I was blown away by this company.. Moved from Edmonton to Vancouver in 2014. From the get-go,…read moretheir staff was so helpful and friendly. Barry even insisted on an in-person visual survey of my items before providing me with a quote. After getting a competitive quote for my move I decided to go with QHP. Their employees were friendly, funny, and incredibly efficient. Keep in mind, the move was from Edmonton to Vancouver (a 12 hour drive) so My girlfriend and I drove down the day before, stayed in a hotel and arrived at our apartment at 8am the next morning. Much to our surprise QHP was already there when we showed up and had half of the truck unloaded! The unloading was complete before noon. As if we weren't pleased enough with them being helpful and ahead of schedule, our final cost ended up being LOWER than what they had quoted us. (Not to say that will happen in every case, but we lucked out) I highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a short or long-distance move. Their efficiency mixed with their exceptional customer service make them a logical first choice.

They called to confirm, so we spoke less than 2 hours before the appointment. I told the estimator I would be there. On the way home, there was a major accident and I got stuck in traffic. Tried to get ahold of the estimator by 2 phone numbers and email, and they did not answer or respond. Got home 15 minutes late and they had already left. In today's day and age, you need to be able to answer a phone call to handle off-situations like this. If you can't even do that for an estimate, I'd hate to see their service during an actual move.

My review with the Mobile Klinik, Sherwood Park location, begins when I received a notification on…read moremy phone regarding a charging issue with my Pixel 6a. Google issued a warranty service announcement regarding the battery where there was greater potential for battery failure/explosion after receiving 375 charging cycles. As my phone reached this level, I was informed by Google to get my battery replaced under warranty at an authorized repair centre. The closest Google authorized repair centre near me is Mobile Klinik, Sherwood Park location. I received Googles battery notification just prior to Christmas. Upon checking online for verification that I qualified for replacement, I contacted Mobile Klinik and spoke to one of their technicians, explained the situation. Mobile Klinik had the battery in stock, however, due to the nature of the repair, often times the screen will need to be replaced due to cracking while disassembling the phone. As I needed a new screen anyways, a choice was made to hold off on the repair until a replacement screen could be sourced and provided. I called mid January to check on the progress of my repair and was informed that another Mobile Klinik had replacement screens for my phone and arrangements had been made to transfer the screens to the Sherwood Park location. Calling the following week, while speaking with a female at the store, I was informed that no record of my repair was pending. Further, I was told that the battery was not covered under a warranty repair (as per Google) and I would be charged for the battery, screen (which I would have been anyways) and all labour. The quote was in excess of $300.00; far more than what my phone is worth. Needless to say, I didn't follow through with the work. Returning to Google, I proceeded with an alternative pathway for compensation for the defective battery and received a pay out for USD$100.00, transferred to my bank account. I went online and sourced a new screen and battery for my phone at a fraction of the price quoted by Mobile Klinik and will be conducting my own repair of which I am more than capable of. I would not recommend and will not proceed with the Mobile Klinik Sherwood Park location for any repair or purchase going forward.

Things started out good. They arrived on time and got busy moving things. David even called for…read moreextra help. Then he told me they would have to leave to go do 2 other jobs. Yes without finishing mine. He complained constantly about how much stuff I had. What did he expect with a 2 bedroom + den apartment? I did tell him I'm the furthest from the elevator and yes that took up extra time. He actually said "You'd think she could take the small stuff in her car" to which I replied "My car is already full." He said "Oh you weren't supposed to hear that." I'm paying you to move so stop whining. It's your frickin job. They ran out of shrink wrap and one of the movers asked if he could use mine and they're reimburse me. That later was an issue. David and his crew left around 2pm and said they'd be back later. Hours and hours go by. He finally calls asking if they could do the last of the move tomorrow. I said No I have to be out of my apartment by noon. He was aware of that yet he seemed right PO'd like it was my fault. Said Fine we'll be there in an hour and half and he hung up on me. They finally show up at 11:30pm and David tells me they're not going to put things in the house where they belong. They just dump it in my garage. So now I'm left to find someone else to move my table, chairs, tv stand, arm chair and other large items that they didn't move. His excuse was that he can't be working until 1am. Well dude maybe you should learn to schedule moves better. I was beyond furious. David is a con artist and liar. When I booked the move, he said he used to work for the govt of AB but then the day of the move he said he still works there and he could quit his job and easily make more money. Well he doesn't work for the GOA and hasn't for many months. David is no friend and I suggest you find other movers. The only reason I gave them 2 stars is because the people he employs were good. I'd give David no stars if I could.
