I took my 3 year old son for a haircut he desperately needed, the barber who attended to him was Ramos. He was very patient with my son, he provided entertainment with his phone which kept my son calm throughout the haircut. Came into the shop and the environment was cool, but my cut wasn't. Older gentleman couldn't blend one side as well as the other and one side was in-proportionate as the other. I paid 32$ with tip to have my cut absolutely ruined. Let the older gentleman know I don't stop by often since I go to a stylist and I wanted me hair shortened from what I already had. Just wanted a one cut on the sides (didn't ask if I wanted a taper or fade) and I wanted to shorten the top to one inch in length. The fool proceeds to buzz the top first rather than work on the side to "show me what a one looks like". My stomach sunk. Had he gone to the sides first, we would have realized we needed a taper. However, scissors are the most important tool whether you're a barber or stylist and I'm not understanding why he couldn't use a comb and scissors to shorten the top. The overall result left the sides looking incompatible with the top and the barber tried to cover this mistake by blending it with the top which is now less than half an inch in length. Will never come back again. I honestly shouldn't have paid but I'm an honorable man. I will be making sure to pass the info onto my coworkers when I go into work today as the general public I serve. There is about 6 barbers, they usually stay consistent in keeping the same barbers which is good. My son has been coming for a while now, and it's now his shop. I can't take him anywhere else. They get busy, fast... everyday it seems. I highly suggest calling to sign in before showing up and asking what time to show up. Overall, great shop. They talk shit, sports and life. This place sucks, I think that is cool if you have a job where the boss is flexible and let you pickup your kids, but they are super ssssloooowwwwww as fuck! I was there for the first time and it was about 6 person in front of me in the list and 4 already getting their haircut, but one dude the one answering the phone spend about 45 minutes cutting one guy hair and other one went to pickup his kids, then he sent them to buy food for him and referred to the people,saying "after this guy I'm taking my lunch" I was like wtf!!!!! He just came from picking up he's kids, ok two more options (I thought) because the one answering the phone it was clear that he was about to spend an other hour cutting his client hair,then the other guy called an other person and he said "when I'm done with him and I'm going to pick up my other daughter! WHAT!!!!!! Last option and 3 more guys waiting to get before me, and guess what? That MF said, I'm going to buy my lunch! Seriously? What kind a business is that? There is no manager that put some fucking order there, obviously they don't care what the clients think, we just have to sucked up if we want to have the privilege to get our haircut with them! Very unprofessional. It feels like a bunch of "bro's" just decided they wanted to open a barbershop, when they don't even know how to cut hair. The guy that cut my hair was talking about how he didn't like some customer that was sitting waiting to be seen; he said he refused to see him. He even said "fuck that fool". Found out he used to work at the place I'm currently working at; he talked bad about one of the current employees--said he didn't care that his daughter died and that he had cancer. Then he made a joke about some white lady being my mom because I was the only other white guy in there. I told him I wanted about an inch on the sides and back and the top leave about 4 inches so I could style it the way I like it. He said "don't worry, I got you bro, you'll look fresh"--the sides and back were a zero and the top was about a quarter inch. I will never return. Very unprofessional. Very rude. read more

I am 78 years old and stopped by this place for a haircut yesterday. It now looks like the barber put a bowl on my head and then cut around it with a pair of dull scissors, then charged me 12. dollars to ruin my head, then counted back my change to me like he expected a tip. Here's the tip - learn how to cut mens hair or find another way to make a living. This was the worst haircut I ever had since the one I got in boot camp years ago when I joined the Navy. Honest review my son had long hair and just wanted a trim and we didn't get what we asked for. Don't get me wrong guys are nice they offered us drinks etc. However not suitable in my opinion for younger children since they play rated r violent movies and some barbers (the younger ones are having a full on conversation cursing) I was a bit offended but didn't say anything. read more

I thought we had finally found our sons barber.. dont get me wrong..we had been seeing Ramos every single time. Hes awesome! But also very popular. He always has a wait. Today we called ahead first this in the AM. Headed over.. should have stuck with Ramos but decided to give the other available barber a try. Dont know his name but hes the barber closest to the entrance. My son coughed a couple times and the barber asked if he was sick. Told him yes, we both have a cough . My son getting over a cold but cant help a lingering cough. He refused to cut ny sons hair... working in healthcare i do understand about precautions and spreading germs. Germs are everywhere. They can get sick by shaking someones hand or opening their damn entrance door. I shouldve just stuck with Ramos.. anyway. I was surprised i wasnt asked to wait outside since my cough was "soo contagious" Too bad this barber lost my business for everyone at this shop... ended up driving to M&J barbershop and had my sons hair cut no problem. They really do not know how to cut hair and it's pretty pathetic. The guy who cut my hair thinks that a comb to the side look means that you have to shave half of the persons head and then just comb over what's left, and that's exactly what he tried to do with my hair. I had to stop the man and basically leave before he made it any worse, and the other employees were laughing thinking it was hilarious. I wouldn't recommend coming here at all. And to top it off, they have their buddies talk crap to you if you leave a bad review. Kinda pathetic and sad, huh? You would be better off turning on your lawn mower and sticking your head underneath the blades and still end up with a better haircut than what you would get at this place, straight up! read more
