We came to agreement on a price and he passed my info to the store. I was contacted by Andy from the store and we set up the sale; everything was fine, but then he called me back and told me he would be worried about it until the treadmill actually reached my house. He told me he had a brand new True treadmill in the store that he could sell me for the close to same price. This meant that I would get the warranty the comes with buying new equipment versus just a 2 year warranty on a refurbished treadmill. And it was BRAND NEW. After a few more questions from me to make sure it would fit my needs, I agreed it would be perfect. I purchased the true PS 300 and it was delivered the following week. The crew came and set it up in my garage and it has been getting used daily for a week now. It is great! The process to purchase the machine was smooth and the salespeople were helpful. When I walked in with my four kids (6,4,3 10mo.), we were kindly greeted. I asked where the softball things were, and the young man helped me find the area quickly. We spent some time looking at the many options, and found practically everything we thought we needed: bat, mitt, batting helmet, pants, ball, fielding mask, bat bag. They had lots of cleats too, but we already had some at home. When we went to check out, the man kindly told us we had picked out a t-ball bat, and he went with us to help find a softball bat that would work for my daughter. I appreciated that help in finding what would work well for her. Thank you! I would go here again if we pick up any other sports along the journey.

Titan Fitness Repairs (Paul Lafferty) was recommended to me by Octane Fitness (actually, the…read morecompany that bought Octane) as one of the authorized repair shops in the Nashville, TN area that could repair my 20 year old Octane elliptical. Contacted Paul, and set up a day/time to come out to look at my machine. I was concerned that he would not be able to do anything (since the machine is so old, and the company is now owned by another company), but he came out when he said he would, and took it apart to clean and work on it. He told me that he can fix most of the parts in the machine, except for the electronics (they don't make the circuit boards anymore), and was able to get it back to optimum shape. Explained what he was doing, and gave me some suggestions on how to maintain it better. Paul is obviously experienced with these machines, and didn't try to sell me anything that I don't need. Reasonable cost (especially since he had to commute to Nolensville from Hendersonville, about 60 miles), wrapped the repair up quickly, and was on his way! When this machine finally gives up the ghost, I'll give Paul a call to get his recommendation on a replacement. He doesn't sell any exercise gear, so I figure I'll get his straight assessment. Extremely disappointed in Dick's Sporting Goods and how this situation was handled…read more My 85-year-old grandmother purchased a pair of CALIA pants and tank top end of September as a Christmas gift after being explicitly told by a sales associate that the item could be returned through the end of January due to the holidays. She relied on that information when making the purchase and, frankly, was taken advantage of due to her age and good faith. When I attempted to exchange the item after Christmas -- brand new with tags and accompanied by a gift receipt -- I was told it was ineligible because it was 102 days since purchase, exceeding the 90-day policy by just 12 days. The store stated there was "nothing they could do." I went in store, used live chat, and escalated via phone, yet no one was willing to help -- not even by offering store credit or a gift card. I was never seeking a refund to the original form of payment. It is unacceptable that Dick's chose to rigidly enforce policy while refusing to stand behind what their own employee told an elderly customer. A 12-day difference should not outweigh basic customer service, especially for a holiday gift purchased in good faith. I am now left with a brand-new item I cannot use and a very poor impression of a company that claims to value its customers.

All visits are pretty standard and I usually find what I need within a reasonable time. They stay well stocked at this location, this along with keeping the store clean, organized and in good condition makes it a decent spot to stop by. I will say the one thing that is inconsistent with this location is the customer service. On my most recent trips in, I have wandered the full store for over 15 minutes each and not once was I spoken to...even when I entered and left the store. And it was not because the lack of staff. They were there, just not interested in assisting I assume. Overall, if they can get their service in line, it would easily be a 5 star shopping experience at this location.

It was like if they took dance dance revolution and turned it into a workout. It made my young millenial heart so happy. Several times during class I caught myself going "wheeeee". Mae's energy is so contagious. She encourages you the whole time and makes you forget that your quads are burning and everything is shaking. Every time I thought to myself "I need to lay down" Mae would hit us with a "yes, YOU CAN!" And I found the inner strength to carry on.
