Top notch establishment with friendly bartenders…read more Arcade games including Golden Tee, racing, and basketball are fun and different from any other place in Clinton. They also have indoor Baggo for free, pool, and online darts. The jukebox has a feature in which you can take photo booth-like pictures. They also make the best White Russians in town. It's predominately a Hawkeye/Bears bar which takes it down a step BUT they are friendly to all teams. :) Also Slop has allowed several organizations to come in and bartend for profit percentages and tips when I was there which is great for the community in my opinion.

Pile into a booth with your kin or belly up to the bar for the win! I'm a big fan of their riblets, Slow cooked and slathered in your choice of sauce. My favorite is the Sweet Asian Chili sauce for a little kick! The onion rings and french onion soup are good as well! Applebee's is a great value, however, this is where they get you. Everything is a small upcharge. Want onion rings instead of fries? Upcharge! Want french onion soup instead? Upcharge! Next thing you know, the check is much higher. And if your in the mood for a cold libation, they got you covered. Cold beer and cocktails. The perfect Patrón margarita is my fave! Patrón silver tequila and Patrón Citrónge orange liqueur with a lime wedge served in a martini glass. They give you the cold cocktail shaker on the side so that you can refill your drink. It's smooth and not too acidic. Olé, amigo!

Looks like a general selection of booze but noticed a couple of nice bottles of bourbon behind the bar. The beer was cold. Waitress noted they were still a couple weeks away from opening the pizza oven but the menu was great. Lots of appetizers, sandwiches, bar type food. Cheeseburger and fries were both done well and good flavor. Date had chicken tenders and noted they were perfectly cooked, nice crust and generous portion. Will definitely eat there again.

Service was great (we sat at the bar) and the ambiance is bar-like (nothin' fancy). Good prices too. Took half mine home for another meal later. OH, almost forgot.... The restrooms were convenient and easy to access. The service was outstanding. Our server came right over and took our drink and appetizer order and gave us time to look at the menu. We were there during the dinner hour and there was plenty to choose from. Everything we ordered came in a timely manner, hot, fresh and as we ordered it. We ordered the combo appetizer platter it came with deep fried mushrooms, mozzarella cheese sticks, chicken strips and onion rings. One person ordered the chicken bacon pesto wrap and onion rings, one ordered the chicken strip meal with fries, and the last person ordered bacon cheeseburger meal with tater tots, all the meals came with the soup and salad bar. The soup that night was broccoli cheese and there was a nice variety of salad to choose to choose from. The prices were pretty average for the area.

When is a Panini not a panini? Well, when it isn't a Panini…read more The name "panini" is given to a grilled sandwich made from any type of bread. That's what I was expecting when I ordered their roast beef pesto panini sandwich, with sweet potato fries. It arrived sans grill marks. Whatever. My wife went with their Chicken Bacon Ranch Wrap. She really liked her Chicken Bacon Ranch Wrap. I showed her my "panini" and asked here "Does this look like a panini to you?" Nope, it did not. Anyway, so what did the non-Panini Panini taste like? The roast beef wasn't bad, but it also wasn't good. It was like lunchmeat. The pesto flavor was very light. It was served hot, but I had to salt it because it was so bland. The sweet potato fries were tasty. They had an unlimited soup and salad bar. The soup was okay, the salad was shredded iceberg lettuce with lots of other things to drop on it. Service was a bit slow for lunch since the bartender was also the waitress. The mens room must have been cleaned - when I used it, there was no smell and the fixtures were clean. The have at least 3 pool tables and some arcade games in the back. Lots of monitors playing various sporting events.

The kids ordered primarily mac & cheese and french fries and a cheeseburger. Service was super friendly, but I will say it was also very slow today, not sure why as the place was not very busy. We enjoyed playing the trivia games with the kids and our food was all tasty, although I will say my side salad felt like the lettuce wasn't fresh. It wasn't discolored or anything. It just wasn't that fresh texture so I didn't eat much of it. I did appreciate that I could get grilled chicken on the wrap and it was more like a pulled chicken, which I actually appreciated. It was very salty though. Kids enjoyed their meals, and my grandson has commented multiple times that he is addicted to the french fries :)

My first review was taken down for some reason. So here we go again…read more. I actually went back to this establishment a few times because I wanted to give Stout's Irish Pub the benefit of the doubt. I thought maybe the first experience was just an off day for the waitresses. Unfortunately, after going back, I realized it wasn't a one-time thing. Each time, I've found the service to be rude, dismissive, and generally unwelcoming. There seems to be a select group of staff who are very close with certain customers and will spend their time talking with and befriending them, while other customers are seemingly ignored. I've also noticed staff spending a lot of time on their phones or sitting at the bar instead of checking on customers. The overall attitude from some of the staff gives off major "mean girl" energy. It's especially noticeable because there was a newer staff member during my most recent visit who was genuinely kind, attentive, and good at her job. I really enjoyed interacting with her, and she honestly stood out from the rest in the best way. The food is just okay and, in my opinion, lacks flavor. If you order it to go, expect it to be pretty soggy by the time you get home. I gave this place multiple chances because I really wanted to like it, but unfortunately the repeated poor service and mediocre food have completely turned me off. I won't be returning.
