When I was recently looking for him to possibly transfer a 3rd embryo in the future- I came to find out that you can indeed transfer over to his office with your embryos if you want him to take on your future care. When i found out he wasn't with NW anymore I was so sad because theres no one else I trust more. He's 2 for 2! I have my two beautiful children through IVF with the guidance of Gabe. He makes you feel calm, confident and at ease going through such a procedure. I always tell friends that are going through fertility troubles that IVF isn't such a big deal, but maybe thats because I had the best doctor. From your appointments with medications, procedures, retrievals and transfers his bedside manor was notable. I think that is the most important part about staying calm and in control of the process. Yes, it is a busy office, and yes, you do have to wait sometimes, but that is because once you are in the exam room, you have the doctors full attention. He is thorough and explains things to me in a straight forward manner. He makes me feel like a partner in my treatment plan, not just someone to bill. I joke that I hope I die before he retires because I don't want to find another Endocrinologist.

The front desk associates are not well trained, and will often times present incorrect information to patients. Be careful asking them questions, you will get one answer, only to find out down the line that it is something completely different. They do not answer the phone, which can be confirmed simply by visiting them. The phone will ring off the hook, and not one associate will make a move to answer it. The doctors at this location always seem to be in a rush. I don't know if they overbook appointments, or if they are in a rush to get to lunch. Make sure to have all of your questions written down ahead of time so you can charge through them as quick as possible. Do yourself a favor, review other Endocrinologists in the region. This one is not the one for you.

Yet i saw him passing by the room with a smile when looking at me as he passed back an forth. A nasty assistant came twice to me giving me the dirtiest look i ever received in a doctor's office, telling me I have to wait. And I waited for an hour and a half until I could not wait any longer and left the office unattended. Dr Kugler, the other doctor, (sorry I forgot his name) and his assistance and staff were revengeful with me and the most nastier group I ever met.

Absolutely appalled by the behavior of the office receptionist. When I showed up for my scheduled…read moreappointment, which I took off of work for, I was told by the receptionist that they changed my appointment and tried to call me but were unsuccessful. I responded, "was only one attempt made." The receptionist stated, "we didn't have to call at all." I then asked to speak to my doctor and she refused staying, "he had other appointments that he's attending to." I left the office and called back requesting that my doctor give me a call. The receptionist responded, "go f%$# yourself!" I couldn't believe what had just happened. A week later I went to my primary care physician and he had called Dr M office requesting my bloodwork and was refused and hung up on by this same receptionist. I was able to get my bloodwork from the lab thank goodness. I have since tried to contact Dr M but have been rejected by this same receptionist every time unfortunately. I recently received an unsigned letter from Sound Endocrinology stating they can no longer treat me due to my vulgarity towards their staff members. I have to laugh at this because it was actually the opposite. I have never had any issues with office until recently. It is very unethical behavior and I'm convince Dr Mitsinikos is unaware of all this and probably the reason why the letter wasn't signed by him or anyone. I wonder how many others this receptionist has treated like me. Extremely unprofessional! I DO NOT RECOMMEND USING THIS OFFICE!

Mind you I rescheduled one appointment because I was notified 20min before that my very good insurance would not cover diagnostic testing and I would be charged $500 for an initial consultation. I contacted BCBS PPO and according to them and New York Insurance Law §§ 3221(k)(6)(C) and 4303(s)(3) it is covered. They should just say they do not take insurance if that is the case or actually verify benefits! Also learn how to speak to people.
