We have had good and bad experiences with this location. A few years ago, my husband needed a…read moremolar pulled. We were referred to OMS by our regular dentist and didn't have a specific surgeon in mind so we were assigned whoever was in the office that day. My husband did not want to get a replacement tooth put in right away because we were planning on traveling and the required schedule would not have worked for us. When the surgeon consulted with my husband, and found out that he didn't want an implant, he appeared to dismiss any questions my husband had and just pulled the tooth and left the room. Soon after, my husband began to have issues with bone erosion in his jaw inside the hole where the tooth was pulled, and the hole would not heal. We consulted with our regular dentist over the next couple of years to try to repair the damaged tissue, clean up the bone area, and treat with antibiotics for the repeated infections. In addition, we tried more aggressive measures including hyperbaric treatments and IV high dose antibiotics to get the bone infection under control. After researching which surgeons our health insurance company would work with, my husband returned to OMS to consult with Dr. Chandler. He ended up performing surgery to extensively clean and repair the tooth hole area and try to stop any further erosion of the bone. So far, that seemed to be the solution for my husband. Dr. Chandler was patient and helpful to help find the answer to the problem that seemed to have originated at the same office with a different doctor. Lastly, our experience with the billing department was not very good. They worked with our health insurance to bill the surgery which was good, but they kept billing the wrong codes for the anesthesia. It ended up taking 9 months of back-and-forth to get the bills settled. In the meantime, OMS would send us monthly bills showing accumulated interest on the unpaid balance. Luckily all the interest was written off in the end.

Words cannot adequately express my appreciation for the successful outcome of my dental implant…read moresurgery. I am deeply grateful for Dr. Hall's commitment to excellence and the compassionate care provided by he and his entire team throughout my journey. He took the time to answer my questions, address my concerns, and guide me through the process with skill and kindness. Dr. Hall has enabled my confidence, self-esteem, and has made a positive impact on my life. Thank you Dr. Hall and your entire OMS team!

All 3 of my kids have had their wisdom teeth removed at this office by Dr. Benson. This last one…read morehas been the worst. The other 2 went off without a hitch. Dr Benson was nice. The staff was nice for the consultation and the procedure. The older receptionist lacked some business decorum and was slightly rude to a caller I overheard while in the waiting area, during my childs procedure. As I was amazed that within 20 min they came and told me they were done, I expressed this and she said that of course it doesnt take long, he does this all day. Not in a nice attitude. The other times I did this with her big brothers they had me park over by a side entrance and brought me back to my child in the recovery area, so that is what i was expecting, but they had changed their protocol, which is no big deal, but they kept saying this has always been their proptocol. I felt like i was talking to an alzheimers patient. The tech that brought my daughter out gave me the instruction to give the patient ibuprofen right away before the numbing wears off, but those weren't in the pre op instructions, or I would have come prepared to do that. They have to wait until after the surgery is complete to send the RX over to the pharmacy, since it has narcotics in it. I get that, but they also tell you to give the narcotic within 1 hour after the ibuprofen to be ontop of the pain, but that was impossible, because the rx has to go through the DEA, as both the Pharmacy tech explained and later the older receptionist explained when I called back wondering if the rx had actually been submitted. Walgreens couldn't find it in their system. It took well over an hour and my daughters pain even with my OTC ibuprofen is already at an 8 within 20 min of getting home. My daughter is going through a lot of unnecessary pain. It would seem to be more logical for the doctor to administer the first dose of some kind of anti inflammatory while they are in his office, so that while we go through the process to get the pain meds, our kids dont have to be in level 8 pain, waiting for the inevitable DEA process, which the surgery office is fully aware of, but didnt warn me about. They say to call if you need anything. I called the office when Walgreens couldnt find the prescription and the older receptionist confirmed with me that it had been sent electronically and when i said Walgreens didnt have it yet she condescendingly said that the controlled rx has to go through the DEA, so it takes a while. I reminded her of the dosage timeline that the tech at their office told me that we were supposed to give ibuprofen right away and to give the narcotic within an hour later and that timeline was impossible. She said she didnt know what to tell me and to just give her some OTC ibuprofen that she was sure i had around the house. Rude. I now know what should have happened, but I dont feel like its my responsibility to know what they know before I need to know it. They should have told me pre-op. Very very disappointed

It took time & patience on behalf of everyone. I had zero problems & very moderate discomfort that only lasted a few hours! My 2nd implant went so smoothly (losing 40lbs made a huge difference in my BP, BTW.) Again little discomfort & excellent care! When I felt there was an issue with the implant, they saw me right away! They care! I've even called about a possible issue with TMJ & where do I turn. Over the phone, I was given some reasonable advice, yet I was told they'd be happy to make an appointment to see me. At the end of the call she said "feel free to call again." I could go on they are that great!

They were very professional and so kind to her. They were also patient and understanding regarding some dementia issues she was experiencing. I can't fathom some of these other negative reviews; they are totally incorrect! As a new, impending patient they gave me pause, but my experience was the opposite of negative - some of these must be reviewing the wrong dental practice. I was so impressed I scheduled appointments for both my daughters, as we have been looking for a new dentist. Dr.Talbot was *extremely* approachable, helpful and informative, and did not feel anything drastic needed to be done to my mother's teeth. He could have recommended expensive procedures to help with her issue, if, as some of these reviewers claim, he just wanted to fill a quota. Conversely, he recommended she wait and see how she felt for a bit. He even sat down separately with me, to preserve her dignity, in order to get my take regarding a bit of her history -since she was unable to recall correctly some of her procedures and dates. Glad we came here!

The experience in November was good and so I scheduled something to get the remaining tooth I needed extracted taken care of. This office scheduled me and didn't even have an oral surgeon available at my appt. They instead, began trying to upsell me and completely wasted my time. I wish I would have changed insurance and not been so limited in options for providers because this company and all of the modern dentistry umbrella offices have only ever given me the feeling that they are more focused on saying what is necessary to get you in the door and focusing on up selling and charging as much as they can to the customers. I will only work with one provider in their office and missed a week of work to show I'm for the appt for literally nothing since the front desk scheduled me with someone who couldn't even do the procedure. If you can, avoid this place

It's been 7 years since my extended tummy tuck surgery and I cannot say how life changing this…read moresurgery was! I can also not express how quality of a job Dr York Yates did! My scar is now completely INVISIBLE! My tummy now, after losing another 50 lbs, is flat, like flat flat! And I'm considering going back for additional surgeries. I recommend his services any time I hear anyone mentioning they're interested in cosmetic surgery. I traveled from California after much research to get my first surgery and I'm so glad I did. Even if you're not local, I still recommend Dr York Yates. There are some inexpensive hotels locally where you can stay and recover. Trust me, he is the absolute best and you will not regret your decision!

2/5 stars -- Honest Review: Small Implant + Lift…read more I had a breast lift with a small implant (under 300cc) and spent over $12,000 hoping for a refreshed, natural result. I'm 45, have had kids, and had lost volume over the years. I wasn't looking for huge--just perky and full again. What I got instead was... underwhelming. Yes, the nipples are higher and my chest looks better without a bra, but under clothes? It's almost like nothing changed. I still look and feel deflated in the upper pole. I still struggle with bras because my shape wasn't corrected enough for the implant to "carry" the rest. And the worst part? The doctor made it seem like I'd have this youthful, round look--but didn't prepare me at all for what happens when you put a small implant under soft, naturally sag-prone tissue. I don't necessarily regret the lift--it helped--but for the price, I expected more than subtle swelling that disappeared after a few months. If you're thinking of doing a lift with a small implant, ask: * Will it correct the upper pole volume, or will your natural tissue still droop? * Will you be dependent on specific bras just to get the look you paid for? * Are they showing you realistic before/afters for your body type--not just tight-skinned 30-year-olds? Bottom line: If you're hoping for a noticeable difference in shape and fullness, a small implant might not cut it. Don't let a price tag or a confident sales pitch talk you out of asking hard questions.
