If only yelp could give 0 stars. This place is a joke. Stay away at all costs. I was referred by VA Hospital because they are the VA and can't do an MRI for four or more weeks. I showed up on time waited past my appt time (like almost all the other reviewers) filled out the paperwork and then they asked if I had a stent card (I have a stent and artificial knee). I had never heard of a stent card. I have had multiple MRIs since. The military does not issue stent cards. They refused to do the MRI due to "corporate policy". The staff was not friendly at all they are just there to collect their pay check. I am going to work on getting their office off the VA list of approved vendors. They are trash. American Healthcare has really just become a business. They don't care about you at all. A joke. Edit: Their overall rating on yelp is only 2.5 stars. I wish I could give lower than 1 star! They took me in 1 & 1/2 hours LATE then did Not do the Contrast which my doctor asked for. They followed with a letter saying I did not tolerate the contrast on a previous appointment & I was only there 1 time before and NO Contrast was used! DO NOT GO THERE !!! First I would like to say I had to cancel both of my MRI appointments that were within a week of each other that were made three and two weeks ago. For the record, I had stapedectomy implant surgery (left ear) approximately 15 years ago to correct my hearing. I was contacted by Rayus the day before my first appt regarding my stapedectomy implant. I have a middle ear prostheses which can be a concern and it does need to be addressed for MRI purposes. I have had one previous MRI following my surgery, any needed precautions or information was 100% handled through and by the MRI facility. To begin with my many phone conversations throughout this ordeal and process were all with Lisa. Lisa first requested that I CONTACT and gather any required information on my past implant surgery and if an MRI is acceptable. I would think that they would not want a layperson gathering this important data however she was very insistent that this was on me and I had only one day to request and submit the data they were looking for or cancel my appointment. I tole her I would do this but I also wanted her to follow up on the same since they are the medical facility! Following a half day of phone conversations with several helpful people, nurses etc., I was in receipt of a letter which explained exactly and in full detail the compatible MRI machine that is needed. A signed copy of this letter was emailed to Rayus the evening before my appointment which was on the following afternoon at 3:30. In normal fashion Lisa called me AT 1:30 on the day of my appointment at 3:30 to let me know that she had given the letter to radiologist and that they still were not sure about anything and again that I needed to cancel my appointment. I was given no details just that the very specific signed letter was not completely acceptable to the radiologist, and this was phoned to me just two hours before my scheduled appointment. Really!!! At this point I had already called and cancelled my appointment at 10:30 that morning because I was frustrated, furious and as usual I had not heard a word from Lisa, not even a courtesy call. This company does not know the first thing about courtesy. Every phone call except the first and the last was made by me to Lisa! From the beginning Lisa opted every time and in every phone call that I should cancel my appointment and have a CT Scan, well Lisa finally got it her way, I had already cancelled my appointment when she called me and had no idea I had even cancelled it. The ending paragraph in the letter that was emailed to Rayus from the House Clinic stated as follows: "The stapes prostheses used at the House Clinic are MRI-safe, if 1.5 Tesla magnet or less is used. The stapes prostheses are not compatible with 3.0 Tesla magnet." This letter had more information in the preceding paragraphs, it was on letterhead and signed by the head doctor at the clinic in LA. I have no way of knowing if Lisa actually discussed or showed this letter to any of the radiologists or to anyone of any importance since she could not explain why they still could not do my MRI. I do know that they should have been able to make a competent decision based on the entire letter which was addressed to all implant recipients and or MRI clinics and in my opinion and after my experience with Lisa, they should definitely not be in the MRI or people business! This was just all kinds of unacceptable going on with something that should have been just a small routine hiccup in their day. Find another facility, one that actually cares when they need to go that little extra mile. read more

This is the beat experience I have had with a radiology office. The procedure I had done was one I had done several times and of course I was really scared because of the past ones I had had done. This was the best place and doctor I could ask for. Everyone was was so understanding and caring. The doctor was absolutely great. He was very gentle with the biopsy of my thyroid. I never got to receive services from Rayus due to a canceled appointment. They state they called and were unable to reach me however I called them back 2 minutes after they had called me and had confirmed my appointment. No outreach was made the day of the appointment. This is terrible service especially when already I'm having to come in at 8pm. The girl at the desk was rude and dismissive. I will not be returning to this imagining location. My father had similar issues with Rayus as well, I guess I should've trusted his review. read more

My sister has received epidural steroid injections in her lower back for @ five years, has never had any problems. We did have to wait quite a while one time (out of around 25 visits) but that's a excellent record IMO. Staff has always been very friendly. read more

I only gave one star because it would not accept no stars. I am quite upset! I am currently sitting in the waiting room and have been for 1 hour and 55 minutes. I have another appointment that I will obviously miss due to the poor customer service! It is ridiculous to show such disregard for a patient's time. Maybe I should send them a bill because my time is just as valuable as the staff's time. I would leave and go somewhere else but, my insurance only approved the test through the end of the month so I do not want it to expire. read more

Staff is all very friendly. The first time I went was for an MRI and I did have to wait an hour for my scan but they told me I could leave and come back, so I did. The 2nd time I went for a steroid injection and again, everyone was friendly. I did have to wait about 35 minutes the 2nd time. The nurse & doctor who gave the injection were great. They made me feel very comfortable and were extremely personable. Their hours are great - they're open late & on Saturday's. Only didnt give 5 stars bc of the wait but other than that, they are great! I would definitely recommend them. FYI...it's FREEZING in there. read more

Reserving final judgement - but based on my personal experience there I would have rated 5 stars...Only problem was their computer system was being upgraded when I came in, and when the insurance claim was filed an incorrect code was used on the claim and it was denied. 6 weeks later they have'nt corrected the claim but are trying to collect $650 from Me! : - ( read more

They called and asked me to come early. I did and waited 2 hours for my test. Then, when I needed to be let out of the machine, the tech didn't even slide me out. He just leaned over and talked to me through the machine. I was crying and had a hard time breathing. If you want compassion and good service, this isn't the place. This was my 3rd visit here and the 2nd time I have asked to be let out and was ignored. read more

I had ultra sound an CT scan tests at Insight Imaging in Nov-Dec 2018. One was done at request of local MD and the other for an Rx by an out of town MD. The scheduling of appointments was smooth as silk, and there was no delay in getting tests done. The ladies at the front desk were friendly, helpful, available on the phone. They arranged to fax evaluations to several Docs, and enabled me to get a CDROM with scan data. The check in forms were straightforward. Privacy was protected without preventing delivery of test results. Both technicians were unusually competent. I'd never done either test before. They explained the procedure, and collected test data with a minimum of nuisance to me. The ultra sound tech was careful to respect my personal privacy. Insight Imaging is the best testing facility I've used, by far. And I used several recently while applying for insurance. read more

My initial appointment made by my doctor did not work with schedule so when I called to reschedule the appointment they were very accommodating and got me in only 2 days after the initial appointment. Check-in was quick and pleasant and I only had to wait about 5 minutes until I was called back for my MRI. Lori was my Technician and she was so nice, completely described the process to me and made sure I was completely comfortable...she even got me a blanket because it was colder in the MRI room. Everything went smoothly and my results were posted to my patient portal by the following day. This is my 3-4 visit to Insight Imaging for MRI's because I am claustrophobic and they have open MRI machines. This was by far my quickest visit and as usual the staff was great. read more

The staff was pleasant but the issue that I faced was with the billing. I paid them $372.19 out of pocket when Aetna says that I only owe them $185.81. I have been overcharged $186.38. It states on their website that when you email them, you can expect a response in 24 hours. I emailed them twice several days ago and have heard nothing. I then decided to try this by phone and spoke with a snippy woman that said Aetna didn't complete it yet. When I login to Aetna, it clearly states that they did. Oh yes and this was really paid for nothing. The tests were for the ovaries which they weren't able to detect. Completely annoyed with the fact that it is a struggle to get the money back that I was overcharged. read more

My appointment was for 5pm. I arrived at 4:40, filled out the paperwork, took a seat in the waiting room, and sat until 6pm. Once called, I sat in another room for 10 more minutes because they only had one working locker to lock up valuables, and I had to wait until it was free. So the procedure that I was scheduled for at 5pm actually didn't start till 6:15 or so. Sorry, but having to wait to be seen an hour past a scheduled appointment is unacceptable. And having to wait even longer because only one locker is usable? That's nuts. The delays totally ruined my plans for the evening. If I should need imaging done in the future, I will insist on having it done elsewhere. read more

THE worst care I have received in over 20 years nursing!!! first of all my doctors office and I had to go "back and forth" for almost a week prior to my procedure to just get clarification on what "prep" and IF they could perform what was ordered? THEN after talking with several staff and "techs" during this time and SETTING UP AN APPOINTMENT I get a call 2 hours prior to my procedure that they would have to reschedule it duE to a doctor not being there after 5 pm. NOW...the final blow(s) .....THEY made me take this "prep" starting at 4AM and staggered thru out the day of 150 mg of Prednisone/Benedryl PRIOR to my procedure! WHICH I HAD ALREADY DONE! I had to leave work because of how sick it made me. So now I'm sick, hyped up on steroids and missed a day of work....only to have to turn around and do this again??? I was anxious enough waiting to find out if this lump was bad or not??? But the icing on the cake was the patronizing, UNSYMPATHETIC UNproffessional attitude that I got from the staff!! It was like "ok ok but do you want to reschedule?" How can you screw up so badly...and not even offer an apology?? Then this manager gets on the phone and tries to do "damage control"...only after I insisted on speaking to one in the hopes of sparing some other innocent patient from suffering the same experience. He tried to use his staffs "chart notes" only they left him twisting too. They didn't document well over half of their conversations with MD and me and then tried to BLAME my MD for "just sending the order over for contrast today". Well if that was the case? WHY did you call and have my MD call in the prep 3-4 days PRIOR TO THE PROCEDURE IF YOU WEREN'T AWARE OF THE CONTRAST????? Obviously someone was? and yet the staff, techs, Radiologist ...no one..caught that the procedure was scheduled too late? I actually went through with the procedure the following day due to coverage issues. Not only did no one make eye contact with me...much less ask how I was or exchange cordial conversation but I ended up going to my doctor to get antibiotic for the cellulitis that developed where they inserted the IV for the contrast! Please folks, ASK QUESTIONS, SPEAK UP IF SOMETHING DOESN'T SOUND RIGHT OR FEEL RIGHT AND FOR GOODNESS SAKES BE CAREFUL! read more

The staff up front was pleasent. With that said, I had an appointment for an open MRI at 2:15, paperwork already filled out. I didn't get back to prep for MRI until 3:45. It would be very helpful if the staff called you beforehand and said you don't need to come in until x amount of time. People with chronic pain don't need to sit in a waiting room that long. My MRI was only supposed to last an hour and 1/2. It took almost 2 and 1/2 hours for the MRI to be completed. There were no mess ups, was still the entire time. It just took THAT long. I have Multiple Sclerosis, so I have a lot of spasms. When it was time for me to get up my body was so stiff, I started crying from the pain. I asked if I could have a break in the middle of it while the machine wasn't scanning and I had to get the contrast put in my vein and I was told that they would have to start all over. I had to go to the bathroom, my back and neck hurt SO bad, I just wanted to stretch. If they can take a break and give me contrast, I don't see why I couldn't go to the bathroom and stretch for even a minute. I asked for padding before the MRI started as I saw a ton of foam wedges in the room to place under certain areas of the body and was told no. It seemed very rushed, like they didn't want to fool with any of that. The noise from the machine is very loud even with headphones on. They put a device on my head that covered my face that had some gaps in it. It was very tight around my face. Every time the machine would make the loud noises the thing covering my face would vibrate and caused a terrible headache, one that I still have today. It feels like I may have a concussion because I keep getting sharp pains from the sides of my ears up to my forehead. A lot of pain. I will NEVER get an MRI that takes this long again. Highly disappointing from a healthcare facility. read more
