I am leaving this review today to commend and thank Liz for her INCREDIBLY friendly, professional, and kind words. What a ray of sunshine! I'm in some of the worst pain I've ever experienced in my life but she had me laughing on the phone and well on my way to scheduling an urgent MRI. I've been on a lot of medical calls in the last month, advocating so hard to move forward in treatment and testing. Most offices have made me feel like I'm swimming upstream. Liz went over and above to help me schedule, to provide information about the procedure, and to assure me that she'll do all she can to help. I'm shocked in the best possible way today - and I just want to say thank you. She really takes the cake! I have had nothing but INCREDIBLE experiences here. I've been in for two separate spinal MRIs and the front desk staff, the radiology techs, and the reports after have been thorough, professional, and incredible. I really love their open MRI and it was a great option for me. The radiology tech jammed with me to some classic rock and checked in frequently about positioning, how much time I had left, and made sure I was comfortable. read more

Don't try to make an appointment with Rayus if it is important, twice I have waited on hold over 15 minutes and gave up and went to another provider. If they are too busy to answer the phone to book patients I can't image how long the wait is to get into the office. read more

On Dec. 18, I scheduled an appointment with Rayus, after being assured multiple times that my eyes would be outside the machine (needed a hip MRI). The day of my appointment, I showed up confident that I would be fine (I have claustrophobia) since I had been assured that my eyes would be outside. That was not the case so I had to leave. The appointment was rescheduled for the open MRI. I went today, having followed my dr's instructions (and the pharmacist) on when to take the antianxiety medication. This, evidently, is against RAYUS policy --which they had not bothered to communicate to me or my dr. (I checked with my doctor's office). The only communication from RAYUS was to make sure I had my insurance card!!!!! So the MRI didn't happen. What's worse, there was no real attempt to fit me in quickly since they had created the problem. The earliest appointment they could offer was in April. Horrific customer service and communication. They made a mistake and made it my problem. read more

All the staff were great during my MRA appt. I'm extremely claustrophobic and they were so accommodating and understanding for both parts of my appointment. They answered any questions I had, listened to my concerns and went above and beyond to make it as comfortable as possible for me. read more

It was so hard to get an appointment scheduled here - from waiting 30+ minutes on the phone when calling, to having my appointment randomly canceled. On the day of the appointment, one of the CT techs came out and tried to tell me I needed to drink some random liquid - mind you I had no idea what this was nor did she tell me. I kept telling her no and my partner got involved and she seemed offended that my partner stepped in to defend me. I kept telling her that I did not want to take contrast for the CT and she seemed upset by this answer. It's such an uncomfortable experience as a patient. We were placed with another tech who is the only reason I even gave this place two stars. She was friendly and helpful so the CT portion was pretty seamless. She did share with me my options in terms of taking contrast and was respectful when I declined. She also helped me with figuring out how to view my results after the exam. Overall, I wouldn't come here again if I needed another CT scan. read more

after the awful and time consuming process to get an appointment, I am happy to say the MRI technician was very nice and the reception folks were pleasant. I had about a two minute conversation with the radiologist and was given liquid sedation, so can't rate him. I encourage you to fill out all the paperwork before your appointment (you do it on line), which I did. My results were prompt (probably because things were normal) and I received them via on-line portal. So if you have lots of extra time to sit on the phone and wait to get an appointment, your experience should be pleasant on the day of your appointment. read more

I went there because it was a medical reason, they booked me for 8 am and then when I reached their 15 mins in advance which they asked me to, they canceled and rescheduled me. I understand last minute changes but the front staff was very rude and tried to make me feel very unwelcome. I hope in future I don't have to come to this place. The radiologist was nice though. read more

They thought an almost 70-year-old Superintendant of a construction company just coming from work for a CT scan was drunk. He had re-parked his truck so the parking spaces on each side had enough room to park. He then hobbled to the door of Rayus!!!! WHY? because his body has been beat up from 50 years in the construction business!! They thought he was a drunk and called the Kirkland police!!! 5 police officers gave him a breathalyzer while being watched by the office! He blew a .0000 He went back into the office had his scan. Embarrased by what Rayus employees did to him!!! He decided not to complain to them about it. Until he found out later by 2 of his Drs. they wrote on his chart!!!! They smelled alcohol on his breath!!!! LIARS!!!!!HE DOES NOT DRINK!!!!!!!!!!!!! He is my Husband!!!!! I am so upset for what they did to him!!!!! read more

Small needle biopsy. After not warning me they would not do the biopsy when I specifically asked to be warned so as not to drive so far 1.5 hours each direction. They refused to do the process and would not tell me why. Most unprofessional interaction with medical people of my life. I will never go back to any of their clinics. They define what is wrong about corporate medicine. you have choices don't go to these people. read more

This has got to be the worst business to have service done at. I scheduled appointment weeks ago and confirmed appointment. Received email and filled out questionar. Day before appointment, I still did not receive call or any type of notification. I called 1030am day before to re-confirm and was confirmed. Received call at 455pm and message said that medical would not cover. I explained when I first made appointment that this was out of pocket and again said it was out of pocket. Person said that I was put back on scheduled and to come in. Arrived 0940 and person said she had to finish someone up. Waited and she helped person who just walked in door while I was waiting. Asked if I should wait and she said she forgot. When checking in, she said I did not have appointment. How frustrating. I explained the interaction and then was told I could reschedule to Kirkland office. I said no, Then was told I could come back at 3pm today. I again said no. Now told they could be seen now. Had to fill paperwork out. Be wary of this company. They asked for insurance info and I told them I was paying out of pocket. Paid with cc and got my receipt for documentation. Weeks later I got small bill, I called and they said they billed my insurance and this was the balance. They said I had two accounts even tho I was there only once. Other account had a CREDIT and they will merge the two accounts and send me a check. Still waiting. read more

I drove from Marysville to Kirkland for injections to hopefully get a better way of life in my lower back. I get there just before check in time and the front desk girl tells me my appointment was cancelled and they called me. I tried to show her my phone to tell her that they didn't call and I called yesterday and nobody called me. She was rude and told me, it's not that I don't believe you, the notes say they left a message. Do you realize how far I was driven and the Friday traffic to get back to be told your schedulers don't know how to schedule? You scheduled too many injections today, so screw you! I'm pissed and I am asking my provider to find some place more competent. Yes, I was rude and I made it known I'm pissed. You should be ashamed for your treatment of people and your lies. read more

Scheduling was impossible. 25 minute wait times then disconnect. Happened multiple times. Then, they waited until the last minute to get insurance authorization. The night before I followed up and they said my doctor never sent the medical notes, which is not true. They actually sent him two times. After rescheduling on me, they scheduled the contrast AFTER the MRI, so they then needed to reschedule again. I am here now and the office staff if extremely rude. I asked for copies of the MRI and was told the disc machine is broken. It's now 10am and I am still in the waiting room for my 9:30 appointment. read more

I had to go to CDI to get an "Open" MRI. My appointment was for 5 PM. We arrived about five minutes early and filled out a ton of paperwork which could have (should have) been handled online. We waited until after 6 before I got in to start the 30-minute procedure. We got an update, but their "it will be another couple of minutes" turned into another 30 minutes. The "Open" machine was not my idea of an open MRI. The bore was still very confining but had a slot to let me see to one side. Given my severe claustrophobia, it was very stressful none-the-less. The team working the machine was fine. Courteous and helpful. read more

I am very claustrophobic, so MRI's are very difficult and scary for me. the Kirkalnd location has an open sided MRI which made is so much easier, esp. when I was given sedation (Valium) to help calm my nerves. The best part though are the terrific employees. ALL staff members I encountered today were professional, super friendly, nice, helpful, respectful and gave 100% customer service. They made it (almost, LOL) enjoyable to have my MRI! There is a lot of parking right in front, office is clean and bright, and there is coffee, tea and water. I highly recommend this location-- the staff were wonderful! read more

Building was hard to find as they moved into a business complex but customer service was great and testing was affordable compared to the prices at hospitals. I was in and out of CDI in less than an hour for an MRI. I'll definitely use their services again if I need more imaging done. read more

MRI tech was great but they over schedule and don't honor appointment times--they were over ten minutes behind and didn't even bother to call ahead to inform me. Unacceptable and rude--didn't even apologize. I wouldn't put up with this from my doctor nor would I ever treat one of my clients like that--mistakes happen but they should build time into their schedule, apologize and when mistakes happen call ahead as soon as they realize they *might* be late to advise the client so the client doesn't waste time sitting around. read more

My daughter's doctor recommended an MRI following an automobile accident and back injury that was not improving as expected. They could not have made this process more complicated and difficult and "customer service representatives" who manage to be simultaneously condescending and rude. I have been talking to them, and my regular personal insurance for two days, and they have been profoundly unhelpful. I provided them with clear information that the MRI was covered completely by the car insurance and even had the insurance claim adjuster contact them directly to no avail. I would recommend finding somewhere, ANYWHERE else to have an MRI if you can. For example, Seattle Children's Hospital does not demand a vast number of bureaucratic hoops designed only to protect what is clearly a for profit business motive. Their only constraint is availability. How dare you call yourselves health providers when all you care about is money! Shame on you! read more

I had such a wonderful experience here. I hate MRIs! I'm a bit claustrophobic. But, they have an open MRI machine there and it's so much easier to deal with. I was a bit concerned at first because making the appointment was a struggle - the only times available were late afternoon for the next MONTH! I live in the north end - with traffic, I knew it was going to be a nightmare. But, then the scheduler told me there are Saturdays available for MRIs! YES! So much easier to get to - the parking lot was deserted. I only saw one other patient. The receptionist was nice and friendly. The technician was wonderful! I told him I was claustrophobic (I had a bad MRI experience once) and he was so helpful! He checked on me - told me how much longer it was going to be. There is music to listen to. He was very clear with the instructions and how things worked and when the results would be ready. The whole experience could not have been better. It was so peaceful! I would definitely ASK to return here! read more

This rating is based on not one bad experience but 3 of them. I went in for a CT SCAN and they told me to come in one hour early because they needed to inject a dye. No problem, when I got there I sat in the waiting room. Had to get up and ask why I wasn't getting the dye. Told me I had to wait to speak with radiologist. Continued to wait radiologist came out finally to tell me they didn't need the dye. I had to return for a second scan. Same thing = told to come in an hour early so I could sit in the waiting room for another hour. I could forgive the first time but it seems the schedulers just book you an hour early just in case. Third time needed an MRI asked my doctor to schelule in Kirkland because I did not want to drive in to downtown Seattle. Booked with Rayus. I arrived on time, I was asked if I had cardiac stents. I said yes, I was asked if I had the card they gave me 11 years ago. NO, I have had multiple MRI and no one has EVER asked for it. "They say - we changed our policy on Monday, my appointment was on Friday. I asked why no one called me about the change. Upshot is that they would not do the MRI until they received more information from the hospital records. Clinic manager called to express his apologies. I told him my experiences. Never got a call back that they had all the information needed. Eventually received a call from the robo schedulers that I could reschedule. I called and asked to speak to the clinic manager to explain that went into Seattle and had the MRI done yesterday. The person answering the phone was totallly clueless. MULTIPLE VERY DISAPPOINTING EXPERIENCES.. Seattle Radiology was EXCELLENT. Both they and my cardiologist said all cardiac stents could go through any MRI machine. read more

I had to go for an ultrasound of a rather *ahem* personal area as part of a possible cancer screening. I was slightly freaked out despite the fact that the possibility was low. When I got there, the front desk staff was very cold. They were efficient and explained/handled my paperwork well, but I got a feeling like I was inconveniencing them for some reason. But everything turned around when the ultrasound technician came to get me. She was warm and knowledgeable, making sure I understood everything she was going to do. The bed she put me on was very comfortable. She brought back the radiologist who was equally kind and explained everything he saw in my ultrasound. All-in-all, I'd recommend CDI. They're very quick: most patients were only with the technicians for 10 minutes (mine took half an hour due to double checking, which I was fine with. Better safe than sorry!). They're also right next to the bus stop, which is convenient if you don't have a car. read more

This really was a good as it gets. Once they processed the referral (same day it was sent), I received an email to access their patient portal. They had already obtained authorization by the time I was ready to schedule, and upon calling late Friday afternoon was amazed that they offered me an appointment for Saturday morning! I was going in for the high field open MRI due to being claustrophobic. The machine itself worked very well for me, it was a little closer to the face but being open on either side of my shoulders made all the difference in not feeling like I was too confined. I was also happy that for this machine I did NOT need to have a cage slid down over my head, as I have with standard machines (for a c-spine MRI). There were just kind of like guard rails on each side, and they put in ear plugs and tucked headphones down in by my ears. It was snug and kept my head in place, but not tight. Everything was comfortable and quick. They had a few pages of paperwork upon my arrival, but reception had highlighted the sections to complete which made it quick and easy. Maybe because it was the weekend, but once I completed those forms I was immediately taken back to begin my test. I also appreciated being able to research on their website and find lots of videos showing the machines and what I would experience. For someone with claustrophobia issues, I really wanted to know what I was getting into and those helped me a lot! read more

I am a little claustrophobic and needed an MRI on my lower back. My doc recommended CDI in Kirkland because they had an open MRI machine. I arrived and the staff was professional and friendly. The technician explained the process which helped me get through the imaging process with peace of mind. The whole experience went quickly and I was out of there in less than an hour. Everyone was friendly and knowledgeable. They were happy to explain anything and answered my questions. You can also sign up at the front desk to see your results online at their patient portal. It was easy to schedule an apportionment over the phone. I was told to arrive 30min early, which was needed to fill out the paperwork. I was seen on time and they even provided me a wheelchair. I felt as though the staff genuinely cared about me having a good experience. They made 40min inside a loud, pounding MRI as comfortable as possible with satellite radio of my choice. I did see someone try to come in for a walk-in and they were all booked up for they day but it did seem like they do take them if available. I would always recommend calling places like this before hand. When scheduling I was told you can be put on the wait list to get called if anything opens up sooner. read more

Super easy to get in and get out. Great free parking with easy access off I405 in Totem Lake. Primary Dr was able to send order in and get appointment the next day. Staff was very professional and knew how to get patients in and out quick. Technician was great in setting up equipment and expectations. Radiologist walked me through and answered all questions. Everything was smooth from check-in to procedure to the schedule they provided. No surprises! read more

I had a great experience at CDI in Kirkland after being referred there by my chiropractor after a traffic accident. I received friendly and courteous service from both the reception staff and the technologist who shot my x-rays. I appreciated being able to come as a "walk-in" patient (no appointment), and I was seen within minutes of completing my paperwork. read more

The staff was very respectful and great to work with. They were eager to answer all of my questions and did not hesitate to walk me through all of the steps needed to have contrast dye injected prior to my scans. I am claustrophobic and had an open MRI, which in the past have given me problems. I felt like my comfort was the top priority of the team I worked with which helped put me at ease. read more

great place great people. I went there for MRI for the second time. I found this place and staff worm and freindly.

Their billing is in shambles. Even when I called ahead and confirmed the cost of $800 for a procedure, they went ahead and charged Premera $1500 for the same procedure. On calling them, they deny that they ever said that the price was almost half; this after I have the estimate in writing from their reception. As usual, Premera was no help suggesting the "sort it out with your provider" route. And CDI billing routes to their office in MN where a rude and curt woman answers the phone repeating just the bill amount and refusing to listen to anything at all. Once bitten, twice shy. Will not be going there anymore. If I want to be price-gouged, I'd rather go to Overlake Medical Center (read my other review). read more

On a Monday, while waiting for my MRI, I asked the unfriendly front desk person to reverify that the results of my test would be available for my Dr to read in time for Wed morning's appointment. I was reassured, however cooly, that they would be. I was later handed a cd to take with me but it turns out the actual analysis by the CDI expert was not available for my Dr to review on Wed AM as promised. My doc was not pleased and obviously neither was I. I hopefully will be referred somewhere else for any additional tests. ( I would like to complement Tom who administerd the test in such a friendly and professional way - Proof that those 2 things can go together!) read more

My experience with CDI was excellent, could not be better...the scheduler had to follow up and rearrange an appt, and persisted to make sure information was correct. The office staff were welcoming and professional. I have gone to CDI at least 6 times (Kirkland and Bellevue locations) for MRI'S or Arthrograms (MRI'S with dye) and the employees are always friendly and efficient. As long as you aren't chlostrophobic, it's a mostly painless process. Just longish (Up to 1 hr), cold and really loud clangy bangy. As long as CDI is in network, they don't even make you pay up front. They'll send it to your insurance (not all medical facilities do this) and only bill you after insurance pays. And because they have facilities in so many cities, they can get you in for a test very quickly. And do have machine options if you are chlostrophobic. read more

I've had 3 MRI's and 8 X-Rays done here. The staff is outstanding!!! I am 6'8" and weigh 325 lbs. Their MRI machine is actually big enough for me to fit in comfortably. I didn't have to wait for any of my appointments, and I was needing a walk-in appointment and I also didn't have to wait. Good job, I recommend strongly. read more

This was a very good experience, starting with the first phone call I received from CDI letting me know that they had gotten orders from my doctor and asking if I would like to schedule an appointment. The person I spoke to was very helpful, friendly and professional. She accommodated my scheduling needs and answered all of my questions very patiently. I have severe anxiety and claustrophobia which makes having an MRI a very stressful experience. The tech that did my MRI yesterday was also very patient and understanding. He helped make the experience much easier. The front desk staff is warm and friendly, which helped me to relax a bit almost immediately. One of the best things about CDI is that they have wonderful hours, so I can get an appointment for an MRI in the evening or on a Saturday. We are very fortunate to have CDI here on the eastside. read more

I have to say I was not impressed. I felt like I was an inconvenience. The tech was nice but didn't say much and it seemed like she was just going through the motions. I was also not too excited about walking around the floor in my socks during a pandemic. Then they give you a disc with your images. Who has a disc drive anymore? I asked them to send a copy to my PCP too and they mailed it instead of sending it electronically so she could see it right away. Also when I try and look at them in the portal it just directs me back to the front page. So I called, at first medical records said they couldn't send them to my doctor, then decided she could. She was going to give me the number to fix the issue with the portal but forgot and hung up. I tried taking a different approach and emailed, didn't hear back so tried emailing again. Still waiting for a way to see my images and still feeling like no one wants to actually help me which is scary since they are in healthcare. read more
