This was undoubtedly the most disappointing dining experience I have ever had in Stockholm. I created this account specifically for this review, because never before in all my days have I paid such a price for what I can only call a horrific dining experience. From it's flippant service and tacky pseudo Katakana logo, to the crammed seating and sub-par menu selection, Raw cannot be recommended to anyone looking for a decent, respectable meal. Everything was over-sauced and overly sweet, taking away from the flavor of the raw ingredients. The sashimi looked promising, but the small, stale-looking cuts were sad and disappointing. Now for the kicker, we made the unfortunate decision of ordering the array of meat skewers, which honestly sounded great on the menu. However, our taste buds were accosted by gasoline-soaked bits of meat with a flavor so thoroughly penetrated by the taste of a butane torch, that we couldn't even distinguish the kind of meat we were so hesitantly consuming. No doubt this carcinogenic meal has taken years off of our young lives. Beware of their fried tuna rolls, the taste and consistency of which can be quite easily and accurately compared to KFC's fried chicken bucket. I cannot in good conscience recommend Raw to anyone hungry enough to continue eating past the appetizers. The mojitos were alright, and they do have a decent selection of Japanese beers. But I am still left wondering why on earth they decided to turn high quality raw ingredients into tiki torch fuel. read more
