I've been a loyal customer here for years, but the last four months have shown a sharp decline in both service and quality. I used to come here for the convenience, especially compared to Palmdale, but after my last visit, I'm done. The barbers are working with zero professionalism, and it's appalling that they're allowed to drink on the job even with kids around. This place has become a joke. Save yourself the trouble and find a different shop! read more

If you are in Lancaster and you want a great barber, look no further. Cone in and see Juan, the owner of the joint, he's been our barber for years. Reasonable pricing, nice new location, great service -- give Johnny's a shot... read more

Johnnys Barbershop - Barbers Near Me - Lancaster, California

It says they open at 8 in the morning but they do not open at 8 in the morning. Need to update their hours and make sure they arrive on time

If there is one thing that gets on my nerves its when businesses don't open up on time my second time coming to this place and every time I come either their times are off or they're not opening their business when they say they should read more

The barbers want to pick and choose who's hair they do fucking bullshit been sitting here for over an hour and there's only one barber

So this morning I took my Son in for a haircut. We have been here before but this time was different. I had my toddler with me so she was not happy about sitting so we went to shop next door while my Son got his hair cut. The barber whom I made a appointment with took 40 dollars cash from my Son which I gave him for the services. He should have given my Son $15 dollars change. He would not give us our change! Never again will I go to this establishment. I will spend my hard dollars elsewhere. read more

I used to go here not until the fat guy who wears eyeglasses cut my hair and he ruined my cut! I even showed him the photos and he just shaved my head. Never go to him to cut your hair or you will regret it!!! read more

Daniel the barber was kind and patient with my son while cutting his hair. I will definitely be back.

Took my son in for a haircut and Joy did the best cut he has had since we first moved here almost for years ago. Clean place and friendly staff! read more

I haven't gotten a single cut here that I didn't have to correct myself later after trying multiple times to tell my barber how to finish the cut. At least it has gotten close enough that I can take that final step myself, but it's tiresome enough after nearly a year of coming here that I will be looking for service elsewhere. read more

Went there today to get my kids hair cut. After entering the shop no one greeted us or said anything to us but we sat down anyways. The barbers were busy cutting their clients hair. In the background there was loud music which I don't mind music but every other word was a bad word. The song finished and another song with a lot of explicit language followed after another. We still hadn't been acknowledged or told anything and it was then I decided that I just couldn't be in there anymore. I got my kids and left this shop in search of another where we would feel welcomed and comfortable having our kids. read more

The barber didn't listen to what I was trying to explain to him & wanted to correct me, I got irritated and just let him be. Walked out irritated with a busted haircut! read more

My hair is buuuuusted af after hitting this place up. I do not recommend this place at all don't let the 5 star's fool you. They missed a bunch of areas and jacked up my neck. It's currently super blotchy and swollen. Overall not a clean cut. 1/10 read more

Great barbershop with a friendly staff, good price. I tried them out and looking forward to next haircut.

Popped into this shop to get a quick cut later in the day. Was pleased to meet Juan, the shop owner, who is a great guy who offers an excellent cut for a great, reasonable price. Service was very personable; the shop was nice and clean; the location couldn't be better (I work across the street). I'm going to recommend this shop to all my friends, and you should give it a try too! read more

Not very professional. Just waited an hour for a haircut and got skipped over twice. Someone even said hey he (me) was next. Didn't change my situation as the girl continued to sit the guy who just walked in 5 minutes before. I just got up and left. Maybe you needed an appointment, who knows as there wasn't any communication with me. If you're looking for a new barbershop, this might not be the best place. Wasted a nice chunk of my Saturday and am still needing a haircut. read more

Most reliable barbershop in the AV. I've been coming here for many years and have been pleased with every single haircut I have gotten. I have tried many of the barbers in this shop and all of them provide quality cuts. The barbers are all very easygoing and provide good conversation. Very kid-friendly and comfortable. read more

Would be nice to know if you guys update your hours on yelp so I don't have to drive all the way around town for a barbershop and this dumb website says you are open read more

I've been here three times and every single time they do an awesome job. Highly recommend this place

Been there a few times. Once in a while it would be very busy but worth the wait. The owner is nice and attention to detail. The staff is professional, would recommend this barber shop to anyone. read more

He even suggest for little small changes and there all good even if it's something small he makes it POP! Overall great shop and while waiting there is always movies playing read more

Recently moved to the Av and needed to finely a local barber and yelped Johnny and the reviews where on point very happy

First time coming here and I enjoyed it. It was recommended to me by a co-worker and I'm very pleased with my haircut. Juan is very experienced and knows what he's doing. FYI it's cash only. read more

Yesterday, I was looking for quick cut. As I browsed through Yelp, I came upon La Barberia. I went there, the place was not welcoming, they told me to take a number, like I was in Vallarta buying meat. No interactions. So I looked at Yelp again and saw on the top list Johnny's Barbershop who have great reviews from customers, unlike La Barberia who have numerous complaints in the reviews. I left and went to Johnny's Barbershop where my boy Pascual hooked me up with a clean razor fade. He was also friendly, humble, and down to earth. I would highly recommend and support them. I found my local Barbershop! read more

My husband went to Johnny's for the first time today. Khristy did a great job. She spent a long time making sure his haircut was just what he wanted. Her attention to detail was impressive. He is very happy with Johnny's and will be back the next time he needs a haircut. read more

Went to see Juan after years of getting a haircut elsewhere, I was real nervous and after sitting in the chair, I felt relieved when my hair was done. Juan shows his experience is well earned, thanks and will come again. read more

Juan does fantastic hair cuts. I take both of my boys to get there hair cuts here and they always come out looking fresh. Now I take my 3rd son and he is only 2 and Juan is able to handle him so well. read more

Always slow on weekdays mid day and the owner Juan that cuts hair is really good and fast. He's got 3 TV's, sometimes music on TV. I only wish he accepted credit cards, cash only. $12 a cut. read more

My son, who is 4, won't go anywhere else. He loves "Mr. Johnny" and will only let Johnny cut his hair. Johnny (the owner and barber) is patient with my son, talks to him like all the other guys that come in, and always gives him a great cut. The line can get really long...but midweek the wait is only about 15-20 minutes. The price can't be beat. read more

Quick disclaimer if you don't already know, this place is cash only so take out money before you come. This is the only barbershop I go to in the AV. My hair is always done the way I want for a good price. read more

Johnny's was good. I was not given the haircut I actually asked for, however with a slight adjustments at home it became a nice razor fade. I will have to wait for Pascual next time. read more

Great cuts all the time! Very consistent and always cuts it just how I ask. Highly recommended! I get my cut with Juan.
