Stay away if you are looking for traditional American toppings like pepperoni, but if you are open-minded, then you'll be delighted to find choices that are unique like pulled spicy beef to bizarre like grasshopper. Of course being not so adventurous, I chose the less crazy option of the spicy beef and it was delicious! The amount of cheese is great, the spiciness is on-point, and everything is perfect. With the side of roasted blue corn and a cup of "Jamaica" water (a sweet water from Jamaica flower extract), it's the perfect pizza stop solo or with friends! Did I mention that all the pizza crust is made from blue corn? The taste and the texture of Pixza's crust makes all the difference. It's not cheap as a slice and a cup of Jamaica water is $90, but it's really worth it! You are also in luck if you can't speak Spanish, because everyone here speaks fluent English. Especially if you are walking from Insurgente to Angel of the Independence or staying in the area, I highly recommend dropping by for an unique Mexican blue corn pizza! --- tl;dr version: 1) Awesome Mexican-style hipster blue corn pizza 2) Peculiar topping choices like corn and grasshoppers 3) Somewhat expensive but totally worth it!

We came here for lunch yesterday because we were in the mood for hopefully real pizza. The problem…read morewith this city and their pizza, is that the crust is always super dry, and they barely ever add sufficient sauce to the pizza. I've seen it so many times where the locals here will actually add ketchup to their pizza. It's the weirdest thing that I've ever seen. So we had high hopes that this pizza restaurant would deliver something better. There was only one other couple eating inside of the restaurant, and we were thankful for that because the inside is super small. We went ahead and ordered just a regular pepperoni pizza and two small drinks. Not many words were spoken with the worker behind the counter, but he went right to work in preparing our pizza. The little wait was well worth it, because the pizza was awesome! It wasn't typical NY style pizza, but definitely much better than our previous pizza experiences here.

The wine selection is not that vast, but it's a small place so don't expect much in this department. The windows/doors pretty much remain open so bring a sweater for the colder months. We loved that you could do a half and half of the pizza. We got the pesto and the pepperoni (I believe) and that was a 12/10. For our appetizer, we got the focaccia bread which was basically another pizza because of its size and that was also delicious. The drinks were just okay, nothing really special or memorable. The servers were kind and did a great job explaining everything on the menu!

Have to stay all the food was excellent- but sadly all served cold and it wasn't a packed house. They really missed out on an easy opportunity to optimize the tasting experience. Oddly they only had one bottle of wine left to sell us and we weren't able to sample so had to gamble but it turned out to be delicious (also most pricey on the menu). We ordered the prosciutto melon burrata salad which was excellent and could easily feed three - four people. The artichokes were a wasted order. 3/4 of the dish was inedible abd while pretty, a waste of money. The truffle pizza and sauce on the spinach ravioli was delightfulll- but again, cold- which was a huge bummer because I feel we would have enjoyed it 1000% more had it been on a hot plate. The crust on the pizza was light, crispy and doughy on the inside which is my favorite. Overall would return if they finessed the expediting.
