setting up page as he discussed in length on initial phone interview and for which i paid) He also has NOT sent me a receipt for what he has billed me. He has not even returned any emails accordingly. In full disclosure .... after correcting errors in his resume and re writing a cover letter .... I have had to use the resume to apply for positions ..... NO RESULTS OF ANY KIND to date! very very disappointing read more

Started the process with Jason to help a friend get her resume. She worked with him for over two months, when he was available. Emails she sent him with questions or information requested that weren't ignored, were responded to by emails sent in the middle of the night that never really answered her questions. Excuses for delays came from him in abundance. Prior to ever seeing anything from Jason, he required payment, $250.00 for a cover letter and resume. I paid it. When he finally did send something it was clip art garbage at best. It appeared to be partial sentences cut from articles on the internet. Grammar equal to but never surpassing the skills of an illiterate, non-English speaking person. Sent him an email questioning the rough draft he sent. The response came lightning fast and was very well written, it appeared to be written by a person extremely proficient in making excuses. When a refund was requested, it was refused by Jason. If you are looking for a resume, keep looking. If you want someone to write a brilliant excuse, Jason is your guy! For a resume equal to or exceeding the product Jason produces at a lower cost, find a child in Kindergarden or Preschool and give them a pencil and a piece of paper. read more

Worked with Jason in the Spring of 2017 for an entry level resume. End product came back and had a Disney quote on the top, an outdated format, and multiple grammatical errors. Ended up having to edit it multiple times and basically just did it on my own. Wouldn't recommend for future use, go to someone else. read more

Basically told me how wonderful a job he will do, build a bio, how to connect with decision makers, how he was responsible for finding Condi Rice's assistant, fill out the Q&A information, charge $250 and never hear from Razor or Jason or whomever these people are, again. Charges your card first, asks you to fill out 16 pages of background and then copies your existing resume. Nothing but templates and very junior work. Hardly worth $250+ he charges IF you can ever even get back on phone. Only received a draft and had to hire another firm. Still no refund. read more

I used Jasons resume service couple months ago and had such a horrible experience. After readind the reviews, I thought i would get great service. After paying him $250, I recieved my first copy of the resume and I sent it back for some corrections as he had some of the job descriptions incorrect. Then I received the revised copy back which needed some more changes but I never heard back from him. Emailed him several times but no response. He will take your money and you will never hear back from him unless you get satisfied the first time with his work. I will never recommend him to anyone. Jason did a great job on my resume. Withing a month I was having my first of 5 interviews . My resume was passed up the chain to senior executives and they all were very impressed. I received a job offer and have been with the Bank since January. I will continue to use Jason for updates and will refer friends and family to him. read more

The Worst experience ever. I told him I needed my resume by Friday. 72 hour turnaround. He said no problem. Well on Friday no resume and no contact with supposed resume writer. Finally got a hold him on Monday. Then it was every excuse in the book. I told him I would like my money back (since I paid up front) He said he would return my money. Seems fair he didn't do anything for me. Well this is why I'm writing this letter. He did not give back my money and he's trying to charge me 150 dollars for career coaching and linkdin.
