Checked out the new black barbers shops on the East Side of Lancaster, old school white barbers (I'm talking about the straight blade type) recommended by my redneck buds. But today was the first time in forever I walked out happy paying for my haircut. I didn't get cut, knicked, scratched, someone putting their hand on my head like there trying to palm it, it was a great experience. Today it says it opens at 0900. 05/12/2026 at 1000 and I am standing here with 2 other people. I walked up one time and as I got close to the door and I can hear the door lock. It was a 17: 25 and the door said they close at 18:00. That's not how you treat a long time customer. Price has gone up to $35 a cut and service has gone down to a 0. Not to mention a bad haircut now and then.
