Pizza Nosferatu

Sick lil spot in CDMX. Two page long beer list stocked by the bottle shop next door along with a mezcal selection.

1/2 Pepperoni and 1/2 Pizza Fresca

I have lived in Italy and also in NYC and this is some of the finest pizza I've ever had anywhere. Bravo for the pizza and the vibes! I went here 3 times in 2 weeks I loved it so much. And, it's right next to a craft beer store so you get the perfect compliment for your pizza. The staff are all very friendly and fast. The woman making the pizza - 1st night - I got the Nosferatu which has spinach, ricotta, and...wait for it...fresh ginger. What an unexpected combination and so so good. Time #2 - 1/2 Pepperoni and 1/2 Pizza Fresca (Cut fresh cherry tomatoes, mozzarella, brie, arugula, garlic, and pistachio paste) - Outstanding. My favorite combo of all three times. Third time - 1/2 Primavera (Primavera (Provolone, ricotta, serrano ham, arugula, fresh cherry tomatoes, and parmesan. Outstanding again.) and 1/2 Pina Express (Dehydrated pineapple, ham, crystallized ginger and some things I can't remember) - I didn't like the Pina Express. Too sweet for me. The primavera was OK. Pizza was cooked perfectly again.

Ok, you're not in Mexico for pizza. Well, change your mind and head over here for great wood fired pizza and margaritas. Sidewalk seating with lots of greenery. Possibly the best pizza I've ever had. And did I mention there's a retail mezcal and beer store with it? I'm not going to bother telling you about the pizza. See the photos and head on over. PS Yelp has wrong hours and it is now open on Monday.

Bypass pizza. Very good.

This is just a really cool spot. Seats right on the sidewalk, pizza making in a tiny space right in front of you, and a tequila place right next door, that acts like part of the pizza place. Very good mezcal cocktails. My wife and I were really happy we found this place, and enjoyed the ambience and pizza immensely. I liked my pizza more than hers, but she liked hers more than mine, so I guess we chose wisely. She had the Nosferatu, which had a pistachio cream on top, kind of strange, but she liked it. I had the bypass, appropriately named, and enjoyed it very much.

Watching the pizza being made.

The quality of every ingredient came together beautifully into a yummy pizza experience. The service was with a smile so that helped too.

Nosferatu is a small, top-rated pizzeria in Condesa. My wife, five-year-old daughter, and I stopped by on a Sunday afternoon around 1:30 p.m. for lunch in July. Here's our experience: 1) Food: They have a number of pizza options and you can order a whole pie or a small. To feed three of us, we ordered their Hawaiian pizza and it was so good. It comes with sesame seeds, ginger and some sauce, making it very unique, but very good. All three of us loved it! 2) Drinks: With a wine and liquor shop attached, order the sauvignon blanc. It's very refreshing and pours of healthy. 3) Space: There's outdoor seating and bar seating along the sidewalk. It's designed how a small shop should be in a cool city like CDMX.

I was excited to check this place out but my expectations fell flat. I wasn't impressed with the quality of ingredients and their signature pizza wasn't anything to scream home about. If it came down to take it or leave, I'd leave it

Queen Margarita!

WOW.. one of the finest pizza place we have been to. Our group was big and we arrived near closing time. The service was excellent. 9 of us and we devoured 8 pizza .. they were that good. The QUEEN MARGARITA was our group favorite a perfect margarita topped with tomato medley and crispy lattice if Parmesan cheese. The 2 nd favorite was a simple, thin crispy Margarita that had a perfect combination of cheese and sauce ( did I detect a hint of ginger in the sauce?) and fresh basil that takes your taste buds to a different level. The 3 rd choice was the spicy Pesto pizza.... Aromatic pesto was perfectly seasoned on a thin and crispy pizza pie topped with pickled Serrano.Mmmmm it was so delicious. This place lives up-to the reputation. We will definitely be back!

This place rocks! All the pizzas were amazing. The staff was so nice and the vibe was fabulous. The only thing is I wish there was more seating but it is what it is. We ordered 4 pizzas to share for 6 people. Full size and it was just perfect.

Potentially one of the best pizza places I've been to! Definitely the most creative toppings that you don't think work together but somehow do. Seating is a bit limited. Highly recommend the Henri Burrata and Queen Margarita. Pina Express if you like pineapple on pizza (it's an interesting take)

Amazing pizza in Mexico City. The wait time wasn't bad at all and all of the pizzas were pretty original and the flavors were amazing!

OK, I simply did not like this pizza at all. It's more like a Chicago deep dish style of pizza…read morewhich is not my style at all. That said, my Mexican friend, Paulina loves this place. The service was great and the vibes were good. Just not my style of pizza.

I must say this place is NOT for everyone, it is right on the street and has lots of pedestrian…read moretraffic and car noise, it often gets super crowded (best to go at off times or US eating times, as Mexican Culture tend to eat later), and all the staff seem to be tatted head to toe (I'm pretty tatted myself so I found it cool)... NOW with all that said the Pizza is Simply Excellent!!! I'm from CT and our state wins best Pizza in the USA almost every year. Some people say NYC but trust me NYC pizza is trash compared to CT. Its NOT CLOSE, Especially Bridgeport and New Haven CT. Sorry for my digression but I wanted to make the point that I am a pizza guy and that I have eaten it all over the world. When it comes to pizza I like all different types from funky pies in South Beach Miami, to avocado toppings in Cali, Big Thick Slices in Chicago to the Thin Crust Apizza Kings in New Haven CT, I love it all. Hot, Warm, Cold the Next Day. If it's good pizza I'm eating it. This place was actually my Thanksgiving Meal pic since we were outside the US celebrating this year and I wanted something that wasn't a Mexican restaurant and was a Big Hearty Meal. I looked around at reviews before I decided and this seemed to be the online favorite for a good pie in the area. Full disclosure I cheated and got a slice the night before to sample the place just to make sure I was going to enjoy my Thanksgiving Dinner. Ok so we got split a medium pie (they don't do large pies) and we went half Mashed Potato and Pepperoni (my pick) and half Caritas (Wifey's pick). Carintas is a meat type taco topping and boy was it tasty. They even gave us limes to squeeze on top so to get the full experience. As for the mashed potatoes that is my favorite pizza topping to date. Though it sounds highly weird and not something you would want to try trust me once you do it you will never go back. And every friend I have let try a slice is in 100% aggreance with me. As for the Pepperoni that really was the star of the show. One of the 2 best Pepperonis I have EVER had in my life. The other being Salernos in Stratford, CT. Shoutout to them. This Pepperoni was Amazing. I loved it so much that I could fill up a bathtub and bathe in it. Yeah it was THAT GOOD. We loved both of our pizza flavor choices and decided we both would have 2 slices of each flavor as the medium pizza comes in 8 slices. The pizza was of medium thickness but with all the toppings is was plenty and I would say it was almost as filling as a typical large pie. My wife actually could only eat 3/4 slices and said the last mashed potato and pepperoni was all mine which I happily accepted and took home for breakfast pizza the next day. I love cold pizza and this one was a great cold choice (again don't knock the mashed potato pizza till you try it, its life changing). Final thoughts: If your looking for an EPIC weird and wacky pizza in Mexico City and like casual dining this is Definitely The Place. We loved our experience and will definitely be back when in Mexico City.

Just as the saying goes regarding NYC pizza tasting the way it does because of the water, I believe the same goes for ALL pizza in different parts of the world. As such, we have developed this weird fixation on trying pizza from different cities in the world to assess the dough and, in general, to get a sense of the local take on the pizza development process. Pizza Felix was a buzzy enough candidate in CDMX for this experiment. Plus, it served as a break from the constant onslaught of heavy Mexican food, haha. First off, the natural, outdoor dining area was such a vibe. I stress a visit after the sun goes down just to savor the moody, low-lit atmosphere brought to life playfully by the colorful lighting strewn carefully in the greenery above. Now, onto the pizza! Felix co-opts a Neapolitan-style pizza. We ordered the Ricotta Fonduta (295 MXN; ricotta, mozzarella, pecorino, caramelized onions, and parsley.). The dough was of a neutral quality and thin crusted to a point; toppings were fresh and bursting with flavor. Also ordered were the Meatballs for 275 MXN. These were rather bland, dry and a bit cold and were what really soured the experience because they were border-line disgusting. On that note, stick to the pizza and you'll be golden! Somehow, it was not busy when we arrived just after 7pm on a Thursday, but it really picked up at 8pm. Music also increased in volume and drinks were pouring with large groups gathering, tourists and locals alike. Pizza Felix is quite the established destination in the city and one you would not have regrets over visiting, even while in Mexico.
