Scheduled a injection procedure two weeks out. Received text confirmation. Arrived today -- no doctor available to perform the procedure. The woman behind me had the identical experience. This is a systems failure, not a front desk issue. Patients are arranging their schedules, their transportation, and their pain management around appointments this clinic is confirming with zero capacity to deliver. Someone in operations needs to see this. It will keep happening until it's fixed. read more

For starters, I have called several times and waited on hold for extremely lenghty periods. I finally got through on my third attempt. I have insurance but the female scheduler refused to book me because I didnt have my policy number with me although she verified that they do accept my insurance. Terrible customer service. They're in network w/ Premera but will NOT bill Premera for any service they deem likely to be denied, which is asinine because I'm going to go elsewhere now. Also, I didn't think that was technically allowed given that they're IN network w/ Premera...Last year I had the same procedure covered by my insurance plan ( the same exact one I have this year ) & Rayus did the billing then - no denial and my insurance covered it...So where is this new risk?? This decision has been implemented by their new billing dept in Minnesota and apparently they're just going rouge. read more

I'm convinced no one works here. I have called multiple times to schedule an MRI and I'm on hold for more than hour. I've been trying to schedule my MRI since October, I don't have time to sit on my phone on hold for over an hour multiple times to make a single appointment. Not to mention the one time I DID get in contact with them, something was wrong with the MRI order and I was told I would receive a call the next day. I never received the follow up call and am now sitting on hold again to try to schedule. read more

This was pretty much the worst experience I've ever had with a medical provider. They rescheduled my appointment at the last minute - twice. Then, 3 hours before my third attempt at an appointment, I was told I needed to bring a bunch of medical records with me. I spent the whole day scrambling to get them and bring hard copies, only to have the doctor never even ask for them. When I did finally sit down with the doctor, he rushed me through my explanation of what was wrong and frequently tried to talk over me. He did a extremely rapid (~3 minute) cursory strength assessment of body parts that were not relevant to my issues, spent about 15 seconds examining the part of my body I was coming in about, then declared I was fine and he didn't see any problems. I insisted I was not, in fact, fine, and went into all the previous care I'd gotten that led me to this clinic, and why I came to them for a particular treatment. He claimed that treatment wouldn't help me, even though I'd had similar treatments before and had told him they helped tremendously. When I insisted it would, he claimed they didn't do that treatment. He kept flipping between "there's nothing wrong with you", "we don't do that treatment," and "we do that treatment but it won't help you." I was so flustered. I have never been gaslit, ignored, disrespected, and talked over so much by a medical provider. I left, and will certainly never come back. If I could rate this place a zero, I would. read more

Recently had an arthrogram and MRI here. The staff at every point - front desk, technicians, doctor, were all very pleasant and informative. The huge needle was fine because of their prep, and the explanations provided before and during each procedure were good. The one gripe is the headphones and music during the MRI: it was worse than none at all. The MRI was so loud that the music was pointless and completely unintelligible. I've had at least a half dozen MRIs and all others had much better sound. If you come here for an MRI I'd skip the music. Otherwise, it's all good. read more

The WORST!!! I have never seen people treated so rudely. The girls that work the front desk should never work in healthcare or customer service. On my first visit there, I watched them treat an old lady like complete shit. It seemed as if they were going out of their way not to help her. Then, they treated me the exact same way both times I had to go in. I will never return to this place!!!! read more

My experience has been a nightmare in the scheduling/insurance/customer service departments. Twice I have shown up to appointments, which have been canceled. I have spent hours trying to get information from your staff with a variety of levels of empathy or helpfulness, from your staff. 1) An MRI canceled an hour before: Reason was given as insurance rejection. The appointment had been made more than a month in advance. I was not communicated with until an hour before and I was not given the option of self-pay before it was canceled. 2) An MRI that I learned was canceled upon arriving an hour from my home. I had called ahead to ask about pricing for self-pay in case my insurance rejected, (which they did.) However, instead of allowing me the self-pay option which I had requested of your staff ahead of time, my appointment was canceled. Polite requests did not illicit a response, I had to argue to speak with a manager and then I had to argue with a manager to receive a reschedule for same-day, but I had to spend an hour driving to the new location, wait for the new appointment time and then struggle 2.5 hours through traffic to get back home. This was a devastating last minute change to my schedule which cost me time and money, along with additional pain exacerbation through additional driving. Instead of an acknowledgement of any impact on me, or that I had communicated ahead of time that I wished to self pay if insurance rejected, I was made to feel that it was my fault. How? Because I could not pick up my phone the one time Rayus called me, the day before my appointment - it was in THE MIDDLE OF MY WORKday. I was also told that you ALWAYS cancel an appointment upon insurance rejection, without even giving your clients a chance to call back. I was also told that there wasn't enough time for Rayus to contact my insurance but once I asked your staff to investigate dates of referral etc, they saw that there had been around 4-8 weeks, so it was categorically untrue, that there wasn't enough time. Your customer service and timely communication SUCKS. Your level of patience, acknowledgement and empathy sucks. When I call, I need solutions. YOUR CLIENTS ARE USUALLY IN PAIN. Of the many things that your patients are going through and cannot control, the customer service experience is something YOU can control. I hate working with you and if it wasn't the least expensive place, I would never come here. read more

I am writing about the Rayus on 100th St. in Seattle. I was hesitant to book here due to some bad reviews, and already having had a horrible experience trying to book at Poly Clinic/Optum Care Diagnostic Imaging (avoid that place). I am so glad I did end up coming here. Everything from the initial phone call, to scheduling, to the day of exam has been seamless and pleasant. They accepted my out of state referral, and billed my car insurance PPI policy due to the accident. The front desk girl, Diana, was so polite, sweet, and helpful. She went out of her way to reprint a form for me to correct, even though it probably made no difference. She saw that it was important to me, and helped me with a smile. She is a true professional. Lem, the tech who took me in for my exam was also very friendly and professional. He made me feel at ease. The clinic is clean and comfortable. The MRI machine is a new model that did the scan in 12 minutes as opposed to the long MRI scans I have always had in the past at other places. I highly recommend this facility. read more

My experience here was very good. I don't like having MRIs because I am quite claustrophobic. When told this, the staff was very accommodating and patient. The technician made sure I was comfortable and provided just the right music to help me through the procedure. Things went very smoothly. I would go there again without hesitation especially because access was easy and parking was readily available. read more

Watch your bill! My insurance company reimbursed Rayus after I paid in full up front. Then 3 months later I got a bill saying I owed additional money. I had to call both Rayus and my insurance company to report the mistakes. Of course, that's 45 mins of my life I won't get back. I'm waiting for a refund... read more

I was seen promptly and my CT technician was awesome.

I had a good experience getting my procedure scheduled quickly and at a time and place that was convenient for me. The staff was knowledgeable and professional. I was able to pre-register online but still had to wait about 10-15 minutes before being called back to the procedure room which I don't consider too long. My doctor was able to receive the results the same day and I was told expect to receive my results back in 4 business days online, although if I had wanted them mailed to me, they were willing to do that for me. The only thing that bothered me was that the technician never verified my name and birthday with me to confirm I was the correct patient she had brought back. She did confirm what procedure was being done. I was able to visually verify for myself that I was the correct patient since the display screen of the machine had my name on the screen. However, I would have felt more comfortable if my name had been verified prior to the start of the procedure. read more

I have been to this CDI for an MRI and an X-ray on two separate occasions. Both times I was scheduled quickly, seen relatively on time, and treated respectfully. There were no issues with billing or insurance. My doctor also said the quality of their images is good. Definitely recommended. read more

However, it IS a business, and as they have the ability to tell you up front what it will cost, I think it is unconscionable to send someone a bill for $375 out of the blue. Having been here previously for an MRI, I opted to walk out upon finding the uncovered portion was going to be in the neighborhood of $300-400. I figured a CT scan should be somewhat less, and I was in fairly constant pain, so didn't think to ask them to check. So, by all means, have your diagnostic imaging done, but ASK FIRST how much they're going to charge! I don't plan to go back there. read more

I had an MRI on the lumbosacral spine because of lower back pain. It was ordered by a sports medicine doctor. But because my lower back pain developed into sciatic pain the next few days. I was referred to a neurosurgeon. The neurosurgeon pointed out that my sciatic pain was caused by the nerve L5 disturbed by the herniated disk between L4 and L5. However this herniated disk was not in the CDI report. I supposed the contrast of the herniated disk is not as vivid as other disks in the image, and whoever at CDI did the analysis just overlooked it. read more

Every one I met was super wonderful and nice. The atmosphere is very comfortable and relaxing. I was getting my exam I was so relaxed due to the people that were there that I was honestly almost falling asleep during my exam. read more

I was able to get in for an MRI very quickly which was great - and they worked quickly to get my insurance to pre-approve the scan. Other places had a long wait - for months, actually! The front desk was efficient and professional. It's a good idea to do a little prep work yourself ahead of time so that you know what the sounds are like while in the machine and to expect that you'll get an IV part way through the scan if you're doing contrast. I'd also recommend to tell the technician to turn the music up as loud as they can - the machine MRI scan is pretty loud. Bring a friend or support if you're nervous - it was nice to have my best friend with me waiting outside the waiting room. read more
