Another time, they denied me for an MRI because I have a piece of metal in my body. (Despite the fact that I have had three other MRIs in the last six months without issue, they would not take me.) And I was only told that after I was there, checked in, the paperwork, completed, and in scrubs and ready to go for the imaging. The radiology tech said he could call some of his other clinics and see if they would take me and they could try to reschedule. But if he wouldn't take me, why would the other clinics? I'm not going to bother trying again. I'll just go to the local hospital, so I know I can get help in a timely manner when I need imaging completed.

Since Larry didn't want to wait that long Cuz he'd be DEAD!!!, he looked at alternative services and landed on RAYUS Radiology where, for around $400 cash on the barrel head, they will scan your dingle and give you a dongle of your dingle. Well, count me in! These people were extremely organized, moved like a well oiled machine and we're awake at 6am or whenever the heck I wents there Cuz it was still dark. But the technician knew her job, the staff was punctual, the service was competent and quick and Larry got the fotos of the dingle on the dongle to his doctor months before his insurance company allowed him the courtesy of expiring on his deathbed. Yay! Thank you RAYUS. Postscript: I did not die.

Not so good: I had requested in writing at check-in that the results be reported to two other physicians who are also attempting to diagnose my symptoms. I was assured verbally that this would happen within 2 or 3 days. Almost a month later, these results have not been received. From my perspective, this is a big minus. I believe that the situation is due not to a lack of desire, but a lack of office staff execution and double-checking. The office processes should be improved so that these requests are not only acknowledged, but followed through on.
