Went here after the Labcorp in Burien couldn't find my vein. They stuck me THREE TIMES and I was really worried. I went to this location and the man working there was so reassuring and confident he got my vein immediately. I wish I remembered his name but I will be going back to him for every blood draw now. I am bummed to say that I did not have a great experience at my visit today. The person working the front desk was very loudly complaining about traffic, using inappropriate language, and looking at their phone as customers walked in. At 2 p.m. on a Friday, after a 50 minute wait, I was one of 12 people who had to check in manually with the efficient, cheerful, and overworked receptionist because both auto check in booths weren't working. We were waiting for the one understaffed employee to poke them. I hope the blood draw isn't painful as the quality of care isn't what I expect. It was a good thing I brought my orders because they didn't have them even though the doctor sent them twice. At least they offer free wifi. read more

My first experience at the Northgate Labcorp location a few years ago was so great, but since then, I've been there two more times over the last two years and the experiences were not good. The front desk staffer is kinda rude and could care less about helping you. My second phlebotomist was not good at drawing blood and was also dismissive. I felt like she didn't take me seriously when I said I sometimes faint when having a blood draw. She did lay me back in the big chair but she also seemed bothered by having to do this. My third phlebotomist was having a bit of a breakdown and talking on the phone almost the whole time. Then the front desk staffer came in and chewed her out for talking on the phone which made her quite upset. I don't like needles so this made for a very uncomfortable situation having her draw blood from me while she was upset!! I just wanted to get it over with so I stayed, but it was so stressful, I decided to never go back to this Labcorp location. read more

Good luck getting your blood drawn without waiting 3 hours, even if they just opened at 8 AM and it's a weekday. I read reviews saying they were able to get a walk in but this was not true for me. Theyre severely understaffed and there was only one worker at the front desk there which looks very poor for this company. I felt bad for them. They said appointments were priority before walk ins, but even those with appointments had to wait longer than what they had scheduled and had to come back later. Good luck trying to get in for an appointment. Don't waste your time!!! Don't bother walking in either! 1-2 week waitlist at all locations in the greater Seattle area (even across several counties). Website says they take walk ins but this is a LIE! Don't bother trying. I went to the Northgate location as a walk-in--was there around 9am. Couldn't make an appointment because there was a ten day wait, but the website states they take walk ins. Checked in at their electronic kiosk which stated I would have a 6+ hour wait and could be seen close to 4pm. When I asked at the front desk, if there was a possibility of being seen sooner, the admin stated that they don't actually take walk-ins even though the website says they do. She also told me I couldn't be seen today: kiosk was incorrect, because even if I left and came back six hours later, it would be too close to closing for me to be seen. She also stated that people can sign up for a same-day waitlist online, but they rarely get seen, and that there were nearly 60 people on the waitlist for that day. Basically, even though the website states they will see walk-in patients, and even when people "walk in" shortly after opening, they can't be added to the waitlist, and "walk ins" don't take preference over people who put their names down on the electronic waitlist and never even bother to show up in-person. Try going to a lab affiliated with a hospital system or your physician instead. You are much more likely to be seen promptly and by someone who genuinely cares. read more

Kinda seedy. I've seen them be rude to the point I would have cussed them (and I am really good) a blue streak. Just generally bad service to others. That being said, they tend to get me in in a timely manner. The phlebotomists usually get my withdrawal in one jab. I must mention that the poor staff behavior has been by the Northgate reception staff. I've gone to the Colby in Everett staff and they are everything you'd want them to be. read more

This place has really gone downhill. Today I stopped in for a blood draw and the wait time was nearly 2 hours, so I made an appointment and came back later, at 1 pm, as specified for a 1:15 draw. The door was locked and others were waiting to get in. I waited until 1:30 and the door was still locked. I gave up and left, as others had done before me. No sign on the door explaining. Summary: "Service" is beyond rude, cold, indifferent unhelpful. And walk-ins are NOT welcome. The checkin kiosk just won't work for you. Until today I considered this location a great service and have used it often for tests my provider won't order. They offer appointments, but are booked out often a month or two in advance so I go when it's convenient and am happy to wait til they can take me. My last visit was 2/25. Then today I went to this location at 3 pm which was empty except for one person. I asked the cold-looking young woman at the desk a question about checkin, then went to the kiosk which wouldn't finalize without an appointment. Back to the desk where the woman was talking to a guy lounging around the office before she'd face me. She was pretty cold and unhelpful from the start. Question by question, I learned that: They have a limited number of walkins per day. That even though it was empty, they'd used up their quota for the day (they close at 4:30), that yes, this is a new policy, that if I want to walk-in I should arrive by 8 am. So I left and went back home. Now online I see that all Seattle LabCorp sites (labcorp.com) say "walk-ins welcome" with a caveat about appointments going first. Absolutely ZERO about policy changes. I wrote to LabCorp's main comment line and will see if I get a reply. I'm not holding my breath. read more

Opened doors 15 minutes late and then the staff spent another 20 minutes getting set up, despite the number of people waiting in the lobby. Oh- and they turned away more than half of the patients because they would only accept paper orders. Go somewhere else. This place is a joke. read more

I've been to the Labcorp in Everett and one in Kirkland. They had people at the front desk. When I walked back just to find out where I put my urine sample there was one person and she was the lab tech. Labcorp needs more people here or they should close this location. read more

I have had my blood draws at Northgate location for 6 years. They used to be much-much better at the beginning. In last 2 years, there were some problems with inexperienced phlebotomists and rude front desk staff. I have appointment scheduled for today, came in on time, checking in took a while (their machine is very slow). Phlebotomist was already running behind. I was standing there waiting to be called next. Instead, person who came in after me was called. Then I finally was called, 30 min later. Phlebotomist was awful. She is not trained properly, making unacceptable mistakes which could cause harm to your health. I am a medical professional, so I know what I am talking about. After 2 unsuccessful attempts to puncture my vein, she said she was going to ask her coworker to do it. I was sitting there for 15 min waiting. Nobody came. I had to leave since I was already late for work. My labs were not done today. DO NOT GO there - that is my serious advise. read more

This place was great. The check in process was easy and I only waited a few minutes after my appointment time and was in and out pretty quickly. The lady at the front desk came back and asked if I would like her to distract me while my blood was getting drawn (maybe she sensed I was nervous and doing breathing exercises in the lobby ). Ordered lab testing online. So when I showed up they asked me if it was a dr behind it turns out there was but I didn't know that. Got in with in 15mins with about 5 people a head of me. The odd thing was their restroom was not in their office and they gave me the cup then gave me instructions about how to get there and what to do in the lobby. The lab Corp in Matthews at the Hospital struggles on being helpful, professional and caring. I have had multiple issues with them not able to find labs, not caring at all if they don't and costing me time to call my provider n explain to them how to find the labs they sent, once 2 hours for something they should know already. It is either lack of training, lack of caring about their job or both. I'd suggest avoiding this office at all costs as this has been over 2 years and I will not go there again, and as i called my DR on last visit lady sitting next to me said she also always had issues, and they were very unhelpful. This is not comforting or confidence building from a health care provider for sure. Don't make the mistake I did of going because it was close I will not do that again. read more

I showed up for my lab appointment which included labwork and biometrics (weight and waist circumference). Their "biometrics person" was not available and wouldn't be for the forseeable future. So they refused to do the bloodwork part of the order, because they "can't just do part of the order, it's all or nothing". So a wasted visit. They say I have to get a new order for "bloodwork only" with no mention of biometrics. Then they can do the bloodwork. It's not my fault they don't currently have a person who can measure a weight and waist circumference. There is ALWAYS SOMETHING with Labcorp. Always. They are a terrible company. read more

I was sent here after being told this location had been quiet and could definitely see me. Huge mistake. At least it doesn't look like a third world country like some Lab Corps. To make this more interesting, I had paperwork to be billed to my company at the visit and it turns out they don't even work directly with Quest Diagnostics. They completely lied and took me in like I was okay with me paying for this visit. My company was paying 100% of the bill, and they mentioned they will bill them and that they work with them. Why would I go to this place if your not partner with the other Lab! Bad customer service, bad billing rep's, just not at all happy with this experience. Choose other location. There was one person to do all of the task. It was 1.5 hour of wait. That person was not even in a good attitude and made a whole bunch mistakes. I ended up with 6 pokes to get 3 tube of blood drawn. Awful experience. read more

We've been here twice for bloodtests for a small child. Both times the staff lavished attention on him, carefully explained what they were going to do, and were patient as he psyched himself up to get stuck. I was expecting tears; instead we were quickly in and out with a minimum of fuss. The staff was amazing! read more

I was blown away by the health care professionals at this location. Not only was I accommodated (despite me being late) but they didn't make me feel bad about it they were exceptionally caring for me and my discomfort with needles. It was quick, easy, and painless. Maureen was amazing. After a few failed attempts at my doctors office. I was sent here for a blood draw. I was told at the dr I had small "squirmy" veins. Maureen was a total pro and got my blood on the first try! I will be asking for her again next time I need blood drawn. read more

I went in for what was supposed to be a routine blood draw and came out very shaken and in tears. When I first came to the office there was only one person in front of me and she was upset because the lab made some mistake and didn't have the test that she was there to pickup. I overheard one of the staff members complaining that two people had fainted on them today about how it was a hard day, etc. Seemed very unenthusiastic about working there and had an off putting attitude. When it was my turn I let them know that I am extremely fearful of needles. We went into the draw room and they were having trouble finding a vein so they poked me two separate times. Both times they thrashed the needle around in my arm which was extremely painful and made me cry. After multiple attempts they called in a second person who seemed to be more confident and knew what she was doing. She took some time to find the vein and said she found it then stuck me. I can't look at it so I assumed that she was getting blood but after 1-2 min she said she didn't get anything. Then she said she didn't want to stick me anymore and to come back tomorrow. I'm covered in bandages on both arms and still am in pain an hour after the appointment. That was a traumatizing experience and I won't be back. read more

Had to post a review to rave about how amazing the woman working at 10:30 a.m on 8/27! (apologies for not getting your name) I've always dreaded getting bloodwork done due my small veins, Raynaud's Disease and overall discomfort around needles. I always bring a friend with me, because usually I come close to passing out and cannot physically drive myself home. But today for the first time in years the process was quick and easy! Not only was the phlebotomist amazing with me, she was single-handedly running the whole operation by bouncing between the front desk and drawing blood. She was incredibly efficient managing everything, and no one I saw sat in the waiting area for more than five minutes. I can't believe that it took less than a minute to collect four vials from me, seeing as that would normally take 5-10 minutes between trying my different veins and switching areas when my blood doesn't cooperate. Thank you so much!!! I won't be as nervous going to get blood drawn in the future. read more

This was my 4th and last time I will ever go here. You are expected to fill out forms online in the office, which is fine, but once I have finished that, I am told that my doctor never sent in the order. I am looking at the order that was sent to me AND LabCorp. The woman never looks up! She just repeats herself. So, we drive to the doctor's office who called her a "liar" and gives me a hard copy of the test. They even called LabCorp to make sure they have the test. I drive back to LabCorp and am told she is closing for an hour. I asked why she had not told me that before, and she just shrugs her shoulders while not looking at me. I drive to the hospital and have the test done there. They say that they have to deal with this LabCorp every single day! read more

The tone of her voice was absolutely not acceptable, she was not very helpful Neither and besides me there were three more people I got to see they were really upset with her .Would not come back here. I scheduled an appt, so I only had to wait a few moments, the woman there (wish I remembered her name) was lovely, efficient, and sanitized the waiting room before we got started.
