They can be triggered by something as simple as someone taking my blood pressure or obviously larger procedures and or tests. Today I had my first colonoscopy. Needless to say, I was terrified. From the moment I entered the office I felt at ease. It was bright, modern and clean. The staff was friendly and welcoming and I was able to witness the care that the nurses had when they were walking finished patients out to meet up with their loved ones. So kind and caring. I had the pleasure of being taken care of by Sarah. She was cheerful, positive and informative. Just enough information to keep me informed but not stress me out! Once I was changed, prepped and rolled into the exam room, I was welcomed by Dr. Coronel and the anesthesiologist Paul. They were both wonderful. They allowed me to ask questions and reassured me that I would be fine. We even shared a few laughs just before they sent me into dreamland. I woke up in recovery in what felt like 5 minutes. I was greeted the moment I opened my eyes by Sarah. She got me water and crackers and explained the discharge procedures. She was followed by the doctor who informed me of my results. See you in 5 years! Thank goodness. This office is a well oiled machine. No waiting around. No moody people. Everyone working as a team to make their patients feel comfortable and important. Thank you for making my experience a positive one. You have no idea how scary this can for someone who suffers from irrational anxieties. I highly recommend this office! Agreed I should stay overnight for endoscopy, he spoke with Dresnick - I saw him speak to him and even confirmed with a phone call at the end of his shift that Dresnick would do the scope. I was instructed to not eat or drink in the ER all night, all morning. Dresnik sent his PA, Michelle, the next morning who was cold and rude to tell me he was not doing the scope, it wasn't an emergency. His PA said he didn't even know who I was. Complete lie!!!! Then she stepped out to speak to with a nurse about Botox and a new boyfriend. I chose my health over my job when I decided to stay overnight in the ER (cancel important meetings at work) just to have my time wasted by Dresnik and his schedule.

When I went in for my scheduled colonoscopy, I was kept waiting several hours before I was taken into the procedure room. I made a follow up appointment and was called that afternoon that the doctor was unavailable but she can call me later that day they would call to check me in to obtain my co-pay who charges a co-pay for a follow up to a procedure. I've never had to do that before they called me to check in 30 minutes after they said they would and the doctor would be calling me in 10 minutes. It is now an hour later and I still haven't received a call. I'm going into the office to collect my records and will never use this facility again.
