I started noticing that there was an unusual amount of water making my mat infront of the kitchen…read moresink soaked. This was around 6 pm so in a hurry I started looking up plumbers in my area. I found one whose hours were open til 7pm so I though "perfect", and I gave them a call. They had a 5 star rating. Never heard back from the 3 messages I left them. Neither did the other 2 companies I called. I would call that my good fortune, because the following morning I called what turned out to be The Best, GEM. I expected to be scheduled for the following day, but as luck would have it, they had a cancellation that morning and Ryan from GEM showed up that same morning. In no time he knew exactly where the water was coming from, which is not at all where I thought it was coming from, and he set about fixing all the problems. He did a beautiful job, and I didn't have to apply for a second mortgage. There was one thing Ryan recommended which was to replace the filter to my icemaker. I went out when Ryan was done and went to shop for a filter. As soon as I brought it home I called GEM and let them know I was ready to have the filter replaced on the refrigerator. The next morning Shane showed up and not only replaced the filter, but installed it in a way that I would not have to pull the frige away from the wall in order to replace the filter. I can't say enough about how grateful I am to know there really and truly is a plumber right here in Englewood that I can call and they will not only respond, but do absolutely beautiful work.
