There's an interesting way the owner, or at least the guy that seeeeeems to be the owner behaves The place i went to is BB's Barbershop, the one behind Panda Express, across the street from Smart n Final. So here goes - I pop my head in and ask how much a haircut is, and before answering he says "do you have an appointment?" I asked again, so he answered...$30 (ouch - steep for a barber cut at a barber shop in Palmdale). i said id be back in a little while for a cut. I go back an hour or two later, he acts like he's never seen me before, asks if I'd like a cut, i say i would, and he asks me AGAIN if i have an appointmentHe runs the place, so you'd think he'd know if i had an appointment or not. I look around and see there's not another soul in the place, but this guy has an attitude like its not a Monday in the middle of the day, and like they are totally slammed, and can barely fit me if I'm lucky. His attitude was totally strange, the haircut he gave me was mediocre, and it was way too expensive for a barber shop cut in a mini strip mall in the high desert. $30+5tip=$35 too much money for a mediocre cut and to endure this fella's attitude! read more

Took my son here twice and I don't think we'll be back. The 'take a number' system is a joke. The number we got was 14 away from the current number being served - was told the wait would be about 35 minutes, when in actuality the wait was over an hour. Four new customers were served before the 'currently serving' number finally changed. My guess is that those customers were there to see a particular barber - nonetheless it was a disorganized system. Asked for a mid-fade and my son got a high-fade. I'd rather drive a little bit farther to a barber shop that knows what it's doing and that doesn't have too long of a wait. read more

During the pandemic we all stayed home and cut our own hair. Returning to work, I started going back once again. Their prices have gone up significantly, but so has every other barber shops. And to be honest, this is the only place I've ever been able to find, where you get a consistently good cut, even though sometimes the barbers change. So far, in over six years, I haven't been disappointed. Maybe I've just had good luck, but if something does change, or if I have a bad experience, I'll be sure to post an update. But for now, they have my five stars, highly recommend.
