These guys did me so dirty this past Fourth of July weekend. I will never forget it…read more.. My car needed to be towed this past weekend and K and K was the first towing company I called because they seemed to have a good rating. When I called them the first time I immediately got someone on the phone (which was a good sign.) I told them exactly where I was and where I needed my car to be towed to, and they gave me a decent quote. I told the dispatcher to give me 5 minutes and I'll call them back. I called them back 8 minutes later, and he picked up again, and I agreed to everything. I even asked them about payment options and if I have to pay before they arrive (so they know I'm serious). They said payment will be collected upon the tow truck's arrival. I said, ok, cool. Mind you, I'm paying out of pocket. Not through my insurance or some middle man company. I also asked them for an Estimated Arrival Time, and they told me it would be about 30-45 minutes. I said, that's totally fine. I'll be right here waiting. Just out of curiosity, I decided to call them back 40 minutes later to get an update on the ETA, and no one picked up. I texted the number, no one replied. I called again, no one picked up. So I left a voicemail. I called again, no one picked up. No one showed up either. I called this company a total of 8 times and sent two text messages and I got totally ignored when I had already agreed to everything and just needed an update on the ETA. If they were no longer able to make it, all they could have done is just call me back and let me know, instead of ghosting me. I couldn't believe a legit business would act like this. Anyway, after getting sick and tired of waiting, I decided to call a few other towing companies in the area. Most of them were disappointing (drivers not available, won't give me a straight quote, etc)... but at least they didn't ignore my calls or leave me hanging. I ended up using Stay Strapped Towing company because he was the only one that kept his word and came through for me.
