Ok wow! Go here! Go here now! We LOVE this place! The food is fresh, the flavors are paired perfectly, and the prices are so reasonable. Everyone who works here is kind, and the owners clearly enjoy what they do- the place has happy vibes. Try the Tuna Sandwich, the Liverwurst sandwich and if you go soon get the Fall special... I don't want to ruin the surprise so you gotta go to get it

For some reason when my friend recommended this place, I thought it would be way cuter. When we walked it was pretty underwhelming and so was the food. They have a very simple menu so maybe I should have tried something different. Tasted like I could have made it better at home. The coffee was pretty average too. I will not be back

I'm so happy I found this wonderful restaurant and the staff is amazing like the food. Isaiah loves the smells and the owner will sometimes sneak out to give him a treat. This place is better than five stars!

Unique twist on house made deli sandwiches! Located in a tiny, rural town, Ray and Al's knows how to make a sandwich! Definitely worth a stop if you're near Galien or Three Oaks.

A perfect spot. Wonderful aesthetic decisions. Very friendly staff. Excellent sandwiches and baked goods. There is a warmth that is uncommon to find here.

Quaint little lunch & breakfast place off the beaten path but well worth a detour. Food was fresh and delicious. There were 5 of us and each tried a different sandwich and would order all of them again. Soup of the day (split pea) and beet salad were also very good. There is a cute mercantile area with Lost of fun goodies to take home. Service was amazing and very personable. Its the type of place where you enter as strangers and leave as friends.

What a fantastic breakfast. So happy I stopped by. I had a maple doughnut that was delicious. Didn't make the picture. My egg bake is light, fluffy & dynamite. Love that I can get some ruffage as a side. Great way to start the day. If you find yourself near Three Oaks? Go ahead and drive a few miles East na d treat yourself to an absolutely amazing meal.

This place is an absolute gem. We've been twice now, and have many more trips there in the future. Pics are from both visits. All I'm reviewing specifically is my sandwich from the last visit. I will say that *everything* we've had has ranged from good to great. There's no negatives at all in our experiences. The open space is warm, friendly, "homey," inviting. Staff if so warm, friendly, and caring. They seem to truly get what they're there for, and deliver it so well. Last visit, I went specifically for the highly bragged up Spaghetti Sandwich. I was prepared to be underwhelmed. Instead, I was overwhelmed, and will be back for another. And another..... and.... yeah! This is simplicity at it's best. A nice crispy bun, spaghetti that is cooked perfectly; just a bit of tooth left in it. The sauce was my concern, as I was expecting a gooey, dripping sandwich destroying the bun. They've dialed this in. Just enough moisture to make it really be a serving of spaghetti, but not so much that it ruins the sandwich experience. If you're avoiding carbs, who cares; order one anyway and be pleasantly surprised. Support these folks with frequent visits. You'll be pleased. And you'll be helping the first new business in Galien I believe in years. It's a beautiful drive, and a totally enjoyable destination

Love the decor!

All I can say, is delicious... Everything! A quick drive from Union Pier and New Buffalo... Totally worth the trip.

I really enjoyed my lox bagel and thought it was one of the best I've had!! The flavors were nicely balanced with the onion, capers, cream cheese and lox. I was able to eat it easily and get a little piece of everything in each bite. The bagels seem smaller than average, but who needs giant bagels anyway? I found these to be reasonably sized. Big overstuffed bagels that fall apart while you eat them - lox sliding all over the place - are really annoying. These were satisfying without making you feel gross after. The coffee selection exceeded our expectations. We shared a chemex for 2. They had a few single origin coffees to choose from and we had their pink bourbon Columbian. We enjoyed our coffee and bagels outside in their seating area and this was once of my favorite parts of our trip! We didn't have to wait too long, but as we were finishing, a long line was forming down the block. Consider getting there a little early!
