My family and I have been bringing our vehicles to Ray for about 6-7 years. Over that time, we've had 3-4 cars or trucks rotate through the family, of various makes and ages. Ray has always been 1) highly professional, 2) extremely prompt, 3) totally honest with us (as near as we can tell--he's never exaggerated problems, hidden info, or pretended to know something he didn't). Bottom line: Ray has always done exactly what he promised to do, when he said would, within the budget he committed to. About budget. Ray has always been straight with us about options, as in, "You can handle this problem in the following ways--here are the cost estimates and the benefits." He's never tried to oversell us. Often, he's recommended the less expensive solution because it makes more sense for us as the consumer. That's earned our trust. As far as cost, as near as I can tell Ray has been very fair. I don't always want the cheapest solution, I want the fairest price for both me and the contractor. Ray's prices seem very much in line with the alternatives, and I've always felt we got great value out of his work. We have had a few needs that were outside Ray's scope because they involved a foreign vehicle with a special problem that required going to a dealer. But short of that, or warranty work at the dealer, Ray continues to be our first choice for any repair work on our vehicles. read more

Ray is a wonderful Mechanic to work with. Very helpful in emergent situation in which you need your car back asap... I have know him to be up late at night to get the vehicle on the road as quick as he can. He is honest and makes recommendation of repairs he see's and gives you a chance to get by in a safe time frame to get the money to make the repair. Always great with all kinds of vehicle. He has been keeping my 19 year old van on the road and I am safely driving it even though I thought she was ready for Padnos. Ray has always been willing to work with my schedule for dropping off my vehicles. He is able to service my older and newer cars, where some locations might no longer have a scan tool for a 20 yr old car. Ray keeps extensive records of repairs he has made, giving him the ability to check warranties on parts he has installed. Just wish I still lived 5 miles away. read more
