They had a line mid-morning, on a Friday. That was my first indication they were good. The wait was long for my two boys, but worth it. The gentleman that did their hair was patient, efficient, quick and gentle. The baby cried bloody-murder the entire time and then, to add flair, cried so hard he threw up on me. The barber handled it like it was a constant occurrence. And didn't seem phased or irritated. The boys look great; the price fair. And if we're welcomed back with little Mister who killed it for the other clients, then we most likely would go back! Five stars all the way! read more

where to begin with. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. they are very homophobic. took my son for a hair cut, one the employers were talking about my son to another employer, they thought I couldn't hear because I had my AirPods on. Shaved my sons hair, spilt on his face and called him the F word!!! the roaches decided they were going to have a party, I decided to take a piece of cake and one of them bit me!!! I'm currently in the hospital with an amputated arm. DONT COME HERE read more

Never made it to the chair. I called at 11am to make a reservation, but i was told to just come in. I get there and check in....I waited 50 minutes in my car so i went to see if it was almost my turn and the guy who came in after me got a chair before me. Waste of my time. read more

I told the barber not to cut the top because I was growing it out. He said he understood and literally shaved most of the hair I was growing out. Worst place ever. Not coming back. Don't waste your money. Worst part is the top wasn't even, it's literally all in patches. read more

I wanted to razor cut or shave (almose bald) my head. I had a burr up my butt. I was terrified how it would look and I really wanted to go somewhere that knew what they were doing. I had seen the clients leaving this place and it got excellent reviews. I had never shaved my head before...I wasn't sure how I wanted it cut. Indecisive and terrified were the best words to describe what I was going through. These guys TOTALLY KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING and really kicked royal ASS on my head....I really loved the cut and all my anticipations went right out the window. Highly recommend them...They do great military or razor cuts and all kinds of cool trendy stuff. PUT YOUR TRUST IN THESE GUYS...They rock it OUT!!! Very happy customer. Great prices too!!! read more

I've gone to this place for a couple years now. They always do a really good job. No nonsense, just a good haircut. The staff does a good job, and they are affordable. I like to wash and condition my hair before I go in. The haircutters there seem to appreciate it. read more

Fast service, great haircut, good lines and a clean beard. Check. Clean shop, fair prices? Check. What more can I ask for in a barber? I seem to bounce around barber shops quite a bit but I will be back to this one. read more

Well I came here since I needed a haircut and looked up this shop through yelp. The person (he had tattoos)that attended me was very professional and respectful. He asked me what I wanted and I showed him a picture and told him what i wanted. He told me that i wanted a low fade , and me not being very knowledgeable of the terminology, I went with it. All was going well. During the haircut, his clippers were burning my neck as he lined it up, but it was fine. At the the end of the haircut, I paid and was about to leave till I noticed the back was rounded very low and told the guy that I'd like it higher. That's when things went a bit downhill... He got frustrated (especially since I was his last customer) and told me "so you wanted a high fade" and I told him "I guess, and that I was sorry." He cut my hair and as he was cutting it he said " so you went low to high" and I told him "yeah... sorry." At the end of the haircut, he told me if it looked good and said "are you sure? Are you sure" multiple times. At this point I just wanted to get out so I said yes. The haircut came out okay... he did well but he did go a bit high as he was cutting the sides as you go back. He left my face filled with hair as well. I never write reviews but this was bad customer service. I understand the frustration. As you're about to leave, a customer tells you that he wanted something fixed because you were both confused. But I paid for a good haircut(and gave him a tip before I told him to fix my hair!) He seemed like a cool guy but he seemed to have let his frustration get to him. This could've a place I would've gone to regularly but no... I don't find pleasure writing this review... it's a small business which seemed pretty cool but my experience was bad. Hopefully it's better in the future for people that look up this place because they lost my business. read more

I started going to this place after my friends recommended I should go here.As soon as I got there I was a little bit nervous because I have never been in a barbershop before. One of the barbers Moe was ready so I told him what I wanted and he got right to it.He knew his way around clippers and he seemed like a really down to earth person. As he finished, the cut was honestly the best and I looked way different but in a really good way. After months of being at Razor Edge this place has never disappointed me at all. They have excellent service and I recommend you should go there too these barbers will get right down to work. This place to me is what I call a barbershop. read more

So I have mulling over if I wanted to bring my mohawk back for a while, and after going through that "in between stage," I decided it was time to bring the hawk hawk back into play. I moved out of the city a while ago, and since I was growing it out, there was no need to look for a barber. Now it was....so enter YELP. I searched around and found Razor Edge. It had great reviews so I stopped in when they opened (as I heard they get a line pretty fast.) My barber was Moe (hope I spelled that right.) I told him what I wanted and he got to work right away. He was very nice, and a great conversationalist. Before I knew it, my Mohawk was back! It was a clean cut with a "V" in the back. Damage was $16.00 but I gave a $20, Always tip your barbers and show some love ;) I will be going back. Thanks Moe~! read more

Great place for haircuts good clean atmosphere Has always been a very busy shop but gotten to busy The wait is extremely long They should consider giving appointments I wouldn't mind having to give a deposit for appointments considering how busy they get it would be a great deal instead of spending hrs sitting there read more

Good clean establishment. Would recommend to anybody in the av. The owner is super cool will hook you up with any haircut.!!

Thought i would try this place out. They did a great job on my sons hair. Definitely going back.

I was stunned by the care my son and husband received at the Razor Edge. Very professional. Excellent haircut! Even though the place was crowded, we were greeted when we walked in - by more than one barber and the wait time was less than five minutes. Every station was occupied. Usually you go to a barber and several stations are empty and the wait time is way too long. Not here! All that said, there are two large screen tv sets so you don't miss a bit of your game of the day. Another thing is the price.....less than anywhere else! I will never go to another barber in Palmdale. read more

I been here for years...I never been disappointed..always a happy customer...after all this is a great place to get ur haircut...

I am going to start off by saying I come here all the time and always tip 5 to 6 dollars but recently this place has really given me bad haircuts. I really feel that some barbers aren't even licensed here. I am aware that there's a few good barbers that people ask for and for a reason, because most of the people who walk in ask for certain people but if you go to any other barber, your hair is bound to get messed up. I really wish I had the name of the person who cut my hair all I know is that he's bald and and has tattoos. He was a nice guy but obviously doesn't cut hair often, it was very obvious by the way he was operating the scissors and just looked confused when cutting only certain parts of my hair while I was getting a trim up top. He really messed up the front of my hair where I spike it up and even all around but I'll only post the front of my hair. I still tipped him $5 because I didnt notice how bad it was until afterwards, but this is the last time I will visit. If the owner is reading this please train properly or get rid of this guy.i read more

Razor Edge Barbershop - This is such a bad job, honestly any other barber with little experience could have cut this better. - Barbers Near Me - Palmdale, California

This is my go to place!! Shame on me for trying a new place. Lesson learned! Stick with what you know is the best and that is Razor Edge Barbershop. They're always courteous and helpful when I come with my son. Would strongly recommend to everyone!!! read more

Highly disappointed with this Barber Shop. I went in there with my boys after reading some good reviews. Hoping to find a new barber since we are not from here and are new to the area. We walked in asked how long the wait was, 1st chair barber said 20 min . I said thanks we will wait for the 1st open chair . 3 more people walked in after us, 1st chair barber apparently knew them, they signed in and take a seat. A chair opens up, first chair Barber has the people that had just walked in after us hop in that chair. I asked the guy was I supposed to sign in he says yeah but I will take care of you. So I think okay this guy is going to do my son's hair since we are new here he's going to take care of us. He finishes up with the clients hair that he is doing then he takes the people that walked in after us again. At this point it's already been past 30 minutes, I then told him you told me it was a 20-minute wait and we were next, the barber then tells me oh they were here before you. I said no they were not I was here before they were he said well you can have the lady at the end cut their hair when she's done. I told him no thanks , that lady looked like she did great hair , but she had a lady with a ton kids there waiting to get hair cuts . It was just wrong and not professional in my opinion. read more
